jak   July 23rd, 2009 - 3:24 pm

keep failing obama. It’s good for America.

johne   July 23rd, 2009 - 3:29 pm

I want – I want – I want You know what I what Obama – I want you and your policies to fail. I want you and all your soldiers to fail. I want all you liberal buddies to fail, and I want it now, not by the end of the year.

ohbraindead   July 23rd, 2009 - 3:33 pm

under the obamacare, should you have the misfortune of having a love one in a hospital on life support, obama will have the right to unplugged life support to cut costs. it will not be a decision that the next of kin of the patient will be able to make as it is now!

Hickok   July 23rd, 2009 - 3:34 pm

Obama met with Pelousy, Hairy Reid and some other libloons to work out this delay. They all concurred that a vast majority of Americans were not comfortable with the plan as currently constructed. They agreed to a series of 5 meetings this summer to absolutely and positively perfect the bullsh*t, lies, obfuscation, pettifogging so that the bill could be more palatable to morons.

Airwick   July 23rd, 2009 - 3:34 pm

The system that we have now is a mess and not sustainable. Reform is essential. I do not agree with all of his proposals and don’t think that we need to rush into major changes without careful consideration but at least he has pressed the issue so that everyone is forced to look at it. Now let’s work something out.

CommonSense   July 23rd, 2009 - 3:36 pm

Next he’ll be apologizing for calling the police stupid and back peddling on that too – this guy is an arogant empty suit.
Even if I didn’t agree with him – I could atleast respect him for standing by his own word – he’s a loser.

Barack To The Ol' Drawing Board   July 23rd, 2009 - 3:37 pm

The end of this year will be Winter, not Fall. Oy Vey already!

Larse   July 23rd, 2009 - 3:41 pm

Thank you Eileen for taking time to post often.

Airwick   July 23rd, 2009 - 3:46 pm

Barack to…,
The Federal fiscal calendar ends September 30, not December 31st. That is probably what he was referencing.

Sheep no. 37246565   July 23rd, 2009 - 3:48 pm

Thank you, dear leader, for telling us its OKAY to wait on the health care bill. Here, I thought the crisis was so bad that the world would explode if your health care bill didn’t go into legislation before August but apparently now the world won’t explode. That is good to know.

here ya go   July 23rd, 2009 - 3:49 pm

The FUNNIEST THING about healthcare reform — if you listened to our WONDERFUL PRESIDENT OBAMA at all last night — is that he clearly identified ALL THE REPUBLICAN CONTRIBUTIONS to his REFORM!!

That’s right, GOP freaks!

Your VERY OWN, incredible GOP leaders contributed to, approved of, and are pushing through, domestic C-H-A-N-G-E in hospitalization.

Sorry Obama is merely saving YOU money –

It’s not a war chest…sorry – we all know WAR gets you Grand Old People very excited…because war is so nostalgic – like a John Wayne movie in black-and-white. (Y’know…the GOP “good old days” when you still put butter on a burn – and blacks couldn’t vote.)

Republicans love old ways!

That’s why Republicans are NOT relevant anymore – and very few remain!

Barack To The Ol' Drawing Board   July 23rd, 2009 - 3:54 pm

Airwick July 23rd, 2009 – 3:46 pm

“Barack to…,
The Federal fiscal calendar ends September 30, not December 31st. That is probably what he was referencing.”

Yea…uh…this is a guy that though there were 57 states, so I don’t think he’s too clear on September 30.

Norm   July 23rd, 2009 - 3:54 pm

Well here’s what he just said:

I want that bill to get out of the committees
I want that bill to go to the floor
I want that bill to be reconciled between the house and the senate
And then I want to sign A bill.
I want it done by the end of the year
I want it done by the fall.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen a LEFTO proceed systematically a b c, so he must have learned something while sitting in the Illinois senate voting “present”

He couldn’t quite make a b c d e because he doesn’t know the difference between the end of the year and the fall.

But that’s all right, they can’t teach you everything at HARVARD UNIVERSITY.

Larse   July 23rd, 2009 - 4:02 pm

Airwick is right. They need to take the time it takes to get it right. But not to delay it for politics like the GOP wants, or rush it like some in the Democratic party want. It needs to be done fast, but not too fast.

kmichaels   July 23rd, 2009 - 4:06 pm

Leave it to idiots like Larse and Airwick to assume that making everything more expensive, less choice, more government control and less freedom is preferable to not doing anything. Republicans for decades have correctly stated that one solution is to get rid of very expensive wasted lawsuits, etc, that add huge amounts to the cost. Secondly, we have not even correctly identified the real problems and come up with logical solutions that meet the problems. Larse and Airwick are simpleminded drones that love Obama regardless of how stupid he is. Larse and Airwick are fools, known to one and all, and seem to have a wasted life in general.

