Only the unhinged leftwingnuts fell for the empty promises of Obama and now they are finally starting to realized that they have been scammed. The self proclaimed intellectual democrat party has turned out to be quite stupid after all. No shocker.

H2K   November 4th, 2009 - 3:17 pm

Chuck, even an intellectually g@y man as yourself should have realized more than a year ago that there is a Core Set of Principles.
1) reduce the US standing as a military superpower
2) reduce the US standing as an economic superpower
3) put more citizens on the government dole
4) increase the percentage number of non-taxpaying voting Americans
5) special dispensation for the core constituencies: labor unions, teacher’s unions, higher ed, minorities
6) continue to demonize traditional American values: hard work, individualism, risk taking, profit

An average person such as myself could see this from the first Obama speech. A well connect intellectual like yourself couldn’t see it.

Where and how did you miss this? Chuck? Chuck?

doogle   November 4th, 2009 - 3:20 pm

That’s sad isn’t it? The left is only just starting to figure out that Obama pulled the wool over their eyes.

Better late than never, I guess.

Cold Warrior   November 4th, 2009 - 3:43 pm

Are you tired of the Obama Marxist cabal? Want to DO SOMETHING real to make sure there are clear choices at the ballot box in 2010 and 2012? Then you have to do SOMETHING THAT MATTERS: it’s called party politics. You can’t rely on the Republican Party to give you conservative candidates — you have to make sure the conservative candidates in the primaries win the primaries.

Tea Parties are fun and exciting, but without actual participation in party politics nothing will change. The congresscritters could care less that you are holding a sign at a Tea Party or calling and faxing their offices. What they FEAR is a real threat in the primary by a conservative candidate who has been endorsed by the Republican Party. Who makes the endorsements? A conservative majority in the voting ranks of the Party.

Who are the voting members of the Party? Precinct committeemen. HALF the slots are VACANT in the Republican Party. The half that are filled are split 50-50 between moderates/liberals and conservatives. Faux conservative Michael Steele is a reflection of that split. The voting members of the Party elected him.

Want to be part of a real political revolution? Conservative? Then spend about an hour a month of your time being a precinct committeeman. Isn’t your country and liberty worth that?

NOW!

Thank you.

News Flash. The American left is shocked to find out Obama was not lying for them, but to them. Film at 11:00 12:00 1:00 2:00 3:00 and on and on and on…..

J.B.H.   November 4th, 2009 - 3:46 pm

Obama is now like the Black guy in your office.
He was pleasant enough at first, said all the right things, and everybody liked him.
Then he commenced farting, both loudly and pungently.
Next, you noticed office supplies missing, and this stopped whenever he went on vacation.
Then he started making promises about his work goals that everyone knew he couldn’t possibly keep.
Next, he commenced farting once again, and this time everyone fled their cubicles for the nearest hazmat center.
Finally, the workers took a vote, and he was fired.

“I think he’s struggling to translate that to policy.”

Thankfully…

yo   November 4th, 2009 - 4:08 pm

Wait “Hope” isn’t a strategy? What about “Change”? Obama has policy they just don’t want to admit it. Marxism you can believe in. Social Justice is the new word for Marxism.

Other   November 4th, 2009 - 4:22 pm

OK. I’m definitely an H2K fan

Jeremy S.   November 4th, 2009 - 4:26 pm

“No core set of principles” says Chuck Todd? Why should he be alarmed??? Obama is a pragmatist,he has said so himself. In fact all progressives and their secular-humanist brethren are pragmatists at heart. The only core principle of a progressive is not to have any. Their game is about deciding which mask to put on asking “how can we fool ‘em today???”

Zonie   November 4th, 2009 - 4:46 pm

Hope all those Obama supporters held on to those blue “CHANGE” signs…they’ll come in handy in three years.

CORE PRINCIPLES & MORE   November 4th, 2009 - 4:56 pm

H2K noted several “core principles”:

1) reduce the US standing as a military superpower
2) reduce the US standing as an economic superpower
3) put more citizens on the government dole
4) increase the percentage number of non-taxpaying voting Americans
5) special dispensation for the core constituencies: labor unions, teacher’s unions, higher ed, minorities
6) continue to demonize traditional American values: hard work, individualism, risk taking, profit

Then there is:
7) Destroy free speech & freedom of the press & air waves by demanding so-called “DIVERSITY”
8) Grant AMNESTY to ILLEGAL ALIENS, thus expanding the Demo voting base
9) Legislate MANDATORY HEALTH CARE SYSTEM that infantilizes every U.S. RESIDENT (not necessarily CITIZEN) & strips them of their privacy & self-sovereignty (and eventually their high-quality health care)
10) ENACT MORE PRO-GAY LEGISLATION to further erode morality & decency in America
11) ROB THE RICH & REWARD THE SLOTHS
12) Fan flames of RACIAL HATRED & DIVISIVENESS to divert the people’s attention away from govt.’s misdeeds…
13) LOOT THE TILL & SPEND LIKE THERE’S NO TOMORROW
14) PERSECUTE & DEMONIZE & LEGISLATE AGAINST CHRISTIANITY & CHRISTIAN TENETS OF FAITH (label Christian beliefs & speech “hate crimes”…)

