That’s so awesome john makes jokes on how the scientist lied, an covered up data to make it appear that temperatures have increased. Then still keeps up the farce that there is man made global warming. can’t you just make a joke about what happened. Thats the joke the scientist have been lying to make their case. The second joke is on Stuart because he still ends up defending global warming.. Typical.

TulsaMark   December 3rd, 2009 - 10:10 pm

Global warming is a fraud, John.
And the scientists perpetrating the fraud should be criminally investigated.
When you steal a car, that’s grand theft, you go to jail.
When you steal billions of taxpayer dollars, isn’t that worthy of a criminal
investigation?
And it’s stealing when you take the money on the basis of a fraudulent conspiracy.
30,000 scientists have signed a petition disagreeing with the idea of man-made
global warming.
What is the goal of the Global Warming hoax? Money…..Power…..Control

NEOFREEDOM   December 3rd, 2009 - 11:30 pm

Jon,I guess you like to be taken to the cleaners by the Transnational EURO, OBAMA ,GORE CABAL. Climate Change,Global Warming what ever they call it is based on fraudulent Data provided by supposed experts on Climate who turned out to be the Bum Boys for the TRANZI’s. Jon get a life .

This is SOOOOOO, December 2nd. What’s going on, Andrew, even a blogger on your BigNeoconHollywood beat you here?

Sir Kingsley Vallintino   December 3rd, 2009 - 11:50 pm

When I was in college a short time ago, all the professors taught us anthropogenic global warming as though it were a fact. They said the scientific community was all in agreement over this point. Funny how nobody ever questioned the methods used to determine a temperature increase. This should serve as a reminder to everyone to question what we are taught!!! Just because it comes out of a “smart” person’s mouth doesn’t make it true. PS John, it stopped being funny once you started bashing the right (just like your show in general).

Jeff   December 3rd, 2009 - 11:50 pm

It’s a terrible thing to be wasted…

Gerry   December 3rd, 2009 - 11:52 pm

Maybe you should quit smoking dope, Jon.

Well, at least Algore can really crank-up His heat and utility bills this Winter in a guilt-free manner. *Yawwwwn

lol I love how the liberal cockroaches scurry to into the dark cracks and crevices when they can’t handle debating a losing side of the argument. Just as weak as the leader of your party. It’s too much to hope truth might actually be sinking in to those pea brain melons.

Loved how Al Gore called off his speech/dinner over in Copenhagen. The liberal no doubt scared he’d be met with pitch forks by his socialist counterparts.

It makes you want to question almost everything you learned in college. If they can lie about something like this…..

Gurnster   December 4th, 2009 - 10:53 am

Very interesting case study in cognitive dissonance. We have a population of people/followers/group thinkers that have fully invested themselves into man-made GW; and now they must somehow reconcile these new questionable scientific method revelations with their beliefs. So we see Stewart do this by basically saying Sen. Inofe (the other side) is the fool because he didn’t believe in GW before the email leaks – i.e. up until now, there was no reason not to believe.

I have to say it’s a lot of fun to watch people with a fully invested ego wiggle and worm like this.

Sweet! The two people who suggested the website http://www.Dearpolitician.org are right! Nice suggestion, awesome site! I just did my duty as an American and wrote a letter to 27 politicians. I think it is amazing how it pulls my politicians in my district and that they fax my letters to all their offices for free! I will suggest this site to all!

Jon,

Reality sucks doesn’t it, Jon.

Balloon Boy was a hoax and so is global warming.

Face reality.

THE SKY IS FALLING……THE SKY IS FALLING……

PLEASE……JUST STFU.

H2K   December 4th, 2009 - 12:58 pm

It sounds like Liebowicz is an ignorant northern trailer living, sheep and sister f…king warmer who is in incapable of logically processing information – including the facts that GW studies have been manipulated for political and and government research grant money purposes.

We have been lied to and anyone who continues to believe this GW nonsense doesn’t have the capacity for reason.

Kit   December 4th, 2009 - 12:59 pm

Mr. Stewart, please pick up your clue at Gate 3.

Tanya   December 4th, 2009 - 1:35 pm

Jon made some good points about the skewing of the data for an agenda. Any scientist worth his or her salt wouldn’t do that.. unless they had an agenda ;) But it takes people who can perform true statistical analysis now to go back through all of this (read: real scientists and not anyone with a political axe to grind either way) to determine what’s going on. The “lost” raw data is a shame. I would say that most sane people prefer our environment now, -less pollution, etc., and there’s no reason to go back to toxic chemical dumping, but it may be a cause for pause and reflection and serious study now into what is causing strange shifts to happen in various parts on our planet – enormous jellyfish swarms in suddenly warm water, glacial melting at high altitudes, all that sort of interesting stuff that we’re seeing. It is indeed interesting. But if you’re truly a scientist and curious about the causes of these things, you’re not going to have an agenda in mind one way or another. It’s too bad that so many scientists forgot this, and instead became activists. They should have known better. Jon, however, is a comedian who has writers and has no clue how to perform rigorous statistical analysis and doesn’t usually sit around reading peer-reviewed articles, I am betting, so he should keep neutral through this debate.. unless he has an agenda ;) Then again, so should the Senators and everyone else for the moment unless they do have proper scientific training.

The funniest thing that I’ve noticed about this is that the network news (non-cable versions) are as silent as the grave about all this. If ever there was proof that they have become irrelevant anachronisms, it is that they have been scooped by a hysterical idiot like Jon Stewart. It seems that they’re following Mr Obama’s example of sitting quietly until the people forget. Look for some breaking news about Britney or some other hyped nonsense to draw attention from what is really going on in the real world.
Too bad DWTS wrapped up too soon. Nothing like a “reality” show to distract the masses from reality.
