Watch CBS News Videos Online

"You know, that was actually probably the most emotional speech that I've made, in terms of how I felt about it. Because I was looking out over a group of cadets, some of whom were gonna be deployed in Afghanistan. And potentially some might not come back."

America…this is what he calls emotion?

I have seen more emotion from a clam!

This man does not have an emotion in his body! He is about as cold and callous as a dictator wanna be comes!

Keep trying…Bilderberg Bush-Obama…you also get an “absent” in showing emotions!

Re: Obama on West Point: ‘Probably the Most Emotional Speech That I’ve Made’

Yeah, sure Obama…like we believe you, you fu**ing liar.
Hey Obama, you had no problem using West Point as a photo-op for your schizo speech.
And now you have no problem telling how ‘choked up’ you got making that speech…TMI!
But you were too busy to attend the Army vs Navy Game…the first time in 110 years a US president missed it.

PS- I hear you graded yourself “a solid B+” that you’ll change to an “A-” if/when your healthcare bill passes. Well, I’m going to grade your performance thus far and give you an “F” as in “F*ck you Obama!”

BTW, your healthcare bill WILL create jobs…FOR THE GRAVEDIGGERS!

Right. Sure. Of course.

The most emotional speech you ever gave was the one you did at that SEIU party claiming that you’re a community organizer and everything you do, you do it with SEIU, you creepy tallywacker.

SteveZ71   December 14th, 2009 - 5:49 pm

MagicMan   December 14th, 2009 - 6:07 pm

“You know, that was actually probably the most emotional speech that I’ve made, in terms of how I felt about it …”

That is because he didn’t believe what he was saying through the half that the ‘conservative’ talking-heads gave him credit for afterward.

To that fact, these are the most telling quotes:

“… That there’s unfinished business. And, you know, I think that one of the mistakes that was made over the last eight years is for us to have a triumphant sense about war …”

Exactly what other “sense about war” SHOULD we, and most importantly those young cadets and their C.O.s sitting there … AND those troops currently serving in the war(s) have about war? If their CiC cannot rally the troops/military to have a ‘triumphant sense about war’ they HAVE NO GOAL in war and will die and lose.

This guy couldn’t coach a sports team, pro or pee-wee, for petessakes!

“… This is a tough business. And there are tough costs to it …”

Yeah, I beleive somewhere in the 8 years Obama is so fond of pointing out as to blame for his current job Pres. GW Bush pointed out this new beast of war was not going to be easy … it would be a long hard fight with many lives lost. For all Obama’s bloated sense of ‘mopping-up’ of the last administration he seems to be conveniently washing his hands of the most important job of POTUS (a job he sooo wanted), and that is CiC of our military … war or no war.

He’s not the first POTUS/CiC to “inherit” a war he didn’t start. And I don’t seem to recall (although I was a kid) Pres. Nixon blaming JFK or LBJ for Vietnam when HE took over and had to fight that war. Truman finished the last half of FDR’s war with two big-bangs, as I recall …

This man is petty at best, extremely dangerous for us and more importantly our military at worse.

Dave   December 14th, 2009 - 6:28 pm

Give this guy two turntables and a microphone, because this guy can spin!

MagicMan   December 14th, 2009 - 6:29 pm

I don’t wanna grow up, I’m a Toys-R-Us CiC

roger   December 14th, 2009 - 6:37 pm

At least he is being honest. He looked fearful and uncertain. Those are emotions right????

MagicMan   December 14th, 2009 - 6:40 pm

roger -

Yep, I am completely certain those sitting in front of him at West Point, and those watching from TVs in Iraq and A-stan saw that too.

I’m a “civvie” and I saw it. I can only imagine what those guys/gals thought about it.

Obama aka Mr. Chicken   December 14th, 2009 - 6:40 pm

This idiot is the Complainer in Chief… Whatta’ douchbag!!

Z06   December 14th, 2009 - 7:02 pm

Let me predict BARRY OBAMAO’S future. The toughest speech he will even give is his concession speech on election night November 2012.

Consrvativ_KDH   December 14th, 2009 - 11:39 pm

Emotional?

Yeah, if your emotions are apathetic ambivalence leavened with deceit and haughty arrogance.

Calvin&Hobbes   December 15th, 2009 - 12:32 am

I’ll bet he got pretty emotional, when he tried to hold back his feels of contempt and hatred towards these young Cadets and what they stand for.

couch potato   December 15th, 2009 - 9:23 am
