Obama’s Campaign Manager Slams Palin as ‘Pied Piper in Republican Politics’

Politico: David Plouffe added that Palin, who endorsed the conservative candidate over the Republican, a move that inspired numerous other Republicans to jump the party’s ship, is “kind of playing the role of pied piper in Republican politics, which I’m quite comfortable with – basically hanging a ‘moderates need not apply’ sign.â€

I guess we can sum up the Obama camp’s opinion of SP in one word:

Effective!

Obama's now running for "Pres for Life"   November 1st, 2009 - 12:21 pm

stop campaigning and WORK for a change you bunch of lazy criminals!

Stegabot   November 1st, 2009 - 12:34 pm

If all they say about Sarah is true, that she is dumb, a quitter, a political failure, a liar and manipulator and a political has been. The most logical response to her should have been to ignore her like what the Conservatives did to John Kerry after 2004. But since Obama , the Democratic Party and their sycophants in the media, academia and among the citizenry could not stop their personal attacks, lies and malice against her person. It shows to all the world to see, that they fear her and dread her. For no amount of excuses could explain why they continue to attack her.

pepito cojones   November 1st, 2009 - 12:43 pm

This Plouffe character is the same doofus that Anita “duntz” Dunn was bragging about in an interview where she claims to have manipulated that media with Obama propaganda from this imbecile, who still thinks he’s campaigning for on behalf of Obama’s evil empire… Yes, that’s correct, the NEW AMERICAN EVIL EMPIRE HAS ARRIVED!!!

Meanwhile, like Fox News, these Obamabots are still promoting the gorgeous Governor Palin popularity, higher than ever…

Lisa B.   November 1st, 2009 - 12:44 pm

Dream on punk. The libs are going to get their *sses kicked on down the road in 2010, and then the head puke will be ridden off on a rail. You better start packing you freaking bunch of morons, you are on your way out!!

RedCarolina   November 1st, 2009 - 12:54 pm

thanks Breitbart for all this good entertainment coming from the laughable “dream team” in the White House! haha! it’s just a fun day, from Rush’s interview, to Val’s whine-fest about conservatives — nice follow up to my celebrating Deded’s withdrawal from NY23!!

the O team should keep Breitbart in business for the next 3 years!

Tim   November 1st, 2009 - 12:57 pm

lol…it’s funny now that they see Palin start rising to the top of the political scene and gaining more and more support they start attacking her.
Problem is these attacks are continually going to have less and less impact until every attack on her will just make it look worse for them.

They are scared to death of her…she is there biggest threat by far and there attacks on her will be ruthless.

Not that many folks!…certainly not as many as you!!…they just steal elections and win. You play fair…you lose…again…

He claimed the war in Iraq was lost and voted against the Surge back then too. Now he Waffles for Months while our Troops Die from Lack of Support! Obama is Clueless and far from being a real leader!

This Smarmy Political Hack and his ACORN-loving Boss are going to have a Come-To-Jesus-Moment this coming Tuesday when Republicans take all three elections. And there’s more to come in 2010 and 2012. Time to get rid of these subversive fools and send them back to the same Chicago Cesspool they crawled out of.

The child poser/usurper squatter in The White House, Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama, MMMM… MMMM… MMMMMMMMM……, still has his brain dead lemmings come out to misrepresent facts and to suggest that “moderates need not apply” …… In point of fact, it is clearly understood and known by the brain dead mouthpiece for the Imbecile-In-Chief that the true message is that “if you want to follow MAOISTS, MARXISTS, or flat out SOCIALISTS, then follow the current Democrat Party”. On the other hand, if you believe in the U. S. Constitution and The Republic and do not think that the Constitution is simply an anachronism, then you should vote for conservative members. Unfortunately at present, Newt, Huckabee, Romney as well as The Republican Party (thanks to Pete Sessions, Chairman of the NRCC, and Guy Harrison, Executive Director of the NRCC) which spent $900,000.00 to help Dede Scozzafava a smart voter has to clearly determine for themselves if a candidate, even one promoted by Republicans, is WORTHY of a vote. In my view Barry Obama simply went to Dover to silently stand in solidarity with the FIFTY-SEVEN (57) STATES which he truly honors, as illustrated by his bowing and scraping before the Sowdi Arabian Monarch. Barry has not followed the recommendations of his own commanders in the field. Barry Obama is simply mentally dancing on the graves of the soldiers who were shipped into Dover. No foul language here; simply a whole lot of truth.