kmichaels   July 23rd, 2009 - 4:09 pm

For those idiot leftist trolls fools and liars saying republicans are not relevant. Latest polls show that there are twice as many conservatives as there are liberals. Go figure. I guess relevance is in the eye of the beholder. For me, a person like Larse and Airwick that lie their drooling arses off daily are irrelevant, in that they seem to have to lie in order to prop themselves up. I like a more well balanced person that simply sticks with facts and does not need to make up crap in order to look better.

kmichaels   July 23rd, 2009 - 4:13 pm

I love pointing out the common stupidity of the average Obama supporter. Lets look at one of these morons in “here ya go” … here is what bozo posted …

“The FUNNIEST THING about healthcare reform — if you listened to our WONDERFUL PRESIDENT OBAMA at all last night — is that he clearly identified ALL THE REPUBLICAN CONTRIBUTIONS to his REFORM That’s right, GOP freaks Your VERY OWN, incredible GOP leaders contributed to, approved of, and are pushing through, domestic C-H-A-N-G-E in hospitalization.”r

One simple question then comes to mind. If all the rep leaders are supporting Obama on this then why does he not have enough votes to get it passed right now? Buehler? Anyone? Yep, democrats really are that stupid, and more.

Don’t think GOP is delaying anything due to politics. Your idiots have the majority in both houses. GOP is just trying to find logic in the process of your boys and girls trying to ram a stupid bill down the American Voters’ throats something that does not make any sense, and in fact NO ONE HAS READ THE d am ned thing!!!!!!

Eddie   July 23rd, 2009 - 4:27 pm

My God, what a bunch of losers we have in Washington!

dr jay   July 23rd, 2009 - 4:27 pm

i guess rahm couldnt break enough kneecaps for this one…..shucks.

dr jay   July 23rd, 2009 - 4:31 pm

this will now die on the vine as the old people’s lobby gets a goin here. they will be on their congress people about being rationed and votes do matter to these dirtbags in congress. healthcare wont be addressed for another 4 to 8 years. the unfunded mandates will however break our backs financially in the future.

Eileen for Freedom/Liberty   July 23rd, 2009 - 4:34 pm

Dear Old Larse…and thank you for commenting about my posts often!

So really who is ahead here? One who contributes thoughts and/or suggestions or one who just comments!

Do you know which category you are in Old Larse?

The latter!

Looking forward to your next comment on my next post!

Dom   July 23rd, 2009 - 4:42 pm

Sad to say the old guy cheering behind wouldn’t even be included in obama’s selective government insurance. wake up!

neyney   July 23rd, 2009 - 4:45 pm

Don’t let your guard down for a minute Republicans. This is SOP for the Dems. They cannot get something done one way so they will try to get it done by a backdoor way. For example the “Fairness Doctrine” won’t fly so now they’re talking about bailing out minority radio stations which will give them a way to restrict speech on the radio. In California they couldn’t defeat Prop 8 so now they’re using the courts to try to say that Prop 8 is unconstitutional. The big 0 knows that the majority of American’s aren’t aboard for this debacle of a healthcare policy so they will “wait” until the “end of the year” and just go at it again. They will repackage the deal in a way that they HOPE will fool the average Obambot and enough of their Dem colleagues to get it passed. Don’t think this is over.

Irondog   July 23rd, 2009 - 5:19 pm

Wait,I thought the health care bill was an emergency and everyone was going to die! We’re tired of Chicken Little crying wolf.

claire2   July 23rd, 2009 - 5:26 pm

Obamalamadingdong, has a really hard time accepting defeat. He has to change his tune and again act as if it is someone else’s fault. These bunch of losers could care less about what the citizens of this country want…they want power over ALL OF US!

kmichaels   July 23rd, 2009 - 5:41 pm

Still waiting for one of the idiot liberals on this board to explain their idea that what is good for a human should always be free regardless of what effort the individual puts into it. I do understand the concept of pandering to the poor and misinformed in order to get cheap and easy votes. But it is still not too clear as to why every person should have every good thing given to them for free. Care to take a shot at explaining that one to us?

kmichaels   July 23rd, 2009 - 5:59 pm

Next time maybe people will learn to not ignore the stupid socialist guy just because he is black.

kmichaels   July 23rd, 2009 - 6:04 pm

Obama, standing alone in the corner, nose held high, ready to go lie to the public once again, mumbling under his breath, “Teleprompter don’t fail me now.”

JC   July 23rd, 2009 - 6:30 pm

Let’s See, with all his guys that did not pay taxes he got appointed, all his czars, creeping into the private sector, billions in stimulus out the door, billions going to Acorn and other corrupt places, abortion money for overseas, trying to make this a
non-christian nation and making it more a muslim nation, bowing down to kings,
apologying around the world for America, trying to force us in box cars that will
kill thousands of people, trying to tax the heck out of the people who give us jobs, etc. etc. That leaves Obama 100 to 1 winning. Now all we have to do after this one is fight him on Cap and Trade and Illegals. And we can move on to his next assine ideas.

kmichaels   July 23rd, 2009 - 6:37 pm

The problem according to the rats Obama, Pelosi, Reid, is that healthcare is too expensive. The solution to those aforementioned fools is to spend more of your taxpayer money to fix it. You know, the Joe Biden method of buying your way out of bankruptcy. Stupidity sponsored by the DNC. Next time you are ready to vote, dont vote for the known socialist inexperienced empty suit just because you feel guilty about past treatment of blacks. It is a rather stupid solution to a problem if you care to think about it.

