Muslim Women Embrace Burqinis for Modest Swimming Options

AFP: A Paris swimming pool has refused entry to a young Muslim woman wearing a "burqini," a swimsuit that covers most of the body, officials said Wednesday. The pool ban came as French lawmakers conduct hearings on whether to ban the burqa after President Nicolas Sarkozy said the head-to-toe veil was "not welcome" in secular France.

What’s lost in translation is that they are telling the reporter that they don’t see what the big deal is, they take showers like this all the time!

I am blown away that the muslims let the women actually swim, I thought if they showed a toe they get a bullet in the back of the head.” Oh good graces she is showing a ankle ,put her away for 100 years in a dark hole polishing rocks!

What gets me is that the men blame the women for their own lack of self control. A
woman should be able to wear a bathing suit without being looked down on. There are
certainly plenty of modest bathing suits on the market. I’m not saying they should
wear bikinis, but a nice one piece bathing suit is modest enough.
