Democrats thrive off of division.

Partial list of items Democrats insist on dividing people over.

1) Race
2) Economic class
3) Sexual orientation
4) Religion
5) Education levels
6) Education subjects
7) Location (what state you live in)

Others I am sure exist as well.

shane7776   September 7th, 2010 - 11:58 am

The Leftist Loony tunes continues. MARXIST=DEMOCRATS=TERRORIST All the same. More proof.

nelan72   September 7th, 2010 - 11:58 am

This is still BS. People who earn $250,000+ would usually have people who earn a wage for them. This brief talk shows how liberals do not understand capitalism.

mustafamonde   September 7th, 2010 - 11:59 am

The spin cycle is stuck on LEFT. Mind you, the class warfare stuff would work a little better if they could get Michele to stop scarfing down all that lobster, whilst Obama runs to the corner store for his Kools in the presidential helicopter.

HeReturnsSoon   September 7th, 2010 - 12:00 pm

Can we get Alfred E. Newman for a Press secretary PLEASE.

RightUnite   September 7th, 2010 - 12:02 pm

And the more you tax the rich, the more it will hurt the poor because the rich are not going to take it. If they are company owners, they will just pass it on to their customers.

Meh88   September 7th, 2010 - 12:05 pm

Wait What??….. Well, if Mr 800K wasn't affected by the economy then he would still be hiring people and spending his money and Mr 40k would still be working. Helloooooo it is all connected. Until these drooling idiots figure this out they are just going to continue to prolong this economic disaster.

Tuco   September 7th, 2010 - 12:08 pm

Statements like this highlight the absolute need to stop this Presidents agenda. This vote in November will be the defining direction our country will take for its future. Last chance America.

OldmanRick   September 7th, 2010 - 12:10 pm

Wow, he is full of himself. Where are the facts to support his statement? My bad. Progressives don't need facts. They just need a teleprompter. Where is Baghdad Bob when we need him? Sounds like a ploy to punish the rich on the extension of the Bush tax cuts by excluding them.

UrinalMint   September 7th, 2010 - 12:16 pm

Booby Gibbs is such a tard
Specializing in the Dimocrapic canard
Thinks the economy does not hurt the rich
However, this statement has a major glitch
In that everyone recognizes it as being pure lard.

welovetheUSA   September 7th, 2010 - 12:16 pm

Considering the rich are only 1% of the population………it does not matter if they hurt or not, its the middle class that supports this country, period. 43% of Americans donot pay taxes………..stop with crying the rich are the bad guys……its the government that is the bad guy who spends the hard working tax payer into several generations..lies…alwyas lies.

antilibtards   September 7th, 2010 - 12:17 pm

Democrats bring nothing positive to the table. They lives are consumed by envy and jealousy.

tflst5   September 7th, 2010 - 12:26 pm

Its the bizzaro world of the Democrat. The rich person who has created jobs, created wealth, created products for consumers to enjoy is demonized while the unemployed free loader who smokes dope and lays on the couch – producing nothing for society and deserving of nothing from society – is romanticized. Watch any movie or television show the establishment has endorsed in the last decade and you'll see this themes. The hero is always a hapless loser stonehead while the villian a rich white capitalist.

Our society is conditioned to simply not care that 43% of them pay nothing and contribute nothing. Its those evil 1% who pay the most taxes that need to do more.

Hailodumbo   September 7th, 2010 - 12:30 pm

That's a terrific book by Amity Shales. It should be required reading by all politicians. it's scary how closely it relates to Obama , his admin. and today's idiots in congress….

Commieobamie   September 7th, 2010 - 12:33 pm

People making zero are hurting most.

Navy Gentleman   September 7th, 2010 - 12:36 pm

Well being an optimist, I would have to say that the trailer to that video was fantastic!

Whoever did that should get a big thumbs up!!!

As far as Gibbs…. They don't know anyone that ONLY makes $800,000.00/year so how could they relate?

As a matter of fact, I remember President Obama saying that he didn't know any plumbers that only made $250,000.00/year. He was literally telling the truth. You would have to be into the serious money before he would claim to know you.

KevinT633   September 7th, 2010 - 12:37 pm

Obama, who made 5 million dollars, last year, is going to watch out for us poor folks. Why does that scare me?

marxfreesociety   September 7th, 2010 - 12:44 pm

Hailo – I agree with you on the book. An absolute eye opener! Along with your suggestion, the politicians should read the Constitution as well. Thanks for the feedback.

'LEAVE NO DEMOCRATZI 'LOON' STANDING IN NOVEMBER'!
———————————————————————————

America..out of the mouths of idiots and traitors to America! People who own the companies…where Americans work…have made money…which in some eyes…makes them rich!

If they cannot expand, if they cannot sell, if they cannot succeed in this poor business environment (created by the Democratzi), they are hurting!

And when they hurt…all of America hurts! The puppet of the Bilderberg…Obama the Bush has an excuse for continuing to spew his lies and deceptions…because he has an agenda to take America down from within!