Jack Kemp II   November 1st, 2009 - 5:37 pm

8 years of republican rule was a catastrophic failure. dubya couldn’t string a coherent sentence (much less a thought) together. does being angry make you people happy? is that it? you need to calm down. sarah palin was an embarrassing hick who frightened anyone with a brain. republicans urgently need another jack kemp or a reagan. someone who appeals to normal folk. a marketable person with some appealing characteristics. is that so hard to grasp?

Veritas   November 1st, 2009 - 6:50 pm

Is it just me or what? I can’t see the video on this story.

Mike   November 1st, 2009 - 7:03 pm

David Plouffe continues the Obama legacy of attacking its critics, whether that be Sarah Palin, or Edmunds.com, or the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), law enforcement in Pennsylvania, Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Fox News Network, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, former Vice President Dick Cheney, the Associated Press, Rush Limbaugh, ad infinitum it seems… The continuing, and more of the same, Chicago style gang land strong arm tactics more akin to Communist Russia under current dictator Vladimir Putin than what a reputable and highly respected United States presidential administration normally is thought to be eh? And why is that? Why is this administration so hell bent on silencing the opposition and resorting to gutter style politics? The way I see it, the Obama administration knows they’re in “deep deep” trouble and they are resorting to an “anything goes” approach to anyone and everyone that they see as a “threat” to their own survival. That’s why they’re attacking the opposition! They are basically grasping at straws where everywhere they turn around and look = they see things going from bad to worse. Whether in Afghanistan, the U.S. economy, Cap & TAX opposition, Government RUN Health Care opposition, double digit unemployment or Obama’s humiliating defeat in Denmark trying to gain the Chicago 2016 Olympics, or his undeserved Nobel peace prize, or whether his many campaign promises that were either outright lies and/or hypocritical in nature. When you have a purported President of the United States doing everything in his power (and spending vast amounts of his own money) trying to keep secret is historical records – whether his original long form birth certificate or his Harvard law school academic records etc.. is it then any wonder why Obama himself and/or the cronies in his administration are perceived by the general population as either “devious”, “heavy handed”, “deceptive”, “obnoxious”, “elitist” and/or “suspect” as to their alleged ability to run anything, let alone the United States of America? These are Socialists propagating Socialism/Marxism. They are not out to make America a better Country in my humble opinion. Their primary goal, in my opinion, is for a Government style takeover of the United States of America; and where Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi’s Health Care Plan is probably first and foremost the beginning(s) of that take-over process. The liberal Democrats currently in office are NOT about partisanship at all, as you well know. Nancy Pelosi made it very clear when Obama became President and the Dems took over Congress: “We won, and we will do it ‘OUR’ way”. And look where it has gotten them. The American people are revolting and rising up! The American people are fighting back! The American people know a “lemon” when they get one! It doesn’t matter whether Obama is black, white, red, or brown – even though the mainstream media tries to portray it otherwise. It is his policies stupid!! ;) NOT his color. NOT his education. NOT his feel good personality. Not his athletics. Not his “weak knees”. Not his backbone or ‘lack’ thereof. HIS POLICIES!! HIS POLICIES STINK!! And if you ask me, the American people are simply trying to do their best to get rid of the stink in Washington and across the entire Country! By voting in candidates that will have the American people’s interests at heart and will listen to them when they speak, and candidate(s) that will also provide a “road to recovery” for our Country both fiscally and morally, so that our public servants will be just that – public “servants” of the American people in good faith, and not those trying to “lord” it over them by heavy handed and unethical means or trying to suppress dissent like Obama and his cronies in the White House are currently trying to do. Or by bankrupting our current free market based economy and entrepreneurial driven spirit and replacing it with Socialism/Marxism and a people who will be government “dependent” and where red ink is seen as far as the eye can see and beyond – like the Obama administration is trying to get away with, with their Public Option(death of quality health)Care Bill and Cap & TAX, and their duck and RUN strategy in Afghanistan, etc., etc., etc., etc.. I hope to God that the American people are indeed smarter than this White House administration is making them out to be and they will continue to resist and withstand this administration’s attempt to take the United States of America along with its Red White and Blue, and try to change it instead into “AmeriKA” ‘land of disenchantment’ and the Hammer & Sickle.

