I miss a president like Ronald Reagan. A leader like Reagan isn't ashamed to be an American. We need another strong leader like him…soon.

winstonlabrador   December 25th, 2011 - 1:06 am

Can anyone imagine this message happening today? He summed it up beautifully and encompassed everyone. His love of mankind was obvious. I saw this again a few months ago, after seeing it the first time, and I was moved almost to tears. Now any one who has faith is dismissed. I miss Ronald Reagan very much, but I have faith that there is someone ready to lead us in the tradition our country was founded upon. If not, then each and every one of us are responsible for doing to best thing we can in how we live our lives. The longest democracy has probably been ours, but we all owe it to each other to keep it alive.

winstonlabrador   December 25th, 2011 - 1:07 am

You miss him? I crave him. –even Nancy. Well, maybe not Nancy.

quivive   December 25th, 2011 - 1:17 am

Strip away all the good Reagan did or attributes he was imbued with except his honest desire to inspire and that one quality alone made him one exceptional American.

Bearmaul   December 25th, 2011 - 1:43 am

After the 60's, after Vietnam, after Watergate came the Carter administration, folks forget just how bad things can get and it seems to me jimmy was sent to remind us but then came Reagan and hope came alive. Reagan was the president who taught me that great conservative minds possess great ideas and it was Jimmy Carter who taught me that it was the ideas that possessed liberal minds.

Merry Christmas……Bear M.

Kevinezer Scrooge   December 25th, 2011 - 2:29 am

While I don't doubt you love beasts and children, it's nice to see you have the Christmas spirit.

BIZZLE

WorldclaZZ   December 25th, 2011 - 2:41 am

President Reagan loved his country and did his best to instill that love into every citizen.
We get a community activist who works to inspire the Occupy Wall Street derelicts.
How sad to realize what has happened to our once great nation.

sunflowers   December 25th, 2011 - 3:39 am

Merry Christmas Breitbart Pals. May Peace be with you.

cupofstfu   December 25th, 2011 - 3:54 am

bill maher wannabe ; )

wodiej61   December 25th, 2011 - 3:57 am

Wonderful message from the late President Reagan. May we have a new president in Jan. 2013 that will again carry the torch of freedom, goodwill and principles this country was founded on.

wodiej61   December 25th, 2011 - 3:59 am

Merry Christmas. Apparently Americans have short memories and need to be reminded every 30 years of what happens when you have a far left liberal running the country like Carter and Obama.

Blueberry_Tea   December 25th, 2011 - 4:41 am

Yeup!

Ron ruled the world with his elderly charm and can-do Yankee spirit, and he DID! I remember the snotty punk Prince Charles, the country club royal elitist who Ron helped pick up from the ground when Charlie fell off his horse. We will get another Ronnie to put these hollow elitist rhinos and snotty know-it-all liberals in the correct light.

joymc   December 25th, 2011 - 4:45 am

When I was a child I understood as a child.
I was taught to say "Merry Christmas" as a friendly holiday greeting back then.
But it sounded so chirpy and phony to me like saying "Bless you" for a sneeze. So I rarely ever said it to anyone
even if they said it to me.
These days there are some who would have Christians just stop all outward acknowledgement of faith, particularly in any public space.
But It occurred to me at some point that "Merry Christmas" is really a joyous declaration by the speaker that he and the listener
are saved by, and children of the same God. A reminder of kinship. A declaration of that greatest of blessings we have in common.
As surely as drawing that fish in the dirt in the first and second centuries.
And so
Merry Christmas.

Lord_Nibbler   December 25th, 2011 - 4:56 am

One of a kind. Lets pray we find another soon.

mustafamonde   December 25th, 2011 - 5:31 am

Christmas will come early next year folks…Nov. 2012. You won't exactly be "given" something, in fact, for liberals, something will be taken away, but the gift America will receive will make for a very happy 2013.

TANSTAAFL   December 25th, 2011 - 5:46 am

Andrew: Thank you for posting this. You are a true Patriot sir!!

President Reagan was The Greatest of The Great:-)

bedtimeforbonzo   December 25th, 2011 - 6:58 am

This guy wasn't a president, He was just a bad actor that played one on T.V.

Conservatives, like all lower animals, are easy to fool.

And Reagan is burning in hell this Christmas Day.

AZTom   December 25th, 2011 - 7:07 am

You Sir, are an A$$

AZTom   December 25th, 2011 - 7:08 am

I remember that Christmas………one of my best! Reagan is right next to Washington and Lincoln as one of our best.

jerrykimbro   December 25th, 2011 - 7:29 am

If you compare this message to Obama's current message you notice immediately that Reagan unabashedly praised Jesus Christ as our savior and credited God as being our creator.

