We would require a massive amount of green energy production in order to just keep up with present energy consumption. Green solutions are expensive, and this country is broke. Unless we put offshore windmill farms along the entire shore line, plus the entire desert of Arizona in solar, plus dam every river, we cannot generate enough energy for present consumption, let alone for future consumption with population growth and plug-in cars. It simply cannot be done. Salazar is just another libtard big on dreams, and completely disconnected from the logistics of reality.

Oil, coal and gas are all "organic" and "natural" commodities, produced by the good ol' earth we all live on, which in turn was made by G-D, the footstool's wise provider of all things necessary for man's survival, flourishing, and happiness. We've also been given the technological know-how to create other, synthetic, forms of green energy, too, like electrical and nuclear power, (which also is used to create electrical energy).

Wind and solar both are fraught with various difficulties, rendering them too expensive to be efficient. Let Ken and the libs run their cars and trucks with hamsters running on wheels in the engine compartment to generate enough juice from solar panels on the roof if they like. Those of us with brains will continue to power our American economy with the clean, green energy supplies of oil, coal and natural gas, that G-D in His infinite wisdom gave to us to use. Maybe in a couple hundred years, scientists will figure out how to harness cold fusion or nuclear technology in such a way to run our vehicles.
