Palin: ‘Enough Is Enough With Lies About Newt Gingrich’

Sarah Palin said that she wasn't "whining about viciousness" in the GOP race but that the "rewritten history" of Gingrich's relationship with Ronald Reagan caused her to enter into the GOP primary and defend the former Speaker.

What, The Republican and Democrap Elites don't want us to have Newt Gingrich as our nominee?
Say it ain't so !

I guess Newt must have pissed off a whole bunch of the embedded criminals in Washington DC….
Just the kind of guy I want in the White House !

Thanks Sarah, I always know that your heart is in the right place when it comes to America !

snailmailtrucker   January 31st, 2012 - 12:51 am

Anexio, your brain is anorexic… stop toking and eat something nourishing !

antilibterds   January 31st, 2012 - 12:56 am

Maybe she should back an old fat purple man then anorexia would be happy. Down with the struggle to prop up the old fat purple man cuz da man has been keeping him down.

DUKIE78   January 31st, 2012 - 12:57 am

Thank you Gov. Palin, for taking the fight to the establishment guard of the Republican Party. This is why many of us have left and become Independent Tea Party supporters. We are so grateful that Sarah Palin is a Patriot who is not afraid of the thugs in the "Food Stamp Party" or the thugs running the Republican party.

antilibterds   January 31st, 2012 - 1:01 am

If the rino / timid gop estab is against Newt then I am all for Newt.. When McCain supported Miitens Obama in FL I knew then that something smelled like a dead rat.

Narcissist Extremist   January 31st, 2012 - 1:02 am

Sarah, always a breath of fresh air.

M-I-DOUBLE TIZZLE   January 31st, 2012 - 1:22 am

what lies?
Newt has more baggage than the lost and found at LAX

OldmanRick   January 31st, 2012 - 1:27 am

Newt causes extreme fear in both establishment repugnuts and dims. He knows the workings of DC and can beat them at their own game. With Newt in the oval office their rice bowls and cushy jobs are in jeopardy. Slackers and bottom feeders will be on notice to actually produce for the first time in years rather than just feed at the trough and fatten their wallets at taxpayer expense.

Aaron11   January 31st, 2012 - 1:27 am

Sounds like 30 pieces of silver….I hope it was worth it Sarah.

M-I-DOUBLE TIZZLE   January 31st, 2012 - 1:30 am

Glad to see Sarah is brave enough to stand on the sidelines, film some failed reality shows, fleece her followers for money, and guttersnipe, rather than roll up her sleeves and walk the walk.

evad3429   January 31st, 2012 - 1:50 am

I imagine she gets paid quite handsomely or she wouldn't do it.

evad3429   January 31st, 2012 - 1:51 am

There's no money in walking the walk.

evad3429   January 31st, 2012 - 1:52 am

Nice to see that Sarah had enough money to buy Michael Jackson's jacket from the Thriller video.

Sarah, still has a lot of loyal followers…ones that KNOW what Obama and the crooks in Washington did to her, when she was forced OUT of her job in Alaska! What goes around, comes around! Go Sarah!!!

KraZedSeXpooDle   January 31st, 2012 - 2:37 am

The media has beat on Gingrich more than they beat on Palin.

beaverfood   January 31st, 2012 - 2:45 am

As I understand the situation – this country is broke. Therefore, what kind of insanity is it that would cause anyone to support a guy that wants to put a colony on the moon. Wait……..why the hell would we ever want a colony on the moon even if we were not broke. This guy is capable of spending more money than HusseinObama.

Stinger18   January 31st, 2012 - 2:47 am

Newt calling himself the legitimate heir to the Reagan movement is the funniest thing I've heard. Almost as funny as calling himself a conservative, since he's been on the liberal/progressive side of so many issues… pro-cap and trade, pro-mandate, pro-amnesty, pro-internet censorship. He called Reagan a failure, more than once. He cut Paul Ryan off at the knees (in fear that Ryan might want to run for President). Newt condemed Ryan's medicare reform plan as radical "social engineering"… but thinks its perfectly logical to build a moon base within the next 8 years.

