Bush was a bad man. A silver spoon son of ill gotten wealth with no interest in anyone but himself and his cronies. That’s why no adoration was heaped on him. Reagan, on the other hand, was beloved and got tons of praise from all and sundry. Obama basks in the relief people feel finally being rid of Bush. It’ll pass. This particular news story and its respondent postings is a microcosm of what is going on in this country. First off, Sandra has a right to an opinion as do all else who post here. But the argument is lost once the name calling begins. There is a fine line between Civil debate and Intellectual debate. Civil debate can become uncivil very quickly. Intellectual debate offers the chance to debunk others when real facts are presented. I believe that principal should be reprimanded if the making of that video was not part of the cirriculum and especially if school funds were used. Also, if that is the case the teacher responsible should be fired. People are losing jobs daily for a lot less.
