We should help the poor and I don’t need the government to “nudge” me in that direction. This is where the social gospel is in error. It wouldn’t come from my heart if it were mandated that I must; through the distribution of wealth. You will also note that in the Word, that God rewards those who are productive, and takes away from the lazy and slothful and gives it to those who are productive. Matthew 25:28.