Stinger18   January 31st, 2012 - 2:51 am

Palin's political star is fading. Leaving her governership in midterm was a big mistake. Latching herself to Newt even bigger.

dasnider   January 31st, 2012 - 2:57 am

Oh no she is back. Why cant she shut the hell up. She gets me sick !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AussieDon   January 31st, 2012 - 3:19 am

But she's on Fox News

Thron   January 31st, 2012 - 4:04 am

This is sad, Palin complaining about crony capitalism, insider trading by congress and believing Newt's version versus Pat Buchannan's version of how Newt was viewed by Reagan. First, Newt's contract with Fanny May after leaving Congress is how the political side of crony capitalism is paid for favors while in Congress. Newt as speaker NEVER addressed the insider trading aspect of Congress but did give a greater role to K-Street insiders. Pat Buchannan who Reagan actually knew by name has characterized Newt's role and it is another solar system from what Palin is implying. Palin needs to get her facts from more than just Newt. Even Rush Limbaugh who functions with half his brain confessed he never was aware of Newt's negative criticism of Reagan that was on video! Maybe Palin is also functioning with half her brain and she and Rush may have to consider using their whole brain to absorb ALL the facts.

Obamaisatraitor   January 31st, 2012 - 4:19 am

Looks like the same ones working to re-district out Alan West in Florida.

PushHereToFlush   January 31st, 2012 - 4:24 am

If Romney wins, we know how he will keep his administration and Congress under his thumb. Anyone straying from the Romney line will suffer personal destruction.

SubVert Progress   January 31st, 2012 - 4:24 am

again Sarah is on the wrong side of conservatism.
2010 she Backed Carly Fiorina over stalwart conservative Chuck DeVore in the California Senate race. In 2010 she also backed John McCain over J.D. Hayworth in Arizona senate race. Sarah may have had some bonafide credentials at one time, but she has repeatedly proved to be part of the " machine" she is telling everyone to rage against.

Sorry Sarah, no loyalty given to those that repeatedly prove they are not worthy of loyalty

PushHereToFlush   January 31st, 2012 - 4:25 am

I don't think smoking pot and latching on to Ron Paul would have taken her three feet.

PushHereToFlush   January 31st, 2012 - 4:26 am

Makes you want to punch her in the face, like she's one of your kids, doesn't it?

PushHereToFlush   January 31st, 2012 - 4:29 am

Failed women predictably hate successful women like Sarah Palin. You've proved it again.

OWS was dreamed up by bums to justify defecating in public. That's all it was for.

towerhill66   January 31st, 2012 - 4:30 am

I love Sarah when she goes after liberals and barry but if we are going to take our marching orders from her we have to be crazy….she is starting to become a cartoon like newt!!!!

Obamaisatraitor   January 31st, 2012 - 4:32 am

This brave woman has received more abuse than anyone in politics for 60 years. Why ? Her apparent crime violates the leftist position on eugenics: She had a baby who is not 'perfect'. Not to mention she is a beautiful, conservative woman.

She rattles the establishment RINOS, defines crony capitalism and calls it like it is which liberals will not tolerate. It is our loss she did not run. But she is brilliant to stay out of the mud and still influence her vast following of regular Tea Party Americans. I look forward to her thumbs up in thousands of races where patriots will be challenging incumbents in Congress who ARE the problem.

The "Stock Act" rushing through Congress this week does NOT fix the problem. ONLY the elected official must disclose $1000 of trades. The law does NOT address real estate transactions (they buy cheap on knowledge and sell to the government at high prices), does not address their relatives, their trusts, their companies, their non-profits (where they get donations) or their brokers who trade for them. Congress thinks they have fooled us with this joke. Hope Sarah calls them out. No wonder LBJ went to Congress with $35,000 net worth and left with $35 million. It has gone on forever.

John_Campbell   January 31st, 2012 - 4:33 am

Oh ya! Sarah tells it like it is and watch the trolls come out! Getting a kick out of watching Romney lie about Newt's history as well. Every time Romney opens his mouth to spew he gets the facts shove back down his throat. Go ahead, tell us again how Newt was the subject of an ethics investigation, but be sure not to mention that after 3 and a half years of it just what the outcome was and whose administration did the investigation. When even the leftists with full control can't find wrong doing that apparently is not worth mentioning by Romney.

John_Campbell   January 31st, 2012 - 4:35 am

Don't try to cite Rush with this. The return on that one came after the initial comments and he stated so in the next segment when the information finally started pouring in.

John_Campbell   January 31st, 2012 - 4:36 am

In reverse maybe.

John_Campbell   January 31st, 2012 - 4:38 am

Think nothing of it. You make everyone sick. Palin is the counterweight and does just fine. She got you to stick your head out from under your rock, did she not? :o D

MagsTheCat   January 31st, 2012 - 4:39 am

Takes a liar to know one!!!! Sarah Palin is a total joke, she has no credibility and continues to demonstrate her ignorance and lack of knowledge regarding politics, history and common sense. She is making a fool out of herself and taking the GOP with it. I don't know which is worse, Newt and his delusional lies or Sarah, blindly defending him.

