Religious freedom is a constitutional right, & the tenants of this proposed Mosque being in the city of New York for 20 plus years, have the right to build this Mosque blocks from ground zero. I'm curious how the 'Mosque Supporters,' or those of their political ilk would react if a corporation were to do something similar. For instance, suppose a piece of commercial property were to become available near say………Robinson Ave and 4th street……this is about a block away from the Oklahoma City Bombing memorial. What would the reaction be if Ryder Truck company were to buy it with the plan to set up a large truck depot? This has nothing to do with the freedom of religion. It has to do with where the mosque will be built. All houses of religion have to take into consideration the neighborhood they will be serving. The neighborhood in the Ground Zero area is not conducive to what the mosque wants to accomplish. The mosque should not be built in a community that will be hurt by its presence.

There are zoning laws, there is citizen impact, there is respect for tradition and the community.

Constitution does not require unrestricted building zones. The vote is discretionary. Like choosing a jury. Lawyers are free to exclude any potential jurist with no explanation whatsoever. You are confused. This case is similar to the LDS church wanting to build an expanded visitor center in downtown Salt Lake City. It was up to a discretionary city council vote. There was no constitutionally correct answer. If the council voted either yes or no either answer was constitutional.

That's how I found Breitbart's page. They would leave certain news articles featured on top, and other articles less favorable to the liberal establishment's needs of the moment would disappear to the bottom of the stack after a brief appearance, at night or some other time when traffic was low. MSN, and Google were even worse. When did Yahoo ever bring back reader comments for the articles?
