My Journo-trash sources tell me that censorship of the following economic realities has also occurred at the highest levels of the MSM: Pushing 30 million new people into the health care system will vastly increase demand but without any new supply of services or competition, it will result in vastly higher costs anyway — even without the fake numbers already given.

None of the women knew about the others. But besides their similar narratives, they had something else in common: Their health insurance carriers were subsidiaries of WellPoint, which has 33.7 million policyholders — more than any other health insurance company in the United States.
The women all paid their premiums on time. Before they fell ill, none had any problems with their insurance. Initially, they believed their policies had been canceled by mistake.
They had no idea that WellPoint was using a computer algorithm that automatically targeted them and every other policyholder recently diagnosed with breast cancer. The software triggered an immediate fraud investigation, as the company searched for some pretext to drop their policies, according to government regulators and investigators.
Once the women were singled out, they say, the insurer then canceled their policies based on either erroneous or flimsy information. WellPoint declined to comment on the women’s specific cases without a signed waiver from them, citing privacy laws”.

There is a lot more people in the government (specifically that either are in charge or part of the health care system) that affect the the actual carrying out of the bill. If we assume there is a certain number of corrupt people in america doesn’t it make sense that the more people affecting the health care system the more likely the same thing will happen. I agree with you that private health care is not perfect and DEFINITELY is not adequate for the US population but IT is the lesser of two evils. Especially considering the lack of attention to detail that seems to characterize the senate and congress. But I too agree that people should voice legitimate reasons for why they dislike or like someone. Not just because their name sounds like Osama.

I am also not comfortable with the government totally taking over health care. But the private sector has clearly demonstrated repeatedly that they are not capable of do so, either. The idea that you can construct a thriving business around the health of individuals is flawed since you have to exclude those who need health care the most (the sick) to turn a profit. In short, what we have is no good and where we are going may be too far. It’s unfortunate that Republicans did not take on this issue earlier when they had a chance and come up with some sort of intermediate solution. But the Devil is in the details and perhaps compromises and reforms can still be reached.
