The key word missing from his lips, which he intends very much, is “YET”. He plans and hopes very much for a single payer system. He has said so. He has even talked about the elimination of private insurance 10, 25 mabe 20 years out. He has told his AFL-CIO union buddies that he supports a single payer system. Obviously the system is not set up YET for a single payer system, and obviously to fully transition to a single payer system it would take time. That is exactly what he hopes will happen.
