OOPS sorry, I forgot, this is an Islamic country, there are no hate crime laws, only Blasphemy laws where non believers are concerned. In many Islamic countries the penalty for Blasphemy is death. Death by cruel and inhumane methods such as stoning in a public square- not by needle while you are asleep.
Point is, that no matter if the POTUS is black, white, yellow, or purple, Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, or Independent; moveover, they could care less that the POTUS’s father and or relatives are Muslim, or if the POTUS lived and visited Islamic countries, etc. Domestic Politics have nothing to do with it, these people have their own agenda and want to harm us physically, emotionally, and economically in any way they can. Think about it when the next airline bomber hides his weapon in his anus, and instead of taking off your shoes, you have to disrobe, bend over, and get a rectal exam to board a plane.

The adage “war is hell” applies to Afghanistan, needless to say, and consequently there are instances where innocent people get killed unfortunately. If the Afghan’s are really serious about driving the Taliban and al-Qaeda out of their country then they need to show a little respect to the countries that have sent men and women in uniform there to do just that though. The number one reason Afghanistan is dragging its feet so much with their lackluster effort to rid their country of the Taliban and al-Qaeda is because the President of Afghanistan i.e. Hamid Karzai is “corrupt” beyond belief (all words no action) and his own country is taking the brunt of his mismanagement and corrupt deeds by the inefficiency it has produced in the war on terror there. Hamid Karzai is showing preferential treatment to Taliban and al-Qaeda warlords and his misguided “love” for the enemy is sending conflicting signals throughout the whole of Afghanistan and consequently the average citizens of Afghanistan are portraying the liberators as the enemy, instead of the other way around. It is truly unfortunate with all the corruption that is taking place in Afghanistan “from the top on down” and until the corruption is dealt with and eradicated, the greater the hindrance it will place on our troops and the troops that the U.N. has placed there. It is also truly unfortunate that Hamid Karzai was placed back into office on the heels of a “corrupt” election, and unless he does a complete turn around in his ethics and cleans up the corruption in his country (including his own) it will only go to prolong the war there unfortunately. Sad but true in my opinion.