I do not understand the individuals out there that defend this idiotic woman – she has zero accomplishments (except quitting) and appears to make it up as she goes. Sarah….go away, you have made your money, your stupid daughter has her 15 minutes of fame and you have your big house in AZ!!! We don't want your opinion.

rckmom   January 31st, 2012 - 4:50 am

I believe it's pretty much a draw!

rckmom   January 31st, 2012 - 4:54 am

Newt is being treated with the same hatred as Palin got…from the GOP!!! I guess the OLD (GOP) guard is getting a little scared of being irrelevant!!! WE WANT A CONSERVATIVE, NOT another azz kisser!!!!

GloatingRichGuy   January 31st, 2012 - 4:55 am

Amen. I used to be a Sarah supporter. Now I just wish she'd go away. She had a chance to be the standard bearer for the Republican party. Instead, she turned herself into an incomprehensible joke. She holds the position as the only Republican I turn off when she comes on TV. Ugh! i quit watching Hannity because he has her on.

FrankN2010   January 31st, 2012 - 4:59 am

"Establishment" doesn't capture the true nature of our career politicians. "Aristocracy" is a better label since they are a privileged class that have created political feudalism, living off the sweat and taxation of the American serfs. It doesn't matter if it's a republican or democrat, they all come from the same aristocratic family that creates an illusion of choice every election.

sunday30   January 31st, 2012 - 5:03 am

Sarah is telling the truth but so many of your are blind because you believe the old Republican establishment instead of researching for yourselves I see a sheep following crowd here start thinking for yourselves people and get some facts.
All they care about is staying in control of the money, they think Romney is the only one who can make sure that happens they really don`t believe Obama can be beat this way they will stay in control of the money no matter what happens.
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot wake the heck up people you want Romney then go for it in the end you will get what you deserve.

NellysMom   January 31st, 2012 - 5:07 am

These people on BreitBart cannot handle the truth; they are like a Beevis and Butthead convention for Newt/Sarah…quite humorous to read….scary that they actually think they are adding substance to the conversation.

IronTigersVet   January 31st, 2012 - 5:09 am

So tell us Anexio… where is there "lies" being put out there about the OWS? Show us how the media has faked pictures of Occutards chitting on cop cars in alleyways, destroying public property, raping and assaulting women, threatening journalists and media with bodily harm…

Hmmmm? Can you tell us all how these are lies? Can you explain how they are supposedly out there protesting against Capitalism, yet have encampments set up full of the latest laptops, iPhones, tablets, etc. to spread the true lies and hate about what they are there for?

I have a better idea… how about you and the rest of your unintelligent ilk get a clue and STFU!!

NellysMom   January 31st, 2012 - 5:09 am

HookedOnObumbles   January 31st, 2012 - 5:28 am

Wow!…that was…that was REALLY profound! You know what? You have changed my mind! I've never heard a more well thought out observance of Newt's struggles in this election. I would hope one day you will be called upon by some wise media outlet to project to the rest of the world your pearls of wisdom!

I await your next mono and double syllable pronouncement with great anticipation!

LINER01   January 31st, 2012 - 5:28 am

I liked JD Hayworth and I thought that the AZ Senate primary was the most important race in the 2010. This race was the real test of Tea Party Power. The only thing that I ever liked about McCain was that he picked Palin. But…he did put her on the map, so when McCain called for her support, Palin was in a tough spot. Sarah was going to look bad no matter which choice she made in AZ.

espersemper   January 31st, 2012 - 5:28 am

In your face Mags the Cat. You must be the other liar along with Romney. We all can guess why this hot outspoken all-American public voice of the people would intimidate the lot of bad humoured frustrated eunuchs.

NYresident   January 31st, 2012 - 5:29 am

You can rightly complain that YOU don't like the way she speaks, or that YOU don't like what she wears, or even that YOU don't like what her opinion is on various things, but don't try to say she has zero accomplishments, because that just tags YOU as a fool!

LINER01   January 31st, 2012 - 5:33 am

Some guy at OWS last summer wrote a song about times are a changing and that pretty much sums up my feelings. Time to throw out the old and get with new ideas cause the old ones dont work anymore.

Sarsipious   January 31st, 2012 - 6:04 am

Its a Tea Party centric site. So if you come here you should not act all surprised when it has that slant. Newt is not a Tea Partier, but Sarah is. It is just that Newt is now the honorary Tea Party person or more correctly stated that anti establishment candidate.

