Barbie, I don’t mean to cut in on your glowing account of how California has led the nation in so many progressive ways for the U.S. But if the rest of the nation followed California’s example in managing their fiscal responsibilities we would all be bankrupt.
I am all for progress, and growth. But I do not believe that we have to change our nation into a wannabe Euro-state to do it. California has many, many problems and not too many answers to solve them at the moment. I know, my sister lives there. It has lost many major industries which have moved to other states to avoid the out of control taxes on these business. I don’t even want to go into the problems due to the unchecked illegal immigration either. Yes, California has a lot to be proud of. But I could hardly use it as an example to base the rest of the country on at this time. In all due respect.

I am rotflmao at Barbie!!!! California is reaching the point where it will be mainly comprised of latinos, (mostly ILLEGALS), the Hollywood crowd, and (lying) politicians. Tens of thousands of CITIZENS have moved out of the state, as well as companies by the dozen (many of which went to Vegas).
It is a democrat state and everyone knows democrats are, for the most part, high-school dropouts, illegals that are allowed to vote even tho they have no right to, and minorities.
