NY Congressman Defends Calling Michael Jackson ‘Pervert’, ‘Pedophile’

"Whether or not he [Jackson] was convicted of a precise crime by his own admission - also by cases he settled, lawsuits he settled against him - there's an admission that he acted very, very inappropriately," Rep. Peter King said.

THIS GUY WAS FOR THE MOST PART, PATHETIC!

Kevin   July 6th, 2009 - 2:15 pm

He’s right.

Dooley   July 6th, 2009 - 2:22 pm

Congressman King is correct and speaks truth to power.

Racist Pig   July 6th, 2009 - 2:25 pm

I remember when Michael was black and young. He was a lot better person then than now. He had issue that were never dealt with.

human nature   July 6th, 2009 - 2:26 pm

The real story (and scary) is that most who are “deifying” Michael Jackson secretly don’t care whether or not he was a pedophile.

chas Holman   July 6th, 2009 - 2:29 pm

Interesting.. according to the congressman, if Jackson was as much of a pervert as he suggests, then Jackson
would have made a great Republican. Maybe the congressman hasn’t noticed, but why he decided to pick on Jackson
instead of his own corrupted ranks is less than shocking.

Pretty dangerous precedent Congressman, accusing and saying someone is absolutely something even though they
were aquitted. As for settling out of court, since when does that make anyone guilty?

Of course I am not defending Jackson for what he may or may of not done, but I am suggesting this
representative is talking out his a$$ and in his ‘I am a great American’ kind of way, is suggesting
that in this country is guilty no matter if they are found not guilty in court.

What a joke.. who is this guy? Never heard of him.. and why is he taking all the media attention away
from the Veterans this time of year?

he should be ashamed.

Wrath_of_Wotan   July 6th, 2009 - 2:35 pm

King is bang-on. Only a perverted liberal media, such as ours would demean themselves by pandering to a pathetic pedophile and phagg like mj. What really blows me away is the number of simple minds out there in la-la land lapping up all this media dung.

ent   July 6th, 2009 - 2:36 pm

Cute how you point out not once, but twice, that King is a Republican. I would hazard a guess that if the politician were a Democrat, this would be a non-story. Or if you covered it at all, you would not emphasize (or even mention) that he is a Democrat.

Hickok   July 6th, 2009 - 2:37 pm

Stupid CNN Reporterette ends by saying “Congressman King says his chances of running for a Senate seat are ‘less than 50/50 percent’.” WTF is 50/50 percent?
Meanwhile, why did Wacko Jacko frequently shop at Walmart?
Because they always had Boy’s Pants Half Off.

Michael0Michael   July 6th, 2009 - 2:40 pm

Michael Jackson touched millions, 11 came forward and two brought charges…

Macaulay Culkin   July 6th, 2009 - 2:56 pm

What’s the difference between Michael Jackson and a grocery bag?
One is white, made out of plastic, and dangerous for kids to play with and the other you carry your groceries in…

Why does Michael Jackson like twenty eight year olds?
Because there are twenty of them…

Why did Michael Jackson place a phone call to Boyz-2-Men?
He thought it was a delivery service…

katie   July 6th, 2009 - 2:59 pm

Dear Chas:
So you think that all republicans are corrupt/perverts? On what do you base that assumption? As for corruption, the republicans or any party or public servant for that matter, have NO corner on that corruption. Did you forget the representative who had the 90,000 stashed in his freezer? Or what about the gay representative who was diddling male house interns? Corruption is the way in Washington, D.C., just ask crack-smoking, whore-dogging, convicted felon the “ex-Mayor Marion Barry” – who the people of D.C. felt with all his legal savvy, he just be RE-elected Mayor, to represent the Capitol of our country. What a joke. They should all be swept under the rug in D.C., including that naive fool we have for a president.

j. galt   July 6th, 2009 - 3:00 pm

whats black and white and comes in little cans?

stirling   July 6th, 2009 - 3:02 pm

Michael Jackson is being celebrated as a great artist, of that there is no doubt. Is anybody really out there celebrating his personal life? Or for that matter – does his personal life(of which the public knows very little) detract from his artistic accomplishments? If you think it does than I feel sorry for you.

This situation seems to be divided along racial lines. It reminds me of O.J.’s acquittal. The black population was ecstatic. The non-black population was stunned believing O.J. got away with murder.

So here we are with Michael Jackson. He was a great performer but would anyone leave their children alone with him?

Another thing, what ever happened to Bubbles?

Liberals Are Parasites   July 6th, 2009 - 4:02 pm

katie, don’t confuse chas with facts and the truth, or any lib for that matter, it just gives them a headache.

chas holman   July 6th, 2009 - 4:31 pm

Dear Katie, No, I think Democrats and republicans are exactly the same. And while I was once a full fledged
fiscal conservative, I wouldn’t touch this GOP party of today with a 10 foot pole. The reason I choose to
bring up ‘republicans’ is because it is a Re[ublican Congressman who is doing the complaining about MJ’s lack
of morals and ethics, and if you haven’t noticed lately the GOP is mired down in one scandle after another.

I mean to be honest, I wouldn’t be that suprised if a Democrat representative was in the mens restroom soliciting
sex from men, or running away on fathers day to be with his mistress rather than his family. But when such
non moral, anti family behavior is being exhibeted in such abundance by a party that wants to suggest the Dems
have no MORAL grounds, and that THEY (the GOP) are the party of ‘family values’. well, I think it has went
from being hypocritical to ludicris to at this point, just down right funny.

I mean what is it with these republican types that are so strong in demanding people be personally responsible,
and want to drug test poor people on food stamps (because hungry desperate drug addicts are a good thing to have roaming
roaming the streets?) and suggest that peoples life situations are based around peoples life choices. Then when
THEY get into trouble in some really gross and anti family or ethics related ways, they throw a photo op and
stand behind a flag and get teary eyed and beg for God and their familys, their state and their supporters to
‘forgive them’ for making such mistakes.. sweep it all under the rug and make it go away, because after all,
they are only human and humans make mistakes.

