No natural resources, virulent forms of islamofascism, proven terrorist centers. Why would we issue a visa to anyone from those countries? But we do. The question is not the airports but who we let in our country. No visa, no getting on an airplane. Nobody wants to talk about this because nobody wants to offend. Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Algeria, Nigeria, Yemen, Somalia,Libya – nobody from these countries (to name but a few) should be allowed a visa to America. Period.

Actually she is correct on both accounts. The system worked in that other flights were alerted quickly and security was immediately tightened unlike the fiasco that occurred in the moments after the 9-11 attack.

She is also correct in that the system failed to identify this guy earlier and should have. So why did it fail? Maybe it failed because there are up to a million names on one of the security lists that Homeland Insecurity has including a bunch of names of people whose names sound like someone else. There are children on this list. How efficient is that? There is an old saying: If everything is important; nothing is important. This applies here. Clean it up or get rid of it.

The corrective action that should be taken is clear. Homeland Insecurity should be dissolved. Its members should return to Treasury, Interior, or wherever they are needed. The one thing that we do not need is another layer of beaurocracy to gum up the works. NO new measures should go into airport security. They do not work and have not worked thus far. Why continue them? If a person is determined to smuggle something on to an aircraft, they will do so and there is very little that you can do to stop them. After the shoe bomber tried using his shoe to bring flammable substances aboard, we had to take off our shoes when checking in. This guy used his underwear. Are we supposed to remove them now? When is it ever enough?

News Flash: Obama Surrenders U.S. Sovereignty: His INTERPOL Executive Order.

Quietly, Obama just made it much easier for the International Criminal Court to go after American “war criminals.” Executive Order – Amending Executive Order 12425 signed December 16th 2009, and released a day later, grants the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) rights on American soil that place it beyond the reach of our own law enforcement agencies, such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Obama’s order removes protections placed upon INTERPOL by President Reagan in 1983. Obama’s order gives the group the authority to avoid Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests — which means this foreign law enforcement organization can operate free of an important safeguard against governmental abuse. “Property and assets,” including the organization’s records, cannot be searched or seized. Their physical locations and records are now immune from U.S. legal or investigative authorities. If the president of the United States i.e. Barack Hussein Obama has an aboveboard reason for making a foreign law enforcement agency exempt from American laws on American soil, it wasn’t shared by others in the White House. Andy McCarthy, former assistant United States attorney for the Southern District of New York and senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, notes at National Review that the limitations that Obama removed are “what prevents law-enforcement and its controlling government authority from becoming tyrannical.” A paragraph later, McCarthy describes Obama’s actions in the starkest of terms:

“This international police force (whose U.S. headquarters is in the Justice Department in Washington) will be unrestrained by the U.S. Constitution and American law while it operates in the United States and affects both Americans and American interests outside the United States.”

Previous administrations have been very leery of signing onto agreements that would make citizens susceptible to the ICC, due to the possibility that U.S. servicemen could be dragged into show war crimes trials. Such events are obviously heavily politicized, and demands for war crimes arrests can come from any government, even those that sponsor terrorism or genocide themselves. No finer point can be made about the endemic problems of the INTERPOL/ICC than that made by a recent diplomatic incident that erupted in Great Britain, where an Israeli government official had to cancel travel plans to England because of an arrest warrant issued by an English judge — because of Iranian charges of Israeli war crimes in Gaza. The brief but intense conflict was one Iran helped instigate, as the Persians supplied the terrorists in Gaza with the rockets they used against Israeli civilians, triggering an inevitable Israeli response. If President Obama and his radical allies in the Democratic leadership have their way, American soldiers could presumably be brought up on charges as war criminals by enemy nations and marked for arrest and deportation by an international police force on American soil. They would face charges in a foreign land without the constitutional protections they fought and bled to protect. The White House seems to be on the bewildering path of giving al-Qaeda terrorists who murder innocent women and children more legal protection than the very soldiers that risk their lives trying to bring terrorists to justice. The asinine court-martial charges being brought against three Navy SEALs based upon the word of a terrorist they captured suddenly make a sickening kind of sense.

It also stands to reason that Obama’s seeming willingness to put American soldiers’ lives in the hands of a corrupt international community could also be brought to bear against his political enemies. Foreign investigators of dubious intent, and our own left-wing extremists, have long branded officials of the previous administration “war criminals” for actions they’d taken in the war on terror. It is entirely conceivable — perhaps even likely — that these same organizations and enemy governments that went after 25 Israeli government officials through INTERPOL and the ICC would quickly move to indict a wish list of current and former U.S. government officials for alleged “war crimes.” Former President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney would obviously be at the top of such a list of politically motivated suspects, but such a list could just as easily include General David Petraeus, Defense Secretary Robert Gates, congressmen, and senators.

As the Iranian gambit has shown, Obama’s bizarre assault on U.S. sovereignty could have disastrous repercussions. We can only hope that his fetish for weakening this nation can be stopped before American politicians and servicemen are made pawns by our enemies.

On the other hand, it would cost much less than anything else the liberals have proposed since Obama took office, such as TARP, Cap & Trade, current Obamacare plans, etc. and would have the benefit of employing the Darwin principle to upgrade the IQ of American citizens as well as addressing the domestic terrorist problem, as liberals and Muslems would be the impacted domestic demographic.

The clincher for my support would be if in funding such an operation, it was also made a requirement that Members of Congress be required to fly as the common citizens do, utilizing existing domestic as well as our new “L&M” airline, and be banned from government funded private flights.

Who better deserves to undergo our useless TSA frivolities as well as the opportunity to fly L&M airlines?

This could be one government program I could support, at least until we return political leaders with common sense to power.

I am trying to understand the motives of this hapless administration by examining their actions in their own terms of politically correct naïveté. By pretending there is no continuing threat from Al Qaeda and by being quiet about Iraq, they believe the situation will resolve through some sort of miracle. It is sort of like an ostrich with its head in the sand thinking it won’t be consumed when it is dinner time for the lion.

These administration members are a menace to the safety of America and we are being left basically unprotected by incompetants. Here we clearly have an Al Qaeda connected, non-uniformed combatant committing espionage and attempting to murder 300 innocent civilians. Instead of treating him like a spy, they will pretend it is a police issue and award him constitutional protection and an attorney. He should face a military tribunal and, upon conviction, be summarily hanged at Guantanamo.

Napolitano does not even qaulify to take a post in public relation for the Obama administration. It is a joke, on the expenses of American life and security, to appoint her to head DHS.

This woman is a disgrace to the United States and should be fired immediately. How can any other nation be held accountable for security when we have such a dimwit in charge of our’s?

The intelligent way to fight this fight with al-qaeda is to tell the host country that they had better do away with the terrorists’ presence and if not, we will come in and bomb the entire country because we are fed up. If these middle eastern countries let the terrorists in to set up camps, etc. then they must get rid of them….plain and simple. We are fighting a battle in a no win situation. The cheapest and most effective solution for preventing these people from terrorizing America is to simply stop granting them visas to come to America.