Forget anything? If so, please continue the list…

Webster   November 4th, 2009 - 5:40 pm

I love those Core Beliefs, how sadly true.

roxie s   November 4th, 2009 - 5:43 pm

Hey Chuck, ya think?! The left thinks the truth is subjective. Conservatives hold to a commonality in our beliefs that are not open for debate. It infuriates us when they argue the definition of “is”. Argue truth?! The weight of trying to control the values and morality of Americans will cause them to collapse in confusion, and eventually, defeat. The pres is trying to rally jello or mercury. It just ain’t gonna happen folks… if we preservere!

#########################################################

My whole house stay home yesterday and didn’t vote , And we all voted for President Obama ,

My brother is uposet we still at war , he voted for Obama thinking the troops would be home in a month or 2 and was shock when obama approve 90+ billion for more war , I on the other hand wanted Universal single payer healthcare like they have in canada and france but was let down by Obama saying that wouldn’t work here , How does he know that! ,

Anyhow i was ready to settle for a robust public option , now that seems to be DILUTED to the point of being a joke , Seems like the insurance companies won again by being in the pockets of these politicans .And the SAD part is .. the DEMS control congress, i could understand if the Republicans had numbers to block things , but the Democrats are spinless and we give them a mandate, and then have to put up with bluedogs/sellouts.

Obama is the one that signs the bills , he needed to tell the bluedogs you better fall in line or you will be strip and the DNC will hold off campaign money’ and you will be challenge by a real democrat.
because why have them in the party when they are failling on ISSUES that matter the MOST.

So i wasn’t surprise that many dems stay at home and that includes blacks and latinos.

unless i see some CHANGE in Washington i will not waste my time in going to VOTE for anyone .if the republicans win thats fine i don’t expect anything from them . Right now it feels like Bush NEVER LEFT OFFICE…. NOTHING SIGNIFICANT is getting done.

SteveZ71   November 4th, 2009 - 6:10 pm

Hmmm, I think all the trash talkin on the left (so called MSM) needs to appologize to FOX. And to all them folks who wanted to be a part of history and elected the 1st Black President (no matter what he spoke of and promised) better wake the F up and start voting on those who run on core principles, strong morals and not by the candidates retoric, color of skin, (D), or (R) next to their name. Those that have a brain new the b.s. that spewed from Obama’s mouth was fake and untrustworthy. One look around the people he associated (associates) with should have been enough to raise red flags. Geeeee thanks you Anti-American Pinheads!!!

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!

Ted in Japan   November 4th, 2009 - 7:21 pm

Bravo to H2K!

Excellent post. I couldn’t agree with you more. If Chuck Todd wants to talk about a president with no core principals, Bill Clinton is the gold standard. Obama, however, is no Ol’ Bubba. He is a man on a mission to do exactly what you outlined. He’s not wetting his finger to figure out his next move. He wants to fundamentally transform our country into a just another crumbling marxist/socialist state.

kmichaels   November 4th, 2009 - 8:37 pm

Us Liberals didn’t even know what core values were until some journalist from Fox news asked about it. That was kind of awkward fro awhile. Oh, look, I wrote fro instead of for.

Beverly   November 4th, 2009 - 8:37 pm

h2k….right on! you nailed it.

Rick   November 4th, 2009 - 8:44 pm

But then WTH were those school kids singing about?
Worship him blindly

Eileen for Freedom/Liberty   November 4th, 2009 - 8:57 pm

America…Bilderberg Bush-Obama is a closet Muslim…what they want…he wants!

You know what that is?

To destroy America from within! Plain and simple!

That is why “real” Americans in all parties are standing up and speaking out!

We are here to defend our Republic from the enemy within!

HEY YOU RINOs, THINK YOU ARE SAFE? GUESS AGAIN!

Conservatives and tea party activists already have set their sights on some of the GOP’s top Senate recruits – a list that includes Gov. Charlie Crist in Florida, former Rep. Rob Simmons in Connecticut and Rep. Mark Kirk in Illinois, among others.

Obama is a genius muslim who fooled all the liberals and other idiots and now is incrementally killing America as the liberals want America to be incrementally killed.

Douglas Amos   November 5th, 2009 - 10:00 pm

What? You guys saying Hilary doesn’t love her Bill? No way! Axelnuts ain’t gonna like this. Maybe he can teach Katty some Husein songs or call in the Chicago Rahms to get this all straightened out.

Fred   November 8th, 2009 - 3:49 pm

‘No core set of principles’.

Stunning.

Is that the same as saying Obama has a stone cold heart? No beliefs, no principles….

If you don’t STAND for what you believe in, you will FALL for anything.

Now that sounds JUST LIKE Obama.

KansasGirl   November 8th, 2009 - 9:25 pm

If you have to “figure” out your core beliefs, then you have none. Dirty rotten communists.