Jack Kemp II   November 1st, 2009 - 7:50 pm

Exhibit A: See Mike’s comment above. the length of it alone screams “crazy”. who could read that?

America needs a viable opposition party. Ergo the Republican party has to start thinking about winning over people who don’t necessarily share all your beliefs. The republican party needs to make friends. and being angry about everything all the time simply isn’t appealing. how could it be?

David Plouffe, Douchebagger Extraordinaire.

Dadknows   November 1st, 2009 - 8:47 pm

The attacks continue, is it because White House neo-coms and their media accomplices are scared s—less of SP and a conservative backlash? Watch them use out tax dollars to have their Acorn zombies fill out fraudulent voter registrations and to mark absentee ballots.

Whatwhatwhat   November 1st, 2009 - 9:08 pm

True. My republican friends now find that they can’t go along with the nutty right wing.

The moderates can either vote for the Democrat or stay home. Either way, it works for me.

Conservative? Tired of these Obamanation creeps? Want to make sure the Republican Party offers up real conservative candidates and conservative solutions.
Want to DO SOMETHING to make that happen. Are you willing to spend about an hour or so a month?
Then become a Republican Party precinct committeeman. Conservatives can take over the Party because HALF the voting positions within the Party are unfilled.
Go here to learn more and then DO SOMETHING:

Don't Drink the Kool Aid   November 1st, 2009 - 10:01 pm

Can you believe Scozzafava…turncoat…typical liberal in Repbulican clothing. She’s lied for years, just like our leader, and now that she’s been uncovered, she’s turns into a cry baby. God Bless Mrs. Palin and Mr. Hoffmann. As far as this idot Plouffe….he’s right in a way. If the state run media starts reporting and spreading the FOX word, the Democrats are in big trouble. Something tells me they already are in touble. Not one DEM I know was expecting anything like Obama. No sane persons wants this country destroyed.

STRIDER   November 1st, 2009 - 10:09 pm

You will never learn!!! All big media will continue to make “O” look like a success even under the bubbling explosion of rejection that will erupt VERY SOON!

Terri   November 1st, 2009 - 10:31 pm

Democrats look backwards to avoid discussing current issues and the Dems continued failures to address the citizen’s needs and real issues. Sure, Obama/Biden ticket won – we all know that, so why are Dems still focused on the Dem’s prior negative messages. Why does Plouffe seem like such a women hater?

Scrounger   November 1st, 2009 - 11:09 pm

Blah, blah, blah…….change the course, win in Afghanistan…..quit moaning about Glenn Beck, Rush or whomever, lead the country you danged fool! You got the job now do something with it, quit campaigning, quit complaining, you’re not a community organizer anymore, Mr. President, quit sending out your lapdogs to do your dirty work.

Get to the issues at hand…..btw no public option on your healthcare garbage bill. It’s a waste of trees. Put all the copies of your healthcare bill with recyclcers and let them make toilet paper out of it, that’s where it belongs anyway, in the sewer.

NY 23rd and VA is just the start. The 2010 primaries are the next chance for voters to be heard. So far, the GOP leaders still don’t seem to “get it”. There’s still time before the 2010 general election.

http://www.TeaMoney.ning.com
We need to restore respect for independent voters – not party leaders or PACs enjoying the chance to play power games and inflict their ideas on Americans with other people’s money. It/s time to restore the idea of limited government and real accountability.

Senior Advisor   November 2nd, 2009 - 1:28 am

Palin excited the conservative base. Finally a politician who gets it. The Dems freaked out and she was attacked like no other vice presidential candidate in modern times. The liberal press demonized every aspect of her career and life. Dems want you to think that the conservative movement in this country has some connection to the Republican Party. It doesn’t! The Republicans are now the new liberals… the Liberals are full blown socialists lost in the wonders of Mao…Conservatives and moderates are fed up with party politics and now we’re voting our principals. Right now I’m cheering the Blue dogs and every other sane politcian with the fortitude to say “NO” to ” fundamentally transforming this country” into a socialist state. Hell President Obama was smart enought to to convince the voters that he was going to be politicaly moderate and fiscally responsible. To bad he lied and now the jig is up. Palin and other patriots are about to clean up this mess up either inside their parties or as independents. The voters are awake and the game is about to change. Thank God

Sarah Palin, responding to a question from a heckler about whether she likes rim jobs or takes it up the rectum, bounced up, jumped him and sucked his pecker so hard that the back of her head blew off. They repaired it quickly with gaffer tape and marking pens. The smile, which never left her face, even when comatose, is found to be of the permanent variety and is believed to be from the aerospace industry; helicopter shell material, the same stuff that Kaman industries uses in its Ovation guitar line.

