I guess it’s OK if they are public school buses; the kids can’t read until they get into high school and by then they are driving to school.

Touching, isn’t it. The publick skewell system is getting the next generation of mindless consumers hooked on the debt cycle early.
I don’t buy advertised products. Now, there are exceptions of course. But, I won’t buy a car from a dealer, I buy clothes secondhand, and I shop based on price rather than some silly skit promoting a product.
Bottom line: I don’t have any debts. No credit card, no mortgage, no car payments, nothing. And I do have money socked away, too.
BOYCOTT ADVERTISING!!

We have billions of $ sloshing around but have been restricted in spending it by draconian attitudes.

The Benson and Hedges King size bus
The Marlbrough Express
The Camel lights cruiser
And this is just the start, as i have instructed our top men to come up with much more fanciful ideas to tempt the gullible school children on the bus of enLIGHTenment.
Wow, we could buy up space to counter the Inconvenient Truth right there on the school bus.
The possibilities are endless. lol
What kind of idiots would consider this before spending cuts (via renegotiating union contracts) and/or–yes, I will dare say it–a local tax increase. Seriously, too cowardly to make budget cuts or ask the community to pay for services they get? Let’s cop out and let people try to profit from our kids’naivete! Yahoo!
How many Fruit Loop ads can you have on a bus?
I don’t see a problem here given the restrictions already imposed upon the ads. This is an excellent way to generate much needed revenue to save and shield property owners from some of the increases in taxes to fund the government schools. Even if the ads paid for the cost of busing the children, it would help mitigate the cost of education to the taxpayer.
We live in a supposedly free market America and advertisements are one cornerstones of this market. Given all of the people who are getting “wee wee’ed up” over Socialism, this is an excellent innovation that promotes capitalism.
Reasonable advertisements inside the buses would be ads for colleges, universities, private schools, supermarkets, TV stations, children’s movies, age appropriate art supplies and art suppliers, bookstores and age appropriate books, and on and on…
Appropriate ads for either outside or inside the buses could very well be regulated by the voters in the school districts in which the buses operate. I see this as a win / win situation for everyone; taxpayers, advertisers, children, and the the free market as opposed the government regulation and the socialists attacks on our liberty coming at us every day now.
Give freedom and liberty a chance, you might be surprised at the outcome.

I see this as an attempt by the ‘mentally unstable’ Democratzi to “capture the minds of the young”…just the same reason that one Louis Farrakhan declared that Bilderberg Bush-Obama is the Nation of Islam’s Messiah…because he captured the minds of the young!
