EVERY candidate needs to take responsibility for EVERY word that comes out of their mouth! ESPECIALLY when talking about a fellow Republican. Newt has made issues about things Romney has said and called him names. Now he needs to stand up like a man, and either defend HIS OWN WORDS, or refute them and apologize.

Newt's entire narrative claiming he would easily whip Obama in the debates is now demolished. Once again he raised expectations and failed to deliver, a very familiar pattern for him. The answer that won him the SC primary was a lie and he just lost 2 debates in Florida.

In this particular clip, he tries to provoke Blitzer for no good reason other than to garner cheap applause. Hey, it worked before so he thought he would try it again. It failed dismally. In his defense he won Iowa and finished higher than Newt in NH. Newt won SC. If Newt hadn't pompously demanded that Paul and Santorum quit even though they still had support, maybe Rick would have acquiesced. I can assure you that no such questions will ever be posed to Obama during the upcoming general election debates. The MSM will treat him with kid gloves and if challenged on it they will hide behind their usual mantra of, "Well, we need to respect the office of the POTUS" but at the same time they will do all they can to skewer the Republican nominee whomever he/she is.

I have felt from day one that Newt is one of the sharpest minds out there. I have also thought all along that he is unelectable. I see him as a loose cannon and wonder what today's outburst will be about. These constant hissy fits aren't benefiting him. This constant finger pointing between him and Romney is making all of us on the right look like idiots. Dammit people, do like Santorum said, talk about the ISSUES!
