#OccupyOakland Protesters Threaten Reporter; Cameras Would Be Stolen, Broken If Media Enters Tent City

KGO reporter Amy Hollyfield reports that the protesters inhabiting the public square used by the Occupy Oakland protest threatened her and her news crew if they attempted to enter the rat-infested tent city. "They were telling us if we tried to take our cameras into the plaza and into the camp area they would take our cameras and break them."

This is the beginning stages of the violence Obama has been hoping for. This has been carefully planned, extremely well funded (Soros, SEIU) and is going to explode soon.

The grand goal? Martial Law, election suspension and Government control.

The truth is – #Occupy wants to keep the Alternative Media out – aka – Conservative Media. #Occupy knows the LSM will never report their debauchery. So, this is an attempt to keep main street from learning that communists have infiltrated the Obama Admin and are running amok on ordinary citizens.

EricBrodin   October 19th, 2011 - 9:38 am

I think it's time to break out the tear gas.

At what point do the police have an obligation to the tax payers and citizens of a city to remove people threatening violence?

triper57   October 19th, 2011 - 9:48 am

Aren't these tent cities on PUBLIC PROPERTY. That means the Public has access to the property. Call these people what they are: SQUATTERS; and move them.

BobSalem   October 19th, 2011 - 9:48 am

I dont suppose that the police have any tear gas they could use to get ride on this infestation!

"Okay occupiers you win! You all sleeping in tents for two months did it. The United States is now to be based on soclialist principles."

Is this what they expect to accomplish by sleeping in tents and smoking weed? They can sleep in tents for the remainder of their lives for all I care.

"The first step in community organization is community disorganization. The disruption of the present organization is the first step toward community organization. Present arrangements must be disorganized if they are to be displace by new patterns…. All change means disorganization of the old and organization of the new." p.116

BrownLabRanch   October 19th, 2011 - 9:54 am

That's right. All the while he's trying to put the Tea Party and this sh itbag movement into the same category, trying to paint them as similar. Obama may be a complete idiot, but he is 100% calculating in EVERY thing he does.

islegend   October 19th, 2011 - 9:59 am

Obama has planned this for years. Its part of the play-book. Why he is giving support to the movement, and pressuring cities with Federal reprisal if police attempt to move them out. When these people are given the order to turn violent by their SEIU taskmasters its going to get ugly until real Americans marshal to end it.

Correct. Remember Czar Van jones was quoted as saying that they were about to launch an "Arab Spring / American Autumn / October Offensive" of their own as a counter to the Tea Party? That was the beginning of the coordinated effort to pit their lemmings against the American middle class in a grand attempt to induce widespread violence across the country, therefore finding themselves in a position to "never let a good crisis go to waste", so to speak.

DontTreadOnMe   October 19th, 2011 - 10:21 am

R_Swift   October 19th, 2011 - 10:39 am

Looks like the honeymoon is over.

Ironhawk_86   October 19th, 2011 - 10:41 am

Ditto. Gangs of marauding thugs mugging everyone in sight in Oakland stopped being a newsworthy event long before I was born.

I grew up in SF and I'm not in any way arguing against its status as the capital of left-wing idiocy. But at least that side of the Bay has some redeeming qualities. Oakland is Mad Max come to life.

imsailing2   October 19th, 2011 - 10:45 am

Well, leave it to Oakland. If it's gonna get ugly, smelly, violent, infested, and insane, it's gonna happen first in Oakland. Remember this is how a lot of these people live in their regular lives from day to day.

I love the Bay Area…have a big soft spot for it since I was born there (not in Oakland, but another part of the Bay Area), lived there for 7 years & have family that still live there, but I'm so glad my parents were smart enough to raise me somewhere else even though they had grown up there.

Many of these people have never lived a day in their lives out of the system. All they know is government taking care of them and that the guy with the biggest gun wins. Socialism and anarchy is normal every day life to them. There is a LOT of mental illness.

canadianlady2   October 19th, 2011 - 10:45 am

I wonder how police forces across America are viewing this. Surely to God they must see what's going on here. When the violence starts, the police will be vilified.

Do you realize how geographically huge, and how diverse CA is? Oakland is Oakland and always has been; this has little impact on the rest of the state. I live 40 miles from Oakland and this is a big yawn for me.

I was even just in Oakland on Saturday for my son's football game and it wasn't a big deal. Apparently, I was just 2 miles from the action where Danny Glover had just been to hype up the troops! I dropped my son off at his weigh in's 2 hours early and went a block up the street to get lunch and kill an hour.

If people are worried about it, I would just advise to avoid planning flights coming in or out of Oakland airport & arrive at SF or Sacramento instead.

Yeah, there isn't any question Ubama is a dead Marxist walking; question is, will we nominate a Republican who will unravel his disgusting Un-American agenda, not merely tinker around the edges? That's what I see from Romney, who will run like a scared dog the first time the corrupt leftwing media accuses him of being "mean."

As for Olbermann, his ratings are down because his core audience is is disbursed throughout the streets of America, krapping all over cop cars, smoking dope, attacking cops, dumping garbage in bank offices, and demanding more of other people's property.

HURRICANEPAUL   October 19th, 2011 - 11:55 am

These "protesters"…THEY are what 'Liberal Failure' looks like

I'd like to see one of the "protesters" get SOME of them in the crowd to "donate" their money into a pot…and then the people running the show begin to REDISTRIBUTE that 'wealth' to ALL of the people in the crowd so that everyone gets a "fair share of the wealth" that was collected.

And they would do this every hour on the hour.

Every hour…they would ask those in the crowd who have the "wealth" to step forward to "share" their wealth with ALL of those in the crowd who are broke, so that everyone has the exact same "share" of the wealth.

How long would it take for those people who are GIVING their money to see that they are paying too much and they just go away?

Two or three times is my guess.

imsailing2   October 19th, 2011 - 12:02 pm

The police are smart enough not to go in there and start something. Unless these people start to get violent on their own, the best thing to do is let this fizzle out.
The police and these particular people of Oakland have the worst relationship of any in the country. If the police go in there & start throwing weight around it would be like pouring gasoline on a little flame. They are smarter to let the flame flicker for a while and just try to keep it from getting enough oxygen.
One wrong move from the City of Oakland or their police department will turn this into a full blown riot, which will spread into sympathy riots with these groups all over the country….which is exactly what the left wants.