AAA   November 2nd, 2009 - 12:16 pm

Jack Kemp II, you’re an idiot. Is that Bushs fault too.

Todd   November 2nd, 2009 - 12:37 pm

LMAO.. The trolls that come out when Palin is mentioned is just amazing, she’s the equivalent of holy water against the vampires.

The reason Palin is effective my leftist trolls is that she is genuine and it shines through, she just doesnt mouth the words to appease an audience. Your lord and savior B-Daddy is a complete imposter and his little svengali routine is wearing thin on all but the stupidest among you.

The left so badly want’s Republicans to fall back into the Bush period where they were proponents of the “Not quite as big as the democracts government” because in that mode they can easily be taken down.

The problem the leftist face is the same one when Regan came onto the scene, the left’s policies are destructive and can only be hidden for so long before the average american catches on, they are not that bright, but they are not as dumb as the left always assumes.

The solution will be similar, and all the screeching and hand waving and complete none-sense of the left won’t change it, the differnce this time is that the country will be so nearly destroyed that that backlash will be far fiercer than the typical leftist imagines, I suspect jail time for more than few once everything is out in the open.

Todd   November 2nd, 2009 - 12:49 pm

I always enjoy the leftist half wits talking about the past, it’s a past the never existed, but even if you wer accurate in your so called “assesments” are any of you ever going to start living in the present?

You have the white house, you have the senate, you have the congress, there is not a thing other than vocal opposition that we have in our favor, unless you count that pesky document called the constituion, and yet you still whine about the past and claim we are “Stopping” you from carrying out your final solution, it’s pathetic.

The “It was all george bushes fault” is getting less and less effective the farther away the present becomes from the time of his administration and it’s already falling on deaf ears, even some of your more left leaning supporters are saying “Enough” but I guess it’s easier than admiting your fools.

Leaving out the fact that your savior B-Daddy voted “Yes” or “Present” on all the things you say were the problem during is vacation in the senata, leaving aside the fact that YOU controlled both houses during the last 2 years that led to finanical disaster, leaving aside the fact that the housing collapse was a direct result of loans made to derlicts under threat from the left, leaving aside all of that you still have to start taking responsiblity for your actions.

Let me rephrase that, you will be MADE to take responsibility for your actions in 2010, and in 2012 both you and the RINOTards will be thinking twice before trying to pull this kind of theft again.

On the upside both Barrack and Michelle will look fabulous in orange, and she will have plenty of time to keep her arms toned when is working out in the “Yard”

LMAO

scott   November 2nd, 2009 - 2:36 pm

Just look at who the liberals spend the most time criticizing. THAT is who they’re most afraid of.
Conservatives need to stick to their principles and RUN on them, full speed ahead. Don’t let liberals define
who Conservatives are to the American people. Conservatives need to stop worrying about politics and start
saying what they believe. MOST of America is NOT liberal. 1/3 are conservative and 1/3 is open to suggestion.
Conservatives need to be aggressive in “suggesting” the right things. Draw contrasts with liberal policies, do
not try to emulate them. Show people there IS another way, the conservative way. “The Middle” is in the middle
because they don’t know exactly what they think. Conservatives should be helping them to consolidate their
beliefs into action, hopefully to become aware of the success of this country in following conservative
principles, and translate that into votes for conservatives. In short, DON’T RUN FROM CONSERVATISM. EMBRACE
IT!

@AAA, until the republicans return to reality — and that includes acknowledging the fact that they had their chance and blew it with GWB — the GOP will remain a collection of angry white folks shouting in the wilderness. this site being an excellent example of the that.

the republican party needs to get a new act. a marketable one. and stop talking to itself, or get marginalized even more so than it is today.

George W Bush’s tenure was a catastrophic failure. Not just merely mediocre, or incompetent. it was a monumental fail on every front. nothing went right. that’s the track record you’re selling? good luck with that.