The folks here are very much focused on what they believe in. While I agree with a lot I dont agree with them completely. I tend to read all the various news sits to gain perspective from multiple angles since no one new source gives much in regards to un bias information. So its up to us voters to educate ourselves. If people dont do that and just hang out on sites where people have a very set opinion then they likely miss a lot. How much can anyone learn in a room full of people that only think a certain way and with no new information added ever?

alwaysright5   January 31st, 2012 - 6:09 am

Sarah should stay out of the primary elections, she may have to eat her words if Romney gets the nomination.

Deusexmachina   January 31st, 2012 - 6:15 am

That old piece of paper gives me sanction to remove you vermin from the face of the earth….

We'll see you this summer to discuss our differences…

repubs2012   January 31st, 2012 - 6:16 am

President Bill Clinton
"Newt Gingrich has been a worthy adversary, leading the Republican party to a majority in the House, and joining me in a great national debate over how best to prepare America for the 21st Century. "Despite our profound differences, I appreciate those times we were able to work together in the national interest, especially Speaker Gingrich's strong support for America's continuing leadership for freedom, peace and prosperity in the world."

House GOP Conference Chairman John Boehner
"As he has done so many times in the last 20 years, Newt Gingrich has shown incredible courage. He has always put his party's interest and his nation's interest ahead of his own. I know he will continue to serve his friends and his colleagues as an elder statesmen in our party."

Rep. Bill Archer (R-Texas)
"I'm saddened that my longtime close friend and colleague, Speaker Newt Gingrich, has decided to resign from Congress. Newt Gingrich is a visionary who was responsible for ending 40 years of high taxes, high spending, and a welfare state that had grown out of control. His leadership brought us welfare reform, the first budget surplus in 25 years, and a return to the opportunity society that America values. All Americans owe Newt Gingrich a debt of gratitude for his service to our country.

Republican National Committee Chairman Jim Nicholson
"Newt Gingrich has been a visionary figure in our party, one who has transformed American politics and reshaped the political debate in a remarkably short time. His announcement today was a magnanimous gesture, typical of the man whose selflessness and singular commitment to our party's agenda has led us to three historic consecutive majorities in the House of Representatives. It is now time for the party he has served so well to refocus on the issues that matter so much to him, and to all Americans: lower taxes, leaner government, greater individual freedoms, and enhanced opportunities for all Americans — with no one left behind."

Rep. Bob Barr (R-Georgia)
"I am deeply saddened as a friend and Member of Congress to learn of Newt Gingrich's decision to resign from Congress. The fact that Republicans hold a majority in Congress in the first place is directly attributable to Newt Gingrich's incredible vision and perseverence over the past decade. "Newt Gingrich will leave Congress as a great American hero, with a list of accomplishments rivaled by few in our nation's history. He will be sorely missed and deserves the thanks of a grateful nation."

Sen. Don Nickles (R-Oklahoma)
"Newt Gingrich's ideas contributed significantly to the Republican Party's greatest victories of the post-war period, and his commonsense conservative agenda has helped change the nation's political dialogue. He will be missed, but the traditional Republican policies that he pushed will continue in Congress and across the nation."

Rep. Roscoe Bartlett (R-Maryland)
"Newt will go down in history for his phenomenal achievement in winning the Republican majority in the House for the first time in 40 years. His action today was bold and gracious."

Rep. Cass Ballenger (R-North Carolina)
"I was very saddened by the news that Congressman Gingrich stepped down. I was a strong supporter of Gingrich since I came to office 12 years ago. I am very sad."

Tell me who is MORE old guard than Gingrich. He has been active politically since the sixties. Sure he can impress with witty one-liners but I don't know what sort of crazy idea will come out of his head next. Let's go to the moon people! Global Warming is upon us! Paul Ryan is evil! Well I really don't have anyone to refute my ex-wife's claims and I lied about it multiple times on TV!

It has been a constant show of contrariety since he announced. Every morning he wakes up he has to amend something he said the day before.

Mrs.Tank   January 31st, 2012 - 6:40 am

The one where the baby was abandoned, the one where someone was murdered, the one where women are being raped, the one where a dead man was raped, the one where they went on a rampage and wrecked a downtown area by smashing out windows and breaking into shops, the one where they sprayed graffiti everywhere, the one where the guy was crapping on a curb? WHICH ONE was not true? TELL US.

