Ok, to the reporter on this story, please get your facts straight. The police can only ask for ID ONLY when they police stop them for a criminal act. Things like traffic violations and accidents. It featured an ‘illegal’ alien who had been here 15 years. She met her ‘illegal’ alien husband here and in the last 15 years have parented ten (10)…get it ten (10) anchor babies. All babies who probably get state welfare, education, healthcare, etc!

And after 15 years this woman could not…not…speak English!

They were packing up and leaving AZ and heading to Colorado because the state of AZ held nothing for them anymore and they needed to move where they could get it!

I am all for immigrants that is how my grandparents got here…but they came through the front door in the light of day…not through the back door in the dead of night!

I lived in Santa Fe from the summer of 07 till the fall of 08. The crime rate NW of town was huge and getting worse. SF officials were proud of their “sanctuary city” status and declared they had 13000 illegals locally. Guess what….it was more like 50000 and getting worse. yeah fat chance. Janet Napalitano, current head of Homeland Security, was our Governor. She thinks the border is “more secure now than it has ever been”. We will be having a very important election for Governor here in NM this November. The Republican candidate (Martinez) has been the District Attorney in Las Cruces (just north of El Paso, TX) for 10+years so she knows very well about the real “truth” to illegal immigration in southwestern US. Her opponent (Denish, also female) has been the Lt. Guv. for Guv Richardson for the past 8 years. Richardson is best known recently for being too corrupt to take a cabinet job (Sec. of Commerce) with the Obama Admin – one that he wanted very badly. The dirty politics and “pay for play” approach that Richardson has demonstrated in Santa Fe the past 8 years has been horrible for this state. As 2nd in command in NM, Denish has been mum about how all of this has been orchestrated since 2003. Richardson was proud to call NM a “sanctuary state” for illegals and was quick to allow anyone who wanted one the legal right to a driver’s license, regardless of immigration status. Watch this race closely in the fall. I see that Martinez may win if more and more illegals come to our state in the coming months and create more chaos than the citizens can accept. Like every place else, the state is out of $$$ too…

regarding the situation in Maywood… my cousins grew up there. we visited at least once or twice every month since we lived in Carson ( lived there until i was 24 when i left for Arizona). I don’t particularly care if any city is 1% or 100% “hispanic” or japanese, or irish or anything in particular. but i care very much if that city is a sanctuary city and if a very large percent is illegal (don’t care about where they came from, what they look like, or what language they speak).

this has to stop. our laws must be enforced. Even california state law is being violated by each of those sanctuary cities and even by it’s own senate and assembly. i don’t know if there are enough legal citizens remaining in CA to change the situation (i sure hope so!) but you have to vote these people out of office from the school board, to the city councils, to the county government, to the state senate and assembly, and even your US represenatives and senators. please, everyone, please take your school board, city, county, state, and country back from the leftists!

What the Government should do is to utilize the whole State of New Mexico as an illegal immigrant haven for all illegals and then round them up (yeah right…) and put them in the state of New Mexico (get it? New “Mexico”) and then let Governor Bill Richardson (who is of Mexican descent himself if I’m not mistaken) take care of all 20 million illegals here in the U.S. illegally. New Mexico is no man’s land where the illegals will feel right at home. Once all 20 million illegals are cordoned off in New Mexico the United States Government i.e. Obama and crew could then grant the illegals amnesty like they’ve always wanted to and then all future illegals coming in from down south i.e. Mexico could then be funneled through the New Mexico border thus alleviating the rest of the border States from having to deal with them along with all their corruption, drugs, human trafficking, criminal activity, criminal intent, diseases, did I say DRUGS??, third-grade educations, no skilled labor, no money, down in the dumps… losers every one.

The United States of America will end up being minus one U.S. State i.e. there will only be 49 States left since New Mexico would now be full of criminal foreigners from not only Mexico itself but also from Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan, Libya, Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Saudi Arabia… you know, all those decent upstanding countries from around the World who would like to gain entrance and access into the United States of America for the specific purpose(s) of blowing up American buildings and destroying cities and killing American citizens in the name of Allah, etc. All the illegals will be very happy they have gained free access into New “Mexico” and Bill Richardson will no doubt give them everything they want as well as Obama and his minions too no doubt. even the talking head on Fox got it wrong. Arizona law enforcement cannot randomly stop people and ask for papers. Only, subsequent to a stop for violation of another law,ie. speeding, expired licence plates is an officer given the authority to ask for immigration status and then only if he has reasonable supicions ie. no drivers licence, no registration, cannot speak English then he can ask about immigration status

OMG, they are headed for Texas. Truth is, my personal opinion is that a large portion of those leaving Arizona have already turned up in Houston. Houston is known for having some kind of jobs and being large enough not to notice an influx. I go by how many gangs of workers are standing around on certain street corners waiting for contractors and others to pick them up for day labor. Its crowds of them these days. You can’t pull up in a pick up without a bunch of guys running up asking if you have work. I kinda feel sorry for these guys. They really are just trying to work. Other clues jump out at you. Go to a resale shop and it is literally full to the seams with little Mexican ladies and their kids. But one has to figure that a small migration like this will bring workers, families, and unsavory elements as well.

Just use the Arizona law and insert our state name in appropriate places. While you are at it, push for Voter ID. Illegals or anyone else can register in texas without ID and then vote without ID. Bill Richardson made a law about 2003 granting the exact same driver license to any illegal applicant. After you receive your ID you can then register to vote. As a tax payer you also pay for all social services and medial services with question of legal status. Your value as a legal American citizen in this state means nothing to this governor.

I have an idea; Pass an AZ-style law in every state and watch all of the illegals move to Kahleeforkneeyah. yeah fat chance. Janet Napalitano, current head of Homeland Security, was our Governor. She thinks the border is “more secure now than it has ever been”. Now, that statement right there tells you that she is either a liar or a complete moron. I believe she is the same liar she was when she was governor of AZ. she did nothing for border security. she just allowed this to get completely out of hand. big show of putting the NG on the border was just that, a big show. they weren’t allowed to interdict. they were unarmed. while the criminals flowing across the border are armed with full auto weapons. we now have enormous swaths of public land which are under the control of the drug cartels and no-go areas for citizens. These lands are not “on the border” but up to 80 (EIGHTY) miles north of the border and onmly 30 miles south of the state capital, Phoenix, which also happens to be the fifth largest city in the USA as well as the kidnapping capital of the USA. Interstate 8 is no longer safe to travel. Interstate 10 is next – it’s not that much farther north.

I am well aware of the he!! you are going thru in AZ. as I am watching closely the events taking place down there. I am also aware Brewer only signed this law and didn’t write it and is just a typcal polititian. It’s too bad you guys are suffering the most from this invation but many of the illegals are just using AZ. as a entrance point to get in and keep going. I live in WA. and whole towns are being overtaken by illegals and nothing more gets done about it here than where you are. All construction has been overtaken by illegals as well as landscaping, maid services, fasat food restaurants and resaurants in general etc. The take over a industry and make it as unpleasant as they can for any non-illegal to work. Of cource you already know this, but I am just pointing out it is a nationwide problem. I only hope Arizona’s law will FINALLY bring about some action.
