If these people ever had to live or work in the proximity of polar bears they wouldn’t be quite so fond of them. They are huge, smart, mean and destructive. They break into houses and tear the hell out of things, kill pets, walk on (and crush)cars and interfere with normal day to day activities of humans. The people that live around these creatures, Inuit and non-Inuit peoples alike, want to REDUCE their numbers.

Species died, evolved, and people migrated to different climates to continue to exist. Scientists think that polar bears are in fact brown bears, which evolved very quickly in order to survive. Likely the reason for bears falling from the sky is this: AL Bore was tooling about in his Falcon jet and found a polar bear had snuck on board and was eating Al’s caviar and drinking Al’s Brandy.
