For a year, now, that photo has been proven fake. Second, the woman in the picture–who is not Sarah Palin–is holding a BB-gun, not a firearm. BBs are propelled by air, not fire. MSNBC, what is that? It certainly does not get enough viewers to rank as a national station, so pay no mind to the shallow, junior-high-school antics they are using against Sarah Palin. Those fools only wish they had half the class she has.
Slow down people, start to think before putting finger to key board. This was a satirical commedy routine and many of those commenting have failed to grasp that. Satirical routines often change words to make them funny, alter photos, misplace the event, etc. – it is normal for satire. Such satirical routines are protected under the Constitution, per the US Supreme Court. Satirical acts have existed almost as long as civilization has existed. Don’t even break a sweat over a satire routine, enjoy it or don’t, it’s just comedy.
Jon Stewart will not say a thing about MSNBC misleading the public like he accused Sean Hannity of doing (Stewart was right) because Stewart and his mislead and under educated audience can find nothing funny about liberals misleading people because to them its a way of life, but its funny when conservatives do it because they are above that and “True Conservatives” rarely knowingly lie to the public.
I watch FOX, CNN and MSNBC. They all have their faults. Unfortunately, the one that says it is: “Fair and Balanced” is neither. Yes, FOX and MSNBC are in a feud, but that does not mean that either does not cover real news or that one or the other is irrelevent. MSNBC often catches FOX news, especially O’Reilly, making small and enormous mistakes and MSNBC seems estatic about it. FOX attacks MSNBC not by showing errors they have committed, but by spewing vitriol against them. CNN, the once great world news station has become an almost unkonwn entity now and with the loss of Lou Dobbs, their last original commentator, they will slip even further down in the ratings. As for those saying MSNBC has a very low number of watchers, often during the last two years MSNBC has had more viewers than FOX and such strong leaders as the O’Reilly Factor has struggled against Countdown with Keith Obermann. I watch many of these shows, tape one while watching the other, etc. and, as an independent (who was a lifelong Republican), try to view them with unbiased eyes and ears. If only many of those on this comment section would do the same.

Jon Stewart comments and ridicules people of all religious, racial and political status. He has often ridiculed Democrats and Independents. However, for the last two years those on the right have opened themselves up (much more often than those on the left) to ridicule. Like most comedians Jon Stewart seizes onto that which openly presents itself to jokes and satire. Sara Palin has stumbled so often and opened up her family to public view so often that she is a major source of routine material. It is her own fault for doing so. Simple self control and thinking before speaking or acting would save her from most future ridicule.
