Saw Andrea Mitchell on this morning’s Today show and in this, her “objective” report for the show’s “news” segment, she noted that Palin spoke to a “friendly audience” unlikely to ask her tough questions and that although Palin has criticized Obama for relying heavily on a teleprompter, Palin had written notes on her hand.
Not surprisingly, Mitchell failed to mention that Obama is so eager to avoid uncritical audiences that he has not held a press conference in 7 months. As for the notes-on-hand mockery — is it really so hard to see that writing a couple of bullet points, so brief they can fit on one’s palm is WAY different from being absolutely dependent on a teleprompter for every public speech?
I’ve known for a while now that NBC is biased, but this was the last straw.

How much can be written on the palm of an average female hand? If Obama tried to write all that is typically on one of his teleprompters, on his skin during a speech, he would have to indecently expose himself for such writings to be readable. Andrea, I think most normal people can differentiate between several ordered sentences or key words used to organize a speech and having to read word for word a speech that someone else wrote. For Pete’s sake, this is public speaking 101.

They see veterans as terroists and loving families as “small minded,” “puritains.”
These are the people who killed American Journalism by perverting it. That’s whay real Americans abhor the “news” industry and reject magazines and newspapers and the broadcast news that, in the words of Cnn founder, Ted Turner, have focused their coverage of freaks and perverts” instead of news that citizens need.
