Mother Won’t Be Charged With Baby’s Death Because of Legal Loophole

“In the state of Virginia as long as the umbilical cord is attached and the placenta is still in the mother, if the baby comes out alive the mother can do whatever she wants to with that baby to kill it. She could shoot the baby, stab the baby. As long as it’s still attached to her in some form by umbilical cord or something it’s no crime in the state of Virginia.“

sick*…… I want to know who those three individuals who opposed changing the law. They should be hung out to dry over this… Absolutely disturbing.

They should be hung out to dry over this

They will be, you have His Word on it, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

dmdaughertyColorado   December 18th, 2009 - 9:58 pm

This is the most horrible thing I have heard of in along time…..and I fear for this country and the things being taught to our young women……
How could such a person do this and not be considered evil or sick….
The pro-choice people will not be heard of on this story…
Sorry to say, this vulgar and immoral action, will be (quietly) applauded in places owned by Libs over this story.
Ladies and Gentleman of America, I give you the Pro-choice agenda and the results….
Sad……

Not only does this sound reasonable, but I don’t think it goes far enough. The “baby” is a non-sentient being until proven otherwise. I think the Romans had it right. They could kill babies. Their civilization lasted much longer than ours ever will. THEY would probably recoil at all the ADULTS we have incarcerated – 3 MILLION! Not only is that a tragedy it is a foolish expense that will eventually help swamp this country in debt.

Time to honor ADULT SENTIENT BEINGS – those that have “promises to keep.” I’m a little sick of this baby-worshipping society – it is making this country far too soft.

mannning   December 18th, 2009 - 10:18 pm

How do you measure the onset of sentience, and, for that matter, what specifically enumerated factors constitute sentience in the first place? You will find that it plots as a hockey stick curve of sentience versus time that begins with conception. The more visible and verifiable factors appear fairly late in the sequence, but these are rather imprecisely measured. If you miss by a fraction of a minute on the wrong side of sentience you are a murderer by the arbitrary standards used today. By the standard of conception you are definitely a murderer to abort. You will have killed a human.

SteveZ71   December 18th, 2009 - 10:23 pm

NEWS FLASH Terry, this isn’t Rome you FREAK!!!!! Your one sick s.o.b just like this women.

Terry   December 18th, 2009 - 11:08 pm

Funny how the RULE OF LAW is deemed a “loophole” by the RULE OF MAN loonies. Which side is EMOTIONALISM on? That is the side of liberalism.

Colascguy   December 18th, 2009 - 11:24 pm

The justification for not changing the law is that it is too close to abortion. These people have no morals. They should all be forced to see the consequences of their actions like the German who were force to go to the concentration camps after the Jewish prisoners were liberated.

Barry   December 18th, 2009 - 11:32 pm

Dear God in heaven, forgive our evil society and those who allow such insane laws to exist. This law can and should be changed immediately. It’s funny how man’s law is arbitrary, but God’s laws are immovable. This baby is now in heaven with all the other aborted and still-born children of the world. It’s just a shame how the state of Virginia can have such a stupid law on the books. God help us!

jujubee   December 18th, 2009 - 11:33 pm

Terry?

Satan?

ChuckyCheese1   December 18th, 2009 - 11:51 pm

This is perfectly logical given the presupposition that God doesn’t exist, or that if he does He has given us no revelation of moral absolutes. It all gets back to world-view: either God and His word on the throne of this world, or man and his arbitrary whims. Give up God and the Bible and there is no ammo our argument against this except emotionalism and your arbitrary morals vs. someone else arbitrary morals. Science and ultrasound can tell you a fetus is a living organism, but it cannot ascribe any inherent value to it, or deem it “sacred.” A fetus, baby, child, unwanted senior, becomes merely a parasite taxing the system. When you give up the battle for the Bible, you might as well wave the white flag in the culture wars – you already lost.

ChuckyCheese1   December 19th, 2009 - 12:03 am

btw: liberals figured this one out a LONG time ago… which is why they seek to remove God and the Bible from every facet of our society. Have conservatives figured it out yet?

Stand up for the Bible conservatives, without it, you are merely a prattling fool clinging to an antiquated past and preventing human progress through obsolete and arbitrary ethics. Even for economics/capitalism you have no argument other than pragmatism (which is also arbitrary).

Terry   December 19th, 2009 - 12:19 am

Pray to babies that don’t even know they exist and sh*t in their diapers. Pray to a magic man in the sky. What a bunch of imbeciles.

jbone   December 19th, 2009 - 12:38 am

why stop with babies.. half our population probably couldn’t “prove” they are sentient beings.. what a stupid asshole you are terry.. quit taking yourself so seriously

Terry is Right   December 19th, 2009 - 2:25 am

I agree with Terry. That is why I voted for Obama. Only useful life is valuable. If you are of no use to society, then that society has a right and a duty to eliminate you. Hitler took this idea from the Romans, but our “Christian” driven western society said that was “wrong”. Well, look at what the world became. I believe Hitler would have created a greater world than what we got now, with wasteful members of our society. Obama understands this princible well. Partial birth abortion sounds bad, but it really is a way to weed out those who are not worthy of life. Obama stood for it. Also, how does a nation based on the selfish belief in “individual and equal rights” elimate those who do not deserve them? With the nationalized healthcare system. With this, a national govermant can withhold healthcare from those who do not deserve it. If it was not in the hands of the government they possible could have obtained care on their own. It should be up to society who lives and who dies, not on a person’s ability to pay for care. You get those who can afford it, but do not deserve it getting it. That is a travesty.

Kagiso Edwards   December 19th, 2009 - 4:04 am

This sucks! Why defend those who kill innocent chidlren?!!! Murder of the innocent that is BEING promoted by our government WHICH is making us a nation of degenerates .. SICK! Cosmic payback is on the way folks ..

BONONO   December 19th, 2009 - 8:47 am

Terry is right about one thing: The Romans would be recoil at all the adults we have in prison. They just crucifed them by the scores. That kept their prisons fairly uncrowded. Maybe we should go back to this superior idea. And “Terry is Right,” I see through your post. Ha Ha.

Brian   December 19th, 2009 - 9:13 am

Jesus loves you Terry. Repent and be saved.

montanarocks   December 19th, 2009 - 9:29 am

“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they say.”

ChuckyCheese1   December 19th, 2009 - 10:38 am

“The “baby” is a non-sentient being until proven otherwise”

Terry is a non-sentient being until proven otherwise. Completely oblivious and unfeeling.

Pete   December 25th, 2009 - 12:00 pm

I for one agree with Terry and “Terry is Right”. Some people really should not be allowed to live and waste society’s resources. But I believe we should start the elimination process with the Terry’s of this world.
