Senator McCain is not talking about elections, he’s talking about running a government. The US Constitution was set up Congress in mind to balance the concerns of the citizens by establishing the House and the concerns of the State legislatures (local government)by establishing the Senate. The primary purpose of the Senate is to ensure the rights of States are properly represented – not the political will of a party. That’s why a strict procedure lies in place in the Senate (and it use to be higher than 60 votes) to ensure simple majorities don’t override State rights and limit the role of Federal government. Let simple majorities rule at the State level, but at the Federal level it should never by easy.

Elections matter: independent, gullible, innocent, and hopeful people PLUS the ill-informed, lazy and ‘entitled’ elected this man. He is about to grab 1/6 of America’s for his Party, he will put the Government in Control of you Healthcare, and he will use IRS to bring you into submission.