Obama can't mention either one of them in any circumstance- not even through clinched teeth…

KevinT63   December 25th, 2011 - 8:09 am

Always, thank you, Gipper

LayerDepth   December 25th, 2011 - 8:18 am

My greatest regret politically is that when I was young and I had the opprotunity to vote for this man, one of America's greatest Presidents, I didn't. His constant fight against communism, at home and abroad, his unabashed belief in God our creator, and his strength of character and resolve are the qualities I admire most. I have only recently realized what I missed out on. My wife, a Japanese national, insisted we buy a home when I returned from overseas that was built in the early '80's. I asked her why. She said because that is when America was best. God Bless America today and everyday, let's not go quitely into the night. Merry Christmas.

timeguardian   December 25th, 2011 - 8:35 am

That was when America was different because of truly great man's love of country. Before the White House Christmas trees were decorated with Communist ornaments of false messiahs. And certainly a different kind of hope and change!

Chipsbee   December 25th, 2011 - 8:38 am

Thanks for the update . Now I don't have to watch it to compare. Merry Christmas.

ShawnSen   December 25th, 2011 - 8:56 am

Take Note…………..Reagan spoke often and eloquently about Chrstianity . He was as religious as any President in history.
So when you hear the claim that this or that candidate is far to religious to become President , remind them of the Ronny….

I am not celebrating until November 7th, 2012. When B.O. is defeated.

Nightburner   December 25th, 2011 - 9:10 am

It must be tough feeling so alienated from decent Americans.

Nightburner   December 25th, 2011 - 9:13 am

Ronny appreciated and loved Nancy, and that's good enough for me. I didn't pay much attention to her, but she was and is a fine woman.

Nightburner   December 25th, 2011 - 9:16 am

He was an authentic and unabashedly proud American, and we were very fortunate to have him as president for 8 years.

Nightburner   December 25th, 2011 - 9:17 am

I second that.

Nightburner   December 25th, 2011 - 9:24 am

I'd much rather a president study his horoscope than study Saul Alinsky.

democratsarefools   December 25th, 2011 - 9:24 am

I'll bet Ronald Wilson Reagan wrote that. And the punk in that house today, whose also here, out of decency, something that one does not know about, but just reads it, will read lines someone else wrote for him, like a caimpaign speech, and does not mean a word of it. No comparison; that one is not even a man.

leadstate   December 25th, 2011 - 9:26 am

Reagan didn't have to pretend to be a Patriot, we never questioned it.

Obama wears Patriotism like a scratchy wool suit one size too small. His mouth can barely form the words, and they ring hollow.

PushHereToFlush   December 25th, 2011 - 9:27 am

Another term for Obama and we'll be celebrating Marxmas, at gunpoint if need be.

Libtard   December 25th, 2011 - 10:05 am

You forgot the second half….

He's an — Hole….

08hayabusa   December 25th, 2011 - 10:16 am

Big difference between Reagan's Christmas message and Barry and the Wookie's message.

Notice the difference in sincerity?

The Obama's can't fake that quality because there is nothing sincere about them.

08hayabusa   December 25th, 2011 - 10:31 am

Reagan is the only President that I voted for with enthusiasm.

Now here was a LEADER…a man amongst men who restored to a broken people…after Jimmy "hamas' Carter…patriotism and belief that we can restore our nation to what it was before the Carter debacle!

There are men/women today of President Reagan's commitment…patriotism and loyalty to our Republic…but 'real' conservatives spend so much time looking for another savior…they can't see the forest through the trees!

Only (2) 'real' conservatives of Reagan's mold…Rep Bachmann and Rick Santorum!

PushHereToFlush   December 25th, 2011 - 11:51 am

Reagan's address sounds like just what Gingrich would have given. Bachmann and Santorum would have run through their personal history first.

When do Mormons celebrate Christmas, anyway?

winstonlabrador   December 25th, 2011 - 12:11 pm

You are right. He adored her and that is all I need to hear. At least one of the offspring is a nut-case, but every family has a couple.

TANSTAAFL   December 25th, 2011 - 12:19 pm

He was one of America's greatest Presidents, clownboy. And the fact that you you are so full of hate, that you are unable to think outside the crude boundaries of stereotypes says more about you than it does about him.

And I'm quite sure that God has rewarded him for freeing untold millions from the murderous idiocy known as marxism.

TANSTAAFL   December 25th, 2011 - 12:20 pm

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Post it to Facebook and other social media to spread Bill's wisdom around.

Htos1   December 25th, 2011 - 12:20 pm

I still can't believe I got to come into adulthood during the Reagan admin. What a blessing I received. We need another Reagan for all the younger citizens.

