Faiz Shakir thinks so, and he pulls a segment that seems to tout the crowds that greeted Sarah Palin on the stump during the 2008 campaign as throngs that are gathering to purchase Sarah Palin’s book, Going Rogue.

In a clip featured on Fox, anchor Gregg Jarrett describes “pictures just coming into us” as “huge crowds” that have amassed while Palin is “promoting her new book.” The pictures that are supposedly “just coming in” are actually year-old video from the presidential campaign showing bigger crowds than actually were there:

I’ve heard Alice Hoagland several times over the last 8 yrs. While I don’t believe she’s “liberal” in the sense of Code Pink crazies, I have sensed she’s not a Tea Party type either.

However, she has been strong and very consistent on 9/11 and the terrorists. Her civility toward Holder is a reflection of how she always talks (calm, collected, on point, and very polite). I think [if] this video is picked up and played by media (cough) she comes off as someone to pay attention to and not discount as an overly emotional protester-type.

Her phone call with her son Mark Bingham before United Flight 93 crashed in Shanksville was heartbreaking.

Her son Mark, would be proud of his mother, as I am sure she is immensely proud to have had a son like him. He was a hero. She is extremely articulate and expressed her concerns directly, and with respect. I admire her very much. Her comment that there were six prosecutors and TWENTY SIX MEMBERS OF THE DEFENSE TEAM gives us some idea of what we will be dealing with. It was chilling to hear her recount that the human rights advocate was supposedly a member of the department of justice, the very people who will be responsible for bringing these terrorist to justice. I fear more heartache for the families.

I agree with everything she said. Including her last comment. “We will withhold judgment.” If these trials end up with any other verdict except the death penalty, Holder will be held accountable.

Jana, yes Mark Bingham was indeed a hero and we all are rightly proud of him. I doubt that his fellow passengers would have cared if they knew that he was a proud gay American. Eric Holder says, Think about this though, for how long have these cases been pending…” WHAT A HYPOCRITE. They did the bombing during his term as Assistant Attorney General under Clinton. Why did he and his bosses postponed trying this case THEN? His statement that the people in his department will uphold the law, etc. is a fat lie, too. Why did he let the indicted thugs who intimidated voters loose?
