What is wrong with this? Is there something wrong with being upset about the library closing?

The sad part is that many people would cry if their TV set was disconnected. They rather see propaganda on TV than read a book.

There’s nothing wrong with it, they aren’t taunting the man. Phili is closing 11 of the area libraries (along with public pools) in order to “save money”. The newscast was covering the protesters at one of those libraries.

After school programs in libraries help the community. Crime will go up as these kids find other avenues for entertainment. Instead of spending money to keep a library running, they’ll end up spending that money to hire more police. What a great idea! *smirk*

So you are saying that criminals prefer hanging out in a library to stealing some liquor?

What’s sad is that there are more people as passionate about these types of things. Instead we care what Paris Hilton’s BFF is going to do if she gets kicked off the show. We’re so stupid as a nation, we deserve to burn.

Guy is sad b/c he now must pay for his own heat / AC utilities during the day, plus loses a place to check out teen-age girls.

bummer

I didn’t know they could read. After all they vote for Murtha every time. Now there’s something He should be crying about.

I know there is a lot of sentimental value in his library but anyome who doesn’t think that his crying is funny doesn’t have a sense of humor.

The next administration’s mandate gives them the right to remove libraries from the public. The office of the President-Elect responded:

“Today it may seem as if information is being taken from the public with the closings of certain schools and libraries, but know that the Messiah will continue to offer information to the public as he deems it necessary.”

Nah… he didn’t say that that. He just thought it.

tduck   November 24th, 2008 - 12:52 pm

That is good humor! Guys on the radio played this and I thought it was a bit, but he’s as serious as a heart attack. Funny on a lot of levels.
