Rahm Emanuel is using his typical mincing of words to distort Rush Limbaugh’s words. I am an Independent and have noticed this is a common tactic of Mr. Obama as well. They (the Administration) keep saying they invite the Republicans to join them in “fixing” America, but only if they acquiesce to their way of thinking. I blame both parties for the fiasco that is occurring with the economy. Despite what has been written above, the Republicans failed in 2006 and 2008 not because they moved too far to the right, but because they moved too far to the middle….maybe even a little too far to the left. No one really knows what the correct recipe for success is for the economy, but history has shown us that a spending spree does not help over time. The future is scary with all this spending…..God bless us all!

Article II Section one:

The Hal Turner Show blog, in a February 26, 2009 entry, entitled, “FEDS GRANT EMINENT DOMAIN AS COLLATERAL TO CHINA FOR U.S. DEBTS!,” contains this statement in the second paragraph:
“On February 11, Bloomberg Business News reported that China was seeking “guarantees” for its US Government debt, and it now appears they got it. Well placed senior sources at the US Embassy in Beijing CONFIRM the formal written agreement was delivered by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during her recent trip to China.”
The third paragraph draws a conclusion:
“This means that in the event the US Government defaults on its financial obligations to China, the Communist Government of China would be permitted to physically take — inside the USA — land, buildings, factories, perhaps even entire cities – to satisfy the financial obligations of the US government.”
A couple of things to note:
1) Like President Bush or not, he had the class and courage to allow dissenting views in this country. He never called out a single irresponsible (or responsible) liberal journalist by name.
2) Mrs Clinton – and all of the other democrats running in the primaries said it was our American duty to dissent to what was the current administration. Where is that attitude now?
3) the democrats won the election. They had 53-54% of the country’s vote. They have most of the print media, the broadcast media, they have PBS which is government funded and was liberal even under Republican administrations, they have most higher learning institutes. The conservatives have talk radio and one cable news channel. If Rush is such a non-entity, why do they care?
It’s because they are afraid…and this is a very immature administration.
