It seems that blocking the apple store is more agitation for the sake of agitation. OWS has a 'momentum' problem, I think, so this venue was chosen for this protest.

Also, the Publication, ADBUSTERS, that OWS is associated with, has dubbed Black Friday, as "Buy Nothing Day". So in the spirit of the day they choose this retailer. Can't say why this one in particular. I've perused Adbusters a few times and thought it an anti-comsumerist publication, at least it was a few years back.

When I was in HS, a local Radio Shack screwed me over. So, I took a day to stand outside the store and tell everyone who was entering the store what a crappy place RS was. I was quickly informed by first the mall security and then the police that I would be arrested if I continued.

Where are the police?

Apple products to varying extents rely on servers.
They can zap the devices in that they can 'brick" them or at least disrupt there accounts (maybe not legally but still possible).
They prefer to give their minions the illusion of control while they track and herd them all the while collecting data.
They could watch the GPS, listen to the mics, and watch the cameras, watch web activity, collect their contacts and model their networks, send out misinformation to herd them etc.

A little search will turn up a number of "jammers" while not legal in the USA I have often thought of getting one for places like the line at say Subway, or in one of my rare movie theater outings. They were pretty much trampled.

Then 10 of them went into the intersection and blocked the cable cars.

A line of 20 police motorcycles roared through them and they scattered.

Even better was when they tried to disrupt the Christmas tree lighting.

I swear I thought they were going to get lynched.

After about 10 minutes of these shenanigans, people had enough and just shoved the protestors aside and got on with shopping.

The problem with your statement is that the 1% is politicians. Democrat politicians mostly, with some RINO's. We're on the right working to deal with them.

And you don't even have a clue what the cause is for the things you protest against. You want more housing? Then protest CRA so that there is money to loan to people who are willing to pay it back.
