Whether you agree with his politics or not, here are the facts – so called “leftist” religious figures like Rev. Wright are talking about the betterment of humanity, while extremist right wing Nazi religious figures – Steven Anderson, for instance – are calling for the death of the President.
Obama believed in what is known as apostolic socialism. It is the false idea that Christ somehow believed in government sponsored forced socialistic ideas of redistribution of wealth, again with the key element of being FORCED to give to the poor. Jim Jones, remember him? He too was a believer in apostolic socialism and we remember how that little experiment turned out, with hundreds murdered by poison koolaid. Well, apparently Obama is one of the apostolic socialism koolaid drinkers and he is in the process of radically changing the US government to be one of forced socialism in order to obtain his sick and bizarre goals. Everything about Obama leads back to bizarre socialistic influences and behavior. What kind of reverend advocates for systems that basically outlaw religion? No kind of reverend at all; he’s a Marxist operative. Glad I exposed him…
“Tell me what the guiding principles of Marxism are, and why you are against it.”
I’m glad you asked.
These are the guiding principles of Marxism:
“1) Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.”
The first principle of communism is that all land is owned by the state and all profits earned from the land are the property of the state. This is in fact the very legal institution that the great founders of Liberalism like Thomas Jefferson, Adam Smith, and John Locke tried to overthrow. You see for human history all land was held by the sovereign, and people did not own the land, but rather obtained the usury of the land from The State in return for turning over the profit that they acquired to the The State. This institution is called serfdom. The first principle of Marxism is the restoration of serfdom, which precisely what Marxism accomplished when put to practice. Since I have no desire to be made a serf, forced to salve for my government masters, I am opposed to Marxism.
“2) A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.”
Again, the government takes from me enough as it is, and does not return enough for what it takes. A progressive tax is perhaps a fine thing (or not), but it does not require a Marxist government to implement such a thing, and no tax should be so heavy as to empower the government to do whatever it will. The power to tax is the power to destroy.
“3) Abolition of all right of inheritance.”
Again, this is a restoration of a feudal economic system. Under a feudal code, since you did not own anything but instead merely held it in trust for the State, when you died, your property returned to the state and your heirs were required to entreat the state to continue to live on and work the land and generally were forced to pay to the state a vast sum for the right to work their own land. This served to keep the serfs in permenent bondage and poverty. And for this reason, I am opposed to Marxism.
“4) Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.”
What this means in plain language, is that anyone who dissents from the practices of the state is subject to having his rights revoked and to be cast into destitution. Indeed, what this means is that nothing belongs to you – not your house, your car, your entertainments, your food, not even the clothes on your back. Everything, according to Marx, belongs to the state and is used for the good of the state. The state is everything and the individual is nothing, having no rights save what the state deems he is permitted to have. And for this reason, I am opposed to Marxism.
“5) Centralisation of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.”
And of course, we’ve all seen the value of State run monopolies on credit that are centralized so as to be too big to fail recently, haven’t we? Surely Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were the very models of the state centralization of credit. How could we ever be opposed to that? But beyond the recent practical examples, this again means that all money is in the hands of the state. No loans will be handed out save those the state deems to be in its interests. Under such a system there is no freedom. Even if freedom of speech or assembly or press were tolerated – which it wouldn’t be – no one would have the funds to actually make their speech heard nor the means to travel nor the instruments of the press because the state would hold control over everything that you might buy or sell. And for this reason, I am opposed to Marxism.
“6) Centralisation of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.”
How many times do we have to repeat this? With your phones, cars, and internet held in the hands of the state, you would be able to go nowhere and say nothing that the state could not mark or if it desired prevent. And for this reason I am opposed to Marxism.
“7) Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.”
Ahh… the wonders of centralized planning. There is nothing quite so sure as to starve millions of your people as putting the IRS and the people who run the Department of Motor Vehicals in charge of how much food to produce, how to produce the food, and how to get it to you. Time and time again, when nations have tried to implement the centralized planning Marx described, the results were not only mass starvation but ecological destruction of such profoundity as to make the riscible record of the United States and Western Europe seem positively laudable by comparison. Besides which, this is yet more concentration of power into the hands of the state.
“8) Equal liability of all to labour. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.”
There are actually two very bad ideas in Marx’s point #7. The latter of the two, the conscription of people into ‘industrial armies’ amounts to nothing more or less in practice than massive slave labor camps, which in the USSR and China led to millions of deaths just through horid work conditions. But amazingly enough, that’s actually the least bad and destructive of the two ideas here. The first one, that all labor be paid the same wages, turns out in the long run to actually kill more people than rounding them up and throwing them into work camps does because it undermines the very definition of labor. Labor is work. Not all work is equally productive. If unproductive work is rewarded to the same degree as productive work, first who would want to remain productive but a very few, and secondly how shall there be enough productive work to provide for and pay for the unproductive work? The result is scarcity, famine, and starvation, and gradual decline of morals, honesty, and a work ethic and the eventually dissolution of a productive engineering class.
“9) Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of the population over the country.”
Not only is it horrible to imagine a world where the state can tell you where to live, but the state simply does not have the knowledge to know where you should live. By its ‘equitable distribution of population’, the state ends up letting productive farm land lie fallow, and forces farmers to move onto land that will not sustain agriculture. It forces people off farms into factories. It moves people with skills to places where they are not needed, and forces them to toil at jobs that they do not desire nor are they suited for.
“10) Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labour in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.”
Oddly enough, it was here in the United States – here that bastion of Capitalism – where this dream of free education and the abolition of child labor was first and most perfectly realized. This is of course not odd at all once you understand the nature of Marxism, but it just goes to show that any good that Marxism might aim to do is far better done by a government that doesn’t practice Marxism.
This is not rocket science. It’s easy to see why Marxism is such a horrible system. You don’t have to read alot of books (though I have). You just actually need to read the Communist Manifesto and think about it. You just have to actually turn your attention to the disasters that have befallen any society that tried to implement the above core principles. There is no serious thinker that can possible embrace Marxism, and anyone who says that they embrace Marxism is either a liar or else an empty psuedo-intellectual sophist that lacks even the most basic critical reasoning skills.