What a good,good,fine,man.I love him.

Frisco1522   December 25th, 2011 - 12:30 pm

Ah back in the days when our country had a leader. Look at the ignorant jackass we call president today. No respect for Christians, no respect for the job and no respect for the country or any of us. Look how far we've fallen since Ronald Reagan.

John_Campbell   December 25th, 2011 - 12:31 pm

Are you really so sick that you just had to make such a post? Hopefully God will bless you with a cure for your mind, and with a little work on your part, bless you with redemption for your soul. I pray, Amen.

John_Campbell   December 25th, 2011 - 12:41 pm

In actuality, "Merry Christmas" is sort of the lazy version of speech. The "Merry" part is only capitalized as the first word in a sentence would be, thus the shortened version of wishing someone to have a merry Christmas.

Try it this way and it will make more sense:

"Have a very, merry, Christmas!" :o )

John_Campbell   December 25th, 2011 - 12:54 pm

The one time of the year that I always tell everyone to always keep near and dear to their heart is Christmas. How I would love to be able to be a child one last time and see my parents bring home a fresh cut tree, place it in the stand in the living room, water it and decorate it, and then, late at night on Christmas eve, send me to bed as we waited for the arrival of Santa Claus. I'll never have the joy of such times again, but I try to make up for it with giving such to everyone I can, both young and old, for there are some things well worth giving and remembering.

To one and all, whether you believe or not, whether we see eye to eye or not,

Have a merry Christmas!

John_Campbell   December 25th, 2011 - 12:56 pm

The same day the rest of us do.

edro3111   December 25th, 2011 - 1:01 pm

Sounded just like the Mooslim POTUS Christmas address just before he jetted off to Hawaii didn't it? N O T!!!!!!!!! The current POTUS would have had to have a 10 foot ladder just to kiss Mr. Reagan's butt!

"Defense department agrees to allow Muslim cadets to wear hijabs

Gingrich is as sincere. There are easier ways to gather votes, like Obama giveaways, than trying to please conservatives.

gorkisadork   December 25th, 2011 - 9:31 pm

It's so good to see this video.

We had a solidi gold and granite president who talked about our humble faith in the Christ Child. He celebrated both Christian and Jewish beliefs. He respected us. Thank you.

Don't beat yourself up too much. Reagan won two terms without your vote. So it worked out. Now that you are wiser and appreciate him, you are so much the better. Let's work to replace this modern day Jimmy Carter we have in the White House.

Are you kidding me?????? Really? Going for not one…but two big NWO organization guys…OH MY GOODNESS!

Bilderberg Bolton…

Former Ambassador JOHN BOLTON – Bilderberg attendee 2003 at the same time he was representing the US government in negotiations with North Korea! Why did he attend? Who asked him to attend? What was his participation? What took place at that ‘secret’ meeting? Did he break the Logan Act in attending?

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-80334612...

Eileen for Freedom   December 26th, 2011 - 7:40 am

PART II –

The Logan Act which states, "Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both." The Logan Act also bars public officials from meeting with private citizens to make policy.

FLUSHED…FLUSHED…AND FLUSHED AGAIN!

PushHereToFlush   December 26th, 2011 - 8:44 am

“The Logan Act also bars public officials from meeting with private citizens to make policy”.No it doesn't.Where in the Logan Act you cited does it say private citizens can't meet with foreign or domestic private citizens, or that US government officials can't meet with foreign or domestic private citizens? The intent of the meeting has to be with intent of deleterious effect on the US and counter to ongoing US activities.

PushHereToFlush   December 26th, 2011 - 8:50 am

Attending conferences is a disqualifier?  Intentional ignorance is a resume enhancer?  That's nutty.  Bolton was exactly the one to go to an international conference on policy.  Did he violate the law?  Do you have some knowledge he was not authorized to attend and promote United States interests?I understand you don't like anyone but Bachmann and Santorum but at least campaign for them from a perspective of sanity.

Eileen for Freedom   December 26th, 2011 - 8:52 am

Bilderberg Bolton was NOT a private citizen at the time…he was working for the US government!

FLUSHED…AGAIN…AND AGAIN!

gorkisadork   December 26th, 2011 - 9:38 am

Yes. Good Idea!

PushHereToFlush   December 26th, 2011 - 9:57 am

So what makes you think he was not acting on the behalf of the United States, since he was an ambassador, and what makes you think he made deals with foreign governments contrary to the interests and activities of the United States?

Eileen for Freedom   December 26th, 2011 - 12:20 pm

Because his meeting with this 'secret' group of world leaders, billionaires and financiers would have been illegal and…if…he did at the bequest of our government…someone's head should roll!

Get it?

FLUSHED!
