We need to be careful that we are not overly confident. Generic polls support us, but local elections are actually closer, so we need to keep up the message, and we need to continue to encourage conservatives as a whole to illustrate the fundamental difference between the right and the left. And that difference is, conservatives believe in individual liberty and free will, and using that to lift yourselves up, while the Democratic message is that the state will wipe your ass for you. That fundamental difference needs to be driven all the way until the election.
On a related note, conservatives need to pay closer attention to public education, as that is the prime vehicle that liberals are using to fundamentally change what young people (read: future voters) feel about this country.