Sphincter   July 23rd, 2009 - 8:06 pm

Hi my name is Dr. L’arse Pat Jordan the 3rd. At the begininng of this year I received my orders to have a constant presence on internet comment boards to combat reason and logic. Through Accorn, the DNC, the WNP (World Nazi Party), and stimulus dollars I have been kept a-float carrying out my orders as dictated by my superiors. Recently I began to feel this overwhelming heat in my body, (It’s not from my transgender husband/wife, he/she hasn’t turned me on in years.) I told my neighbor about this heat in the local suburbia where I live and he said it could be he!! fire due to the evil nature of my own nature. Anyway, it’s a vicious cycle, I’m unhappy because I’m a liberal-”progressive”-”nazi” & I’m a liberal nazi because I’m unhappy. Thank you, that is all.

The Truth Be Told   July 23rd, 2009 - 8:35 pm

Obama Healthcare = Mark Of The Beast
Why all the fuss about “requiring” everyone to have healthcare? Simple. By “requiring” every single American to have healthcare insurance, the government will be guaranteed that everyone in America can and will be tracked on the government computer databases from cradle-to-grave. This isn’t about healthcare coverage…this is all about controlling the masses. This is unfortunately the work of “big brother”, just like the 1984 movie or novel, coming to pass right before our eyes.

The Death Bill   July 23rd, 2009 - 8:36 pm

Reading further in the proposed “health” bill:

You may not be surprised to find out that “you” don’t need to give consent to your own murder. Only a theoretical “you” is really required. That’s one of the “options” Uncle Barack is going to supplement you with.

Examining the related sections carefully, we find that if there is an order (page 429 line 17) signed and dated by a physician that “effectively communicates the individual’s preferences regarding life sustaining treatment,” then this gives the government authority, under this law, to starve and dehydrate you to death.

A statement that “you” desired your food and water taken away, if signed and dated by a physician, sums up like this: you’re dead.

But if a physician signs a standardized form, well, that’s final! He knows about whatever “your” desires are. In that case, the government not only has authority to take all your food and water, but can also confer upon itself the authority to decide other nattering details

Ha=Ha   July 23rd, 2009 - 9:18 pm

Eileen for Freedom/Liberty,I get the feeling that you are an older person.
If you receive Social Security.I demand that you write The Social Security Administration and demand you not be under that Socialist program.

The same goes for the rest of you right wingers. If health care reform is passed.I demand that you not benefit from it.Refuse all benefits.

If you would consider leaving the good old USA,I will throw in a few bucks for a one way ticket any where in the world that you might want to go.

Old Larse   July 23rd, 2009 - 9:19 pm

Hi Eileen,

I must disagree with you in that I think the heathcare system does need a major reboot. But beyond that, I am happy to see in issue coming that is so important that congress is actually working on it!! All sides are coming up with good and bad ideas and they are working those out “together”. We may not see them Democrats and Republicans talking through those 2 foot thick marble walls, but they are!! :)

There will be healthcare reform. Hopefully, it will actually be a great thing we can all be proud of!!!! Even you guys!

BTW – Eileen, I just got a note from Gordon Liddy that you should pass on to the birthers on your end… “Don’t talk to Matthews about the birth certificate!!!!!!! :(

Obama’s birth certificate has now turned into a liberal fun joking point!!! :D
Matthews cleaned, dried, pressed, and handed Liddy his bottom back in a body bag on Hardball!! :D

Even America’s most trusted newscaster loves this story now!!

“And oh yes, I almost forgot, thank you for taking the time to post a reasoned comment often. Unlike the numerous liberal democrat trolls who post here.”

Hey… You right wingers got your trolls too!!! :D

But, at least, try not to fake my namesake… Like “why”?? Can’t you even remember (or make up) your “own” name…

I could get Liz all over your a$s. But she would f* everything else up “trying”!!! :D

If you want to be a “parasite” Larse, that is fine with me. But “I” did that s* before you were born there dummy :D Maybe we could party like it was 1995!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Wise Latina   July 24th, 2009 - 3:51 am

Obama will get health care passed and there’s not a damn thing these miserable powerless obstructionist republicans will be able to do about it. Deal with it or move the hell out of the country, you pathetic right wing sore losers.

LK   July 24th, 2009 - 11:14 am

I’m sure Obama and his Communist co-horts will be signing up for the same miserable healthcare they foist upon Americans who’ll have no choice or say?