Ol' Gibby is just a plain baffoon playing second fiddle and doing what he is told to say! He has no miind…he has no feelings…he is just a slave to the Muslim!

RIGHT out of community activist Saul Alinsky handbook, of which Barry the ohBlahblah taught as a visiting professor.,,"if you cant win over the middle class.,,destroy IT".,,I'm paraphrasing. but its close to that.

6musket6   September 7th, 2010 - 1:26 pm

Gibbs is an idiot….any questions?

_Son_of_Liberty   September 7th, 2010 - 1:37 pm

The thing that makes Gibbs so disgusting is that it is plain for anyone with a half-a-clue to see that he derives extreme pleasure from dreaming up these kinds of comments, knowing full well they have no basis in what is better for the country, but endeavoring ONLY to enflame the uneducated masses that he relies on to vote for his masters.

lukuj   September 7th, 2010 - 1:38 pm

Liberal definition of rich: Anyone who does not depend on government, but works, saves, and prefers to make their own decisions not based on what the government says they should think, drink, eat, drive, and believe. Newsflash – the rich are the most impacted since they don’t, for the most part, have government benefits aimed for them and/ or don’t want to access government benefits if at all possible.

Const_Liberta   September 7th, 2010 - 1:56 pm

Tell me, why is Gibbs talking about school superintendents (250k) and former Bell mayor (800k)?

Has everyone heard about the next bailout and where it is really going to go? The government guaranteed
pensions are going under. There is no way to pay for them. Oh well, the first bailout has supposedly not
even been all spent and they are making another. Ask yourself this, why hasn't the first been spent? Does
anyone really believe the first was meant to help the economy? Where did the first one go and where is
this one going to go? Political payback and to democrat voting blocks, that is where. The Chicago way.

MDgal24   September 7th, 2010 - 2:02 pm

And it doesn't work anymore. I have a gay sibling who can't wait to vote the democrats out and a fiance who wasted 17 years of his time and pay on unions and just registered to vote for the first time in his life. As a Republican. I can't stop laughing. Bwaaa haaa haaa!

LibertyWriter   September 7th, 2010 - 2:02 pm

Sure, the recession is not causing rich to cut back on buying eggs, bread and milk; but it is causing them to cutback on capitol investment in their businesses and slow or cut back on hiring or duh — layoff employees. Either these libs are just plain stupid or they are lying thru their teeth. Or maybe they are just stupid liars.

nomname   September 7th, 2010 - 2:03 pm

Well, he may be right in at least one instance, it certainly hasn't put a hurt on the Obama's spending ! Does anyone know how his vacations compare to other White House residents?

MDgal24   September 7th, 2010 - 2:05 pm

Perhaps Obama and the other wealthy democrats in office are thinking that the rest of the rich in America are like themselves, greedy. They keep the wealth and employ no one, and produce nothing but hot air.

buford12345   September 7th, 2010 - 2:06 pm

Gibbs is wrong about it hurting the middle class, It is KILLING the middle class especially since we will be paying for the healthcare of Muslims. No muslim will have to pay a dime for healthcare in the US. Muslims consider it gambleing to pay insurance. Amish are also included. I guess all the non christians will now convert to Islam to save 3000.00 per year. Look it up if you dont believe this.

Deusexmachina   September 7th, 2010 - 2:07 pm

sorebird   September 7th, 2010 - 2:48 pm

Someone should tell Baghdad Bob Gibbs that it doesn't hurt poor people when someone makes 250K, 300K or 600K.

Warmingsmorming   September 7th, 2010 - 2:48 pm

What we need is more families making over $100,000.00 not less libtard. As a guy that owns a small glass company I would like to state in writing that I Looooove rich people and wish everybody was rich! They hire us to install expensive shower doors, mirrors, hand rails ,large windows that overlook oceans and golf courses etc.etc, I hire employees to do the work . They pay taxes I pay taxes and my employees pay taxes. Thats how it works libtard Von Gibells

Holdmynose   September 7th, 2010 - 2:55 pm

Ok, enough with the rich who at least produce, and consume. What about the voluntary poor who refused a free education in order to start families they will never be able to support. Who only take from others and contribute nothing to society. THEY are the good guys? Not in my book. I'm really tired of this demonizing achievers.

PilgrimPatriot   September 7th, 2010 - 3:04 pm

Gibbs does talk from his ass quite a bit.
You have most likely seen my post

Gibbs and Goebbs have the same
meaning, meaning bold, as in
bold faced liar. We all remember
Goebbels.

kmichaels   September 7th, 2010 - 3:13 pm

Economically, the rich, during downturns, end up less able
to make jobs for the poor and the middle class. So yes,
they don't go without food, but them having less money
means our nation goes without jobs.

kmichaels   September 7th, 2010 - 3:14 pm

kmichaels   September 7th, 2010 - 3:16 pm

A simple rule of economics is that
if ever a person needs a job
they wish that there were more
rich people or more rich companies
to hire them.