Rev Wright seems to equal Barry Obama. I was NOT surprised to hear in this Wright speech (obviously recent and heartfelt) several references to Marxism, but also to Franz Fanon. I’d never heard of that writer (around 1960 for a few of his books) until I read Obama’s “Dreams From My Father”. In the book, Obama talked about his sophomore year at Occidental College in L.A., and he described that he started hanging out with ‘brothers’ so he wouldn’t be viewed as a ’sellout’, and alternative artists, and Marxist professors, and talking to friends about Franz Fanon. WOW……..quite a sophomore year!! I went to Oxy — four years ahead of Barry, and I guess I didn’t take the right Poly-Sci classes to find those Marxist profs!! Franz Fanon was a totally race-obsessed black man from Algeria or someplace like that. And the race-obsession is SCARY. I tell you something……Obama is a freaking head-case, and he fooled LOTS of voters………but not me and not 47%! But we’re stuck with him now, and it’s going to be ugly. Not only is he NOT going to do what our country needs (smaller govt spending, smaller govt intrusion, both federal and state, smaller govt power like NOT forcing loans to poor people (Clinton’s CRA regulations in 1995)…….Obama will not do the things we need. He will attempt the opposite. And he and Pelosi/Reid are doing their best to do the opposite, which if enacted, will multiply the problems. In fact, the lack of correct action is already killing us. We’re in HUGE trouble with Obama/Pelosi/Reid. Period.

Take a look back in time to the long lost Catholic monasteries…they were true socialist entities. Some of their legacy remains in the Orders of Brothers and the convents of nuns, but most are gone now. Why? Because it extremely difficult to buy into the code of: “do what you can and get only what you need”. That simply does not work in the long run, it never has and it never will! What made it work best was a deep personal faith in God and the idea that such a life would lead to sanctity in the eyes of God. I have an insight into this because I spent 10 years as a Christian Brother, associated with LaSalle University in Philadelphia.
Without God in the equation this ideology dies on its own. All that can keep it going in a secular world is the belief in “redistribution”. That means, give me your excess. People will either try to claw their way to the top of the heap, to be the deciders of who gets what or they will become complacent and take what the State gives them. Take look at Russia. The reason so many people were killed by Marxist leaders is because the fight to be top dog in this system can be brutal! Do you want to replace that system for ours. I don’t!
While I fundamentally disagree with Wright’s views, he has every right to express them. He is a US citizen, and he served in the armed forces of this country. If our views as conservatives are superior, it is our job to articulate those views in a way that resonates and persuades others to adopt our phiolosphy. Our job is not to silence his views, but to make sure that his words ring hollow, and that people dismiss them as false.
Wright is a student of James Cone, the father of Black Liberation Thelogy. Cone’s doctrine is, at its core, Marxist. If you want to understand where Wright, and many in the black community are coming from, read Cone’s works. The philosophy he lays out is pretty clear. Like it or not, they are up-front about their views.
What a good “social Marxist” this “Reverand” is. He follows in line with other “great” Marxists who have led their people. For like them, he shares the philosophy that “everybody is equal, its just that some are more ‘equal’ than others.” While this charlatan lives the opulent lifestyle he enjoys, his “followers” live in squalor and can only rage against the “greed and corruption” of big business in America; All the while this imposter swindles his congregants.
I guess conservatives were right all along … Wright is a closet Marxist symp and Obama’s closest associates and colleagues are little more than neo-communists in American dress.

You have a good point Ralph. We should oppose what the left is doing politically, but we should pray daily for God to reach those who are reachable. That includes praying for Obama because you never know what could happen. for example Walid Shoebat an ex PLO terrorist now walks in Christ and spreads the word about the truth of of Islam. John Todd was one of the top 13 in the Illuminati and was saved and he also spread the word of the evil of the Illuminati and their connection to witchcraft. If those could be reached Obama may also be. It is for him to decide but for us to pray for God to intercede.