THey hypocrisy of the lot, fueled by the heated hateful tantrums of the Limbaughs and the Becks and the Hanitys
have driven this long time fiscal conservative to be a PROUD independent.. I no longer expect MORE from
the GOP than the DEMS.. I expect the same.. and from a party that touts it’s self as somehow morally and
ethically SUPERIOR.. I do tend to DELIGHT when they prove time and time again they are ‘the same’.

TU Congressman King…………

For saying what I am thinking.

Hope this congressman is ready to be crucified

Vic   July 6th, 2009 - 5:39 pm

Does anyone know if MJ molested his own son as well? Did he pay off Debbie Rowe in order to get to do that (molest his son)? I mean, why stop at just a couple of boys who are fans, right?

I do think people are celebrating the guy’s musical talents, not the scandals.

Vic   July 6th, 2009 - 5:39 pm

“Another thing, what ever happened to Bubbles?”

The case of Bubbles vs Michael Jackson was resolved with an out-of-court settlement. As part of the settlement, the victim and his representatives are legally enjoined from speaking about any details of the alleged molestation of Bubbles by Jackson.

Of course since Bubbles is just a chimp he can’t talk anyway but Jackson didn’t know that…

@ICONIC DANCER AND SINGER – GET OVER IT AND MOVE ON

THIS GUY WAS FOR THE MOST PART, PATHETIC!

I agree Mike Jackson IS dead and WAS PATHETIC – GET OVER IT AND MOVE ON!!!

Larse   July 6th, 2009 - 7:57 pm

We all know Jackson had issues. But what is interesting is if King is ready to take on the giant fight he picked with the Jackson fans. They can throw a lot of support and money to his opponents in the next election. King had little to win but a lot to lose here. But who cares… There are way too many GOP congressmen anyway :D

Brent   July 7th, 2009 - 2:25 am

I agree with Human Nature that many of the people deifying Jackson don’t care about him being a pedophile. Thank God for Rep. King, that someone in the public eye has guts enough to say what so many are thinking.

One thing that confuses me though, is why so many black people idolize Jackson, when he has spent his entire adult life in what amounts to racial denial. To have gone through so many nose operations, to change a typical Afro type nose (rather broad and flat) into an Anglo type one long and pointed. To undergo numerous skin bleaching treatments and put a dimple in his chin (I can’t recall having EVER seen a Black person with a dimple in his/her chin), these things seem to my to be a direct slap in the face to any Black person with any racial pride at all. I honestly do not intend this as a racist commentary, I just don’t get it. I have even heard several Black stand up comics crack on Jackson for being White.

Michael was what he is, for good or for ill.
Death is not a virtue, folks. He’s not necessarily
an “angel” just because he died.

Hey, liberals…okay, “progressives”…
how did you guys treat Robert Bork?
And Clarence Thomas? And Sarah Palin?
The mask is off of your hypocrytical faces.
You’re no longer assumed to be the
people of sweet understanding, versus
those “mean old wascally Wepubwicans”
anymore. You are the most vicious damn
people out there. You destroy anyone
who dares get in your way. The secret’s out now.

Deloris   July 7th, 2009 - 5:47 pm

Congressman King, you should be ashame of yourself. You can kiss your career goodbye. You apparently know nothing about the law or the Constitution of the United States. How would you feel if you were accused of a crime? Would you want your day in court or would you want an individual to verbally convict you?

Heywood Djashuddup   July 7th, 2009 - 6:49 pm

Hurray for Congressman King for calling a spade a spade. And LOL at the microcephalic liberals/marxists and their so-called “news” media for defending and worshipping the freakish piece of filth Jackson like he was some sort of god.

Oh, and isn’t it funny how the left-wing media made such a big deal about that Republican (forgot his name) with the wide stance who solicited the guy in the next stall, yet they say NOTHING about Bawney Fwank taking it up the rear every night?

OK, stop me if you heard this one:

Q: What did Michael Jackson’s autopsy reveal?

A: He died of food poisoning. Seems he ate a 10 year old weiner.

Hickok   July 7th, 2009 - 11:52 pm

“Funny how elected GOP officials weren’t issuing “official pedophile alerts” when Elvis was banging 14-year-old Priscilla!”
Dr. FatA$$,
Show me proof that Elvis was “Banging 14 year old Priscilla.” I have no proof Jacko fiddled with little boys, so I won’t call him a pedophile. He did, in his own words on national television, admit that he slept in the same bed with kids who were visiting his ranch. He also bleached his face white over many years, and chiselled his nose beyond recognition. He ironed his hair so as to look like Liz Taylor. He used a white guy’s sperm to inseminate a white woman so as to create white children. And you compare him to Elvis, and call him Black? He spent his entire adult life trying to be white, you moron, yet you call the criticism “ripping on a black.” I call it distinguishing a Martian from a human being. Freakin Obama’s blacker than Jackson was, and that’s not saying much.

Hickok   July 7th, 2009 - 11:54 pm

Breitbart,
It’s late at night, spare me your random censorship B.S. !!!!

Elise   July 15th, 2009 - 1:35 am

Hey King,

What do YOU say about us as a country? Jack shit! Were you a member of the jury back in 2005? No. Were you at Neverland when these crimes “supposedly” happened? No! It’s funny how the Chandler kid and the Arvizo kid haven’t been heard from all this time; funny how they seemed to have vanished. They got their money, or bills paid or whatever and ran. The media needs to track them down and interview and hassle them, since they are adults now! Peter King, you may as well of killed MJ yourself!
