I thought the students were manhandled roughly by the police strictly to intimidate them. and frankly it reminded me of the Iranian protests, though the level of violence by the police against the students was more carefully moderated, but rough all the same. Thier rights to free assembly were violated. This isn’t freedom. The police’s military look should alarm us all.

Freedom of assembly is a right. However, moving through police barricades, vandalism, causing mayhem and inciting to riot are not guaranteed under the constitution. These little socialist punks should have stayed on campus or been at home. Most of them are probably getting funded by ‘guess what’, your tax dollars through grants and loans. If they want to live in a socialist economy so bad they can always move to China or North Korea. All I can say is I am so proud of the 9-12 march on Washington. Hundreds of thousands marched in non-violent protest of obama’s agenda, no destruction, left the place clean. See the difference people? It has to do with being raised proper and being civilized.

These heavy-handed police tactics are the look of a government that is scared. Such a government resorts to fear and intimidation because it has lost the respect and dignity it should work to deserve.
