Now news can be had in many other places, the web has ended their control. One of the most uplifting developments in news delivery to occur in years.
Just think of the serious stories the mainstream news has missed. Van Jones, a truther and avowed communist in the white house. They missed it–Beck didn’t. ACORN–they missed it, but a twenty something with a camcorder didn’t. Presently the vast, liberal news media glazes over any unfavorable dem news. Why do we use the word “journalist” as if this were an individual free from influence of the story he/she is presenting. No human will ever be THAT.
Is FOX fair…I believe so. Is FOX balanced…I would argue that they aren’t. But that’s okay. I get to see a media-outlet with a conservative point of view allow people of other paradigms and perspectives come and express openly their opinion. NOW that is good rhetorical debate. For instance when Sean Hannity had Michael Moore on his program I believe Michael had the stronger presentation even though I was not persuaded to admit he was correct. Sean should have done a better job in his preparation.
This is what the platform of public debate is supposed to do for us the public. For example, during the famous Lincoln-Douglas debates newspapers edited the speeches (from transcripts) of the candidate they supported and left the speech of the other candidate in its rough form…giving the reader the impression that the supported candidate was the more qualified.
Conclusion: News reporters (news presenters) are never free from their own personal bias. But, alas, I am preaching to the choir.

The largest demographic in the adult population [as it relates to electoral voting patterns] are now the independents; by nature, these independents think for themselves, many are involved in small business or have a person close to them that makes a living in small business. They are suspicious of “big-anything”, so the idiocy that has been peddled by both the left and the right in “big-media/news” and “big-government” is not remotely believable to them. Its insulting, so they turn it off and turn away. Presto…there you have it…no trust…no audience…no paying customers [advertisers]…and the Chuck Todd’s are left to “play journalist”, along with all those like him, in the little sand box they have built for themselves.
Keep whinin’, upChuck,….soon you might be asked to be a guest on keith odorman, or maybe ed shoolz, or even ralph madcow……you are about the same calibre and would add to the comedy that is msnbc primetime…..
Oh, Chucky, Chucky, Chucky… You and the other two liberals on this comment board are full up to your hair follicles. It’s pretty hilarious when a Chuck Toad lectures the nation. His network along with CBS and ABC are swirling down the toilet, not because they tell the truth, but because they’ve, without hesitation, revealed themselves to be shills for the liberal, progressive, Marxist, Obama candidacy, election and governing. It takes no effort at all to realize that the CHANGE Obama wants for America isn’t what Americans want for America and you, Chuck, are a cheerleader for Obama and his Change. So, anyone who has a different opinion is somehow insincere and only trying to make money. I’ve sworn off swearing, so let me just say, blow it out your nose.
