Where’s the thanking god for quality medical professionals who were able to treat their kid immediately? OBAMA TO NOMINATE ANEW CZAR: BC CZAR, ROBERT BAUER

Obama may be using leftover campaign funds to stomp out eligibility lawsuits brought by Americans, as his campaign has paid more than $1 million to his top lawyer since the election.

According to Federal Election Commission records, Obama For America paid $688,316.42 to international law firm Perkins Coie between January and March 2009.

The campaign also compensated Perkins Coie for legal services between Oct. 16, 2008 and Dec. 31, 2008 — to the tune of $378,375.52.charlietune-11

Robert Bauer of Perkins Coie — top lawyer for Obama, Obama’s presidential campaign, the Democratic National Committee and Obama’s Organizing for America — is the same Washington, D.C., lawyer defending Obama in lawsuits challenging his eligibility to be president.

As WorldNewsDaily.com reported earlier, Bauer sent a letter to plaintiff Gregory Hollister, a retired Air Force colonel, of Hollister v. Soetoro, threatening sanctions if he doesn’t withdraw his appeal of the eligibility case that earlier was tossed by a district judge because the issue already had been “twittered.”

Bauer’s warning was dated April 3rd and delivered via letter to the plaintiff’s attorney, John D. Hemenway. It is not the first such warning issued. Lawyers trying to kill a similar California lawsuit filed on behalf of Ambassador Alan Keyes also said they would seek sanctions against the plaintiff’s attorneys in that case unless they left the issue of the president’s eligibility alone.

“For the reasons stated in Judge Robertson’s ruling, the suit is frivolous and should not be pursued,” Bauer’s letter warned. “Should you decline to withdraw this frivolous appeal, please be informed that we intend to pursue sanctions, including costs, expenses and attorneys’ fees, pursuant to Federal Rule of Appellate Procedure 38 and D.C. Circuit Rule 38.”

Most children, who’ve had a very high fever, have been screened for meningitis. My little brother was 5 years old when he had his spinal tap. My brother did not have meningitis, just a severe flu. We were a middle class family. My father worked hard at an oil refinery and had insurance through his employer. He also went to college, while my mother tended to the homestead. Then, my mother went to school and became a nurse. Hear that liberals? They WORKED for their health coverage, their home, their family, etc. How ’bout that. What a novel concept.

I oppose Obama as much as anyone (a lot), but this shows Obama forgot the medical diagnosis was changed, so he’s guilty of bad memory and/or not being as attentive a parent as he might have been, which is fairly common.

Sadly, my own father has forgotten over and over again for years a serious medical condition I once had that it seems to me any father would want to remember.

My dad DOES have a poor memory and he WAS an inattentive parent. So my comment is informed/biased by my own experiences.

*Let the patients have their own medical records, not the government.

*Incorporate a Feedback mechanism Report Form for Patient Input every time we use the Medical system.

*Stop the ridiculous and costly practice of forcing a patient to FIRST see a G.P. DOCTOR *before* they are allowed to see a SPECIALIST. Let us call the specialist ourselves and get in to see the specialist instead of adding to extra cost and delays by insisting on a REFERRAL from a General Practitioner before we can see a cardiologist or kidney doctor or eye surgeon.

*Institute a public DOCTOR SCORECARD WEBSITE where patients can SCORE a doctor or other health practitioner, to keep the QUALITY of the medical care professionals high & the practice honest.

*Force all doctors and insurance companies to process claims within THIRTY DAYS of the procedure/office visit. Why should it take 6 or 9 months to process a friggin’ doctor visit claim??

*Plenty of ideas that individual patients/American taxpayers could provide to Government as ways to cut costs and make medical care more efficient…