Stinger18   January 31st, 2012 - 6:40 am

DonTapout nailed it.

Mrs.Tank   January 31st, 2012 - 6:42 am

I'm sorry but Newt is NOT a conservative, he's as big government as you will ever get out of the left, Newt is a RINO and IMO Sarah is just not informed where Newt is concerned. Thumb me down all you want but it's the truth, I like Sarah but she does not know everything and we should not follow lock step just because she says something. Newt is NOT conservative.

duh_swami   January 31st, 2012 - 6:43 am

Stinger18   January 31st, 2012 - 6:51 am

Newt the narcissist wants us all to think of him as "the outsider", the non-establishment candidate. WHAT A CROCK! He's been in and around Washington his entire adult life. When he wasn't in office calling Reagan a failure, or taking the Republican congress into the gutter, he was lobbying for med companies and Freddie Mac, and pocketing millions doing it. Newt is the epitome of the Washington INSIDER!

NYresident   January 31st, 2012 - 7:02 am

You may have heard (but perhaps not), that she was governor of a U.S. state. (but you probably fell for the lame "she is a quitter" meme of the Democrat/media complex)

It's funny that most people who claim Sarah Palin has zero accomplishments, have no accomplishments to speak of, themselves.

LibertyWriter   January 31st, 2012 - 7:03 am

Why is it I don't believe you?

duh_swami   January 31st, 2012 - 7:05 am

Santorum and Paul did little or none of that, although Paul has been around as long or longer… Neither did Mitt come to think of it…he pocketed his millions from different sources…Why do we have to hire a millionaire for Prez when they have every possibility of becoming millionaires while in office? Was Obama a millionaire when elected? He is now..,.

LibertyWriter   January 31st, 2012 - 7:05 am

When the GOP's most ethnocentric cabal out of FL came out to proclaim Romney as their choice, I, too was convinced the fix was in. For all the tough sounding talk about immigration enforcement coming from Mitt, his most prominent supporters(amnesty/Dream Act cheerleaders, ALL) know it is a ruse, lest they would be howling to high heaven or at a minimum, trying to side step Romney's stated positions.

They are comfortable with Romney's campaign lies with regard to immigration because they consistently sing the same lyrics themselves "I support legal immigration …….must protect the border….." but their actions, voting records demonstrate that there has never been an amnesty path they did not support and they are first and loudest to decry any real effort to reduce H1Bs, chain migration, anchor babies, law/court enforcement of existing laws or effective border protection efforts.

For the record, I am NOT entirely confident in Speaker Gingrich's ideas re immigration either but I have been forced to discern between the reliability and plans of action set forth by Newt and what I know about Romney's supporters, particularly the "three amigos", as they refer to themselves.

Furthermore, contrary to the propaganda and orchestrated smear of his campaign, Gov. Rick Perry had the most realistic plans and documented actions to combat illegal immigration/ border protection over and above ANYONE running for POTUS. But that is another topic altogether. The bipartisan savaging of his campaign insured his removal and the limited choices we all now face for GOP candidate.

Stinger18   January 31st, 2012 - 7:07 am

I'm a big Tea Party supporter and did have a huge amount of respect for Palin. The Tea Party did not produce a candidate. The closest viable candidate with Tea Party ideals was Paul Ryan. As soon as Ryan stood up in the national spotlight as a leader, Newt the narcissist knocked him down! Something we would fully expect from Obama and Democraps, but it came from Newt Gingrich! Newt wanted to eliminate Ryan as a potential opponent in his march for the nomination!

FIRST thing Florida…..IGNORE the polls. These same whoremasters had Romney beating Newt in South Carolina, and what happened? That's right, Newt swept the floor with Romney's face.

In your hearts, you know that Romney is a RINO, and that Newt is the real deal.

Ask yourselves why is it that the elitist media are going so light handed on Romney? It's because they know Romney is McCain warmed over, and will be much easier to beat in the general election.

The elitists also know that Newt is the biggest threat to "big government", and that obuffoona doesn't stand a chance in a debate with him.

VOTE Newt….Like your children's lives depend on it!

Sarah Palin….Role Model?
- a hypocrite who preaches family values to me while having an illegitimate grandchild of her own?
- a fool who considers "What newspapers to you read?" as a 'gotcha' question?
- an ignorant moron who claims to see Russia from her backyard?
- a media hound who claims to want 'privacy for her family' yet appears in a reality show ABOUT HER FAMILY?
-A quitter who quit in the middle of not one, but two jobs.
…….
