The Obama administration revealed last week that as much as $16.1 million from the stimulus program is going to save the San Francisco Bay Area habitat of, among other things, the endangered salt marsh harvest mouse.

That has revived Republican criticism that the pet project was an “invisible earmark” in the massive spending bill for Mrs. Pelosi, whose San Francisco district abuts the Bay, and epitomizes what Republicans say is the failure of stimulus spending so far to help an economy still shedding jobs.

“Lo and behold, the government has announced that the mouse is getting its money after all,” House Minority Leader John A. Boehner, Ohio Republican, said, standing beside a poster of the furry varmint. “Speaker Pelosi must be so proud.”

If you had 3 bills awaiting payment on your desk, one being the rent bill, the other food, and the last a medical bill, which one are you going to pay? Do you mean to tell me there’s people out there facing this delima and they send in a medical payment!? Who in their right mind would starve or lose their house before they pay medical bills?

I’m not saying people aren’t in dire straights, but FFS, if you’re going to fear monger, at least make it something believable.

Well, you dont expect conyers to have a room full of lawyers to help explain why it is better do you. i mean, come on, be reaonable.

I cannot understand the polls that have Obama at 50% approval. What is up with that?! Are they for real?! Everywhere I look, people are mad as h—!, but they still love him?!

Rahm Emanuel is hard at work doing all he can to rig the 2010 Census so a slew of new congressional districts will be created. All of these new districts will be Democrat leaning and this country will be closer than ever to virtual one-party rule. Most of these new districts will be created because tens of millions of “persons” – anyone with a heartbeat – who are in fact illegal aliens will be counted. The accuracy of the counting will be up to groups like ACORN. We already have at least five people in the U.S. House of Representatives who are representing districts created by illegal alien “persons”. One of the reasons the President’s health care bill allows illegal aliens to get free health care is people like Rahm want all these new potential voters (amnesty) to remember to vote for the party that always gives them the free stuff: The Democrats.

Rahm’s brother Ari is the most powerful talent agent in hollywood now. If you ever wonder why you see so many “stars” given tours in the White House, it’s because Rahm and Ari have an agreement. Rahm gives hollywood the VIP treatment and in return these high profile “stars” campaign for Obama.

I would do exactly what I do now, If can’t crack that nut at the end of the month I find a way to make some more money. It’s always worked for me! One thing I know is nobody is going to do it for me and I would not expect them too!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Conyers you say that it is the best plan, but why? Explain yourself. You never did quantify your premise.

We have extremely unqualified imbeciles in control of this country. Why do so many Americans who seem to have some common sense and intelligence vote and keep re-electing these people? Is there some kind of societal suicide pact going on that some of us are not aware of?