They never wish that there were
more poor people.

kmichaels   September 7th, 2010 - 3:17 pm

If a person trained at making cars is ever out
of a job, do you think they ever wish there
were more small companies around to hire him?
No, they wish there were more large car companies
around, capable of hiring them.

kmichaels   September 7th, 2010 - 3:19 pm

If a steel worker were out of a job they
don't look around, wishing there were
more people making under 200K
per year, thinking they might be
able to hire them. No, they look for
richer people, making more than 200K
a year, being able to hire more
steel workers.

Silhouettes1787   September 7th, 2010 - 4:30 pm

Obam's Administration seems to be very "detail-oriented" and controlling, so I can't imagine that they aren't aware of how many wealthy Americans are emmigrating to other countries with more favorable tax laws and even renouncing their U.S. citizenship. There were three times as many in 2009 than 2008. Will there be 3X as many or more in 2010? Weathy people don't stay that way by being stupid or naive.

truthmarch   September 7th, 2010 - 8:02 pm

Hugely false and stupid comment from the White House. Whom they define as "the rich" happens to include a very large percent of small business owners. They are the engine of the economy. Also, many of these people defined as rich don't benefit from taking their salary off the top. They either have to plow it back into their business or use to pay off bills, including large tax bills.

This is the lie they don't want you to notice. One way or another they always end up targeting business, which invariably kills jobs.

Danw13   September 7th, 2010 - 8:43 pm

I never got a job form a poor person !!! No disrespect to the working poor or poor people in general but its fact Time to listen up there Gibb's !!!

You know, there was an episode of 'Malcom in the Middle' where Malcom was dating this really, really dumb chick…
and his nerves were tested to the brink because of her stupidity- but, he wanted to make out with her.
At the lockers at school, the girl said, "I wish everybody would have a million dollars, then we'd all be millionaires'.
Malcom bit his tongue, tried not to roll his eyes or slap her, and just ended up saying, "Yeah".

That's one of those things that I think of when obama and his dolts address the economy- get rid of all the rich people,
then if there's no rich people, how could there be poor people?

friggin' commie idiots.

It's a shame there isn't a rubber room big enough in Washington to put these clowns in! To see gibbs defend his MARXIST-IN-CHIEF on a daily basis, while the deficit spending continues, unemplyment goes up, and the INCOMPETENCE of this administration is almost comical. If gibbs had any self respect, he would resign immediately and admit his boss is OneBigAssMistakeAmerica!

How long are we, the American public, going to stand for this class warfare? How about a fair, flat tax so we all have skin in the game? The more you earn, the more you pay but you pay no more or less a percent of income than anyone else? Though I am not in the income bracket affected by this debate, I cannot help but take a step back and ask WHY are we demonizing people who have worked hard and sacrificed to attain a certain income level AND are the very ones currently paying the VAST majority of all taxes for ALL Americans as it is. Is the average American so consumed by envy of those who earn more through hard work that they see absolutely nothing wrong with STEALING yet more hard earned money from a fellow American? What will happen when these high income earners get sick and tired of carrying the lazy, ungrateful, entitled masses they have and continue to support through taxes/redistribution/job creation and cut back their productivity or "go galt" in disgust until the masses awake and realize they have bit the hand that feeds them?

PaBowHunter   September 8th, 2010 - 6:04 am

So if you make $250,000 a year you are now rich, huh? Gibbs initially said 250K, but then he realized he erred, so he used his forked tongue and raised the number to 800K. Truthfully, these people want to create two classes of people: the very rich and everyone else who will be poor. The population is much easier to control under those socioeconomic conditions.

dallenh   September 8th, 2010 - 6:17 am

The problem is that all the idiots in Washington that are setting policy "MAKE MORE THAN $250,000" per year. Do you think Obama, Kerry, Frank, etc. really care if the countries economy is in the toilet? Nope.. because as Gibbs stated… They are not really impacted. Prime example, John Kerry's new Yacht.

Diptera   September 8th, 2010 - 12:01 pm

Just the other way around, buckwheat.

Jobs are disappearing because rich people who own businesses are afraid to hire due to uncertainty over which way comrade MaoBama will jump with taxes, regulations, and outright confiscation.

When rich people are confident about the future direction these commie college professor advisers of MaoBama are taking us, the need to hire new employees to run businesses will return.

Diptera   September 8th, 2010 - 12:06 pm

We are seeing a repeat of the destruction of our middle class just as happened in Cuba when the commies took over there and murdered over 70,000 Cubans that included doctors and educators and clergy and most the rest of the middle class that kept the Cuban economy floating. Now they have only 2 classes – the ruling commie party and the poor. And they blame it on the US, just like comrade MaoBama blames everything on the US.

Rules for Radicals: A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals is the last book written by community organizer Saul D. Alinsky before his death in 1972. Published in 1971, it was Alinsky's attempt to impart his theory and methods of organizing to the current generation of young activists, largely drawing upon his own experiences.

The book opens with a mention of Lucifer reading:

"Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history… the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer."

Lucifer is POTUS now…
