Prius Recall Weighs Over Toyota

AP: Toyota plans to recall about 300,000 Prius hybrids worldwide over a brake problem and will notify the U.S. and Japanese governments Tuesday, a news report said, as a top executive will testify before U.S. lawmakers over recall woes that have tarnished its reputation for quality and safety. The recall of the gas-electric Prius will cover the latest version of the cars that went on sale since May, Kyodo News agency reported late Monday.

I’ll buy an eco-car, no problem. When they outperform a V8 during the winter months over a span of 8 years. Then, and only then would I even consider such a vehicle.

I could use my other standard though. I’ll get an eco-car when Gore does or when he actually travels around in it. Presently his eco-vehicle is an SUV–Ford Escalade.

I hear DC is bound to get an additional 20 inches of global warming on top of the 30 inches they’ve already had. What malarkey!

Bad politics, bad design, bad manufacturing engineering and bad logistical support…….

Ultimately, it would not surprise me if it is finally revealed that either the unions or someone in our government (now 70% owner of GM) hired this guy and his Prius (with the Prius Existing Condition) in the commission of a hoax to defame Toyata’s reputation and U.S. car sales to help the U.S automotive industry recover faster.
