Who can figure out what this guy is up to. He just stated emphatically that when he came into office the economy was losing jobs at the rate of 700 thousand per month.
Well the Bureau of Labor Statistics publicly reports Non Farm Payroll statistics on the first Friday of each month for the previous month. Here are those statistics for each month since Jan 2008. Does anyone see a monthly job loss anywhere of 700 thousand jobs?

Up to December 2007 the economy under the Bush Administration added 5.6 million jobs. Since January 2008, 5.5 million of those jobs have been lost.
And the LEFT will not like this but 5.2 million have been lost in the last 12 months since it became apparent last August that Obama was likely to succeed as President and the economy and the financial markets began to react to the possibility of a Socialist administration.
As far as I’m concerned the financial debacle we’re experiencing is directly attributable to Socialist Housing Policy established by the Democrats and Barney Frank and Fanny and Freddy. All of these job losses have occurred under the Democrats. Why can’t Obama even give a straight number on job losses? It’s unbelievable!
$43B in tax relief? My taxes aren’t relieved. It’s not that Obama’s a dumba$$. It’s that he thinks all of us are.
yeah sure New York state paying $2,000. per highway sign for Obama stimulus road repair…wow what a load of crap!
C’mon folks, let’s ease up with the cynicism here, and give the economic plan time to do what it was intended to do. He has assembled the finest group of economists in the country, so I have no doubt it’s just a matter of time before it works. 4. Yes to no more spending…with a moratorium on “all” spending

This America, on the heels of the Bank CEO that stated in hearings in Washington that he was strong armed to go along with this merger with Merrill-Lynch.
We must get this passed as if our lives, the lives of our children and grandchildren depend on it…because they do!

I recently heard Bernanke express to a committee in Washington that letting them audit the Federal Reserve would give “too much power to Congress”!
America…can you believe that? Our Congressional reps represent American citizens from their districts…the financial power of this country was intended, by our founding fathers, to rest with the people…not a private bank with no ties to our government and no transparency.
They have been hiding things from us for years and it must be revealed.
One question to ask first…where is the $70 million or billion (I can’t remember which anymore) that disappeared when the first bailout was given? Why was it that Paulson could not give an answer about where this money went…our money…America!
We need answers…and Ron Paul’s HR 1207 will start the ball rolling to undercover what is going on at the Fed!
