What was the name of the book he said he read? A movie about it was just released? I am not a movie person so I do not keep up on all the latest releases, but it would be interesting to know what book it is, since he was in Indonesia during his most formitable years. Then the school Principle will come in and throw out any kids who wear a Cross around their necks….or wear a Cub Scout uniform….or any child who keeps saying “Under God’ when they say the Pledge of Allegiance….or wears any No-Obama ..or Pro-Life T-Shirts.

Then all grades will be an “A” so no kids will feel bad about themselves when they don’t study. Of course they will never know any real History of America…or the world..except how great Mao and Lenin were…or maybe Montezuma….or how great Mother Earth is and how she is being killed by the evil Capitalists.

From the video it appeared he got off the question real fast. It looks like he was flustered inside for a moment. This would have been an excellent opportunity to slam the birthers by going into some detail about his birth, name of hospital, his long form birth certificate. He did not do that. Linda, you’re a little hard on the president, no? He can’t even talk to children correctly in your eyes. I might not agree with all of his policies, but the children in that video did seem to enjoy the way he spoke with them.

If you give the man credit for nothing, then any legitimate disagreement you have with him is too easily dismissed as purely partisan.

The movie is Where The Wild Things Are, based on a children’s book from the 60s.

Obama and Transparency

President Obama states he wants to have the most transparent government ever. He wrote a memo that reads: “My Administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government. We will work together to ensure the public trust and establish a system of transparency, public participation, and collaboration. Openness will strengthen our democracy and promote efficiency and effectiveness in Government.” I believe you should lead by example. That is why I do not understand why Obama does not release his birth certificate, or his college papers.

The media wants to demonize the people who are requesting the information calling them “Birthers.” The media does not understand why these people are in such an uproar about where Obama was born. Perhaps they are unaware that according to the Constitution you have to be a natural born citizen to be the President of the United States.

President Obama has released a document called a Certificate of Live Birth, wherein it states he was born in Hawaii, but it is not the birth certificate. That would be sufficient if the original birth certificate were lost or destroyed. But that is not the case. The original does exist but Obama refuses to disclose it. That is what I find puzzling. Here is a man who in order to gain the public trust, claims he is for transparency, yet he refuses to release the birth certificate or his college papers. Maybe he doesn’t understand the meaning to the word transparency, which according to Webster’s dictionary means clearness, to make bright or clear; to make evident; to free from accusation. When there is a contradiction between what he says and what he does you begin to question, “What is he trying to hide? What will those documents reveal?” The point is not necessarily where he was born, but why he refuses to release the documents.

The media should be trying to ascertain the truth and request that President Obama release the documents instead of criticizing the people who are looking for the answers. The media should at least ask him why he is refusing to disclose the birth certificate and college papers. The freedom of the press is recognized in the first amendment of the Constitution because they are supposed to be the watchdogs over the government.

President Obama, you state you want to have the most transparent government ever, then I say release the documents.

Frank Anthony, any parent or real teacher knows that when you address a child or a group of children, you need to be down at eye-level with them in order for them to believe in you or trust you. Obama has brought a lot of these suspicions on himself. When he lied about not ever having heard Rev. Wright say anything controversial like the video clips that surfaced, (although he was a member of this church for twenty years), he lost my respect. He should have manned up, admitted it, and moved on, but instead he (and the “media) labeled the people who exposed this as racists. His aunt from Kenya, whom he mentioned several times in his book, is still living on an expired visa in a government funded housing project, collecting food stamps. When asked about this he claimed he was “unaware that she was in this country” until she was exposed. She even attended his confirmation as senator a few years earlier. Let’s face it, he has shown that he is not what he wants us all to believe he is, and he will do anything to anyone who dares to expose him. And so far, the mainstream media lets him get away with it all.

I bet the kids didn’t even believe him. Kids are good at spotting liars.

What are you hiding, comrade? Why did you issue an executive order sealing EVERY public record relevant to your background as soon as you were sworn in? These kids seem pretty unimpressed with meeting Obama. That kid should have asked for a birth certificate.

Sensing that he was not from America, the wise child questions where he was born. Proving that children are even smarter than the self proclaimed intellectuals that make up the democrat blinder party.

If you listen closely, right after Obama says “Absolutely”, affirming that he was born in Hawaii, he then quickly says, “I lied.” Go back to that point and listen several times and you’ll hear it.

In spite of all the lawsuits, all the controversy, petitions signed by hundreds of thousands, all the inconsistencies, vital documents that some believe first turned up on PhotoBucket, and articles that state Obama was born in Kenya, journalists just look the other way.

As far as I know, this child is the first person to actually ask Obama where he was born. He did look uncomfortable, got a little verbally flustered, and seemed distracted for a few seconds.

As we saw with Joe the Plumber and others, Obama’s team smears questioners that expose the president. Right now, Obots are probably furiously trying to dig up dirt on this child, and tomorrow MSNBC will be reporting that she talks during class and didn’t do well at all in the last spelling bee.

Good on you Mr. President. You keep being the role model and doing what is necessary to help our kids move forward. Let the reich-wing destroy themselves with their fake conditional and constantly changing morality and values. They would justify the devil himself if he declared himself a rethug conservative.

As far as your critique of my opinion of Obama’s decision to not lower himself and actually sit with the children to talk with them on their level, what in your media marketing/web hosting career gives you expertise over my first hand knowledge? I am a mother, grandmother, very successful former President of the local PTA & former President of another very successful childrens charity organization. My critique of how Obama addressed the children was made with experience in hosting community leaders into the school & other children’s events and working with them in conversing with children in the school setting so there is no appearance of supriority and intimidation. The way Obama leaned over the other children to get in the child’s face that asked the question is a classic Alinsky tactic of intimidation and should never be used, especially against children.

You keep to web-hosting/web marketing and leave the schools to those of us who know what is best for the children and it is NOT Obama and his minions and their progressive, socialistic/marxist agendas.

Where’s your birth certificate? Your COLB is not a birth certificate. Where is your actual birth certificate? What hospital where you born in?Why is Hawaii stone-walling AND lying? Why is Eric Holder involved in the Barnett case? Personally-present? Regardless of your missing birth certificate, and let’s grant your were born in Hawaii, can you please explain your status as British citizen (through your father) at the moment of your birth (and at least until 1963) under the British Nationality Act of 1948? Can you explain HOW you are a “natural BORN citizen” and therefore lawfully eligible to run for and hold office as POTUS?

Can you explain what happened to your passport records? Can you tell us about your admission to Occidental college? What did you put on your application?
