Moment of Silence for Jackson Left Democratic Congressman ‘Close to Nauseated’

"I think there were a lot of people who were disgusted by it."

BWAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hahahahahhahahahaa!!!

You gotta love the LEFT-WING LUNATIC FRINGE.

Ron Reale   June 30th, 2009 - 12:01 pm

At least someone else had the good sense to be disgusted, but what can you expect from a body that is trying to make complaining about a pedophile, hate speech. The children that complained, or their parents, would be jailed for outing a Jackson or similar pervert, because, under the hate crimes law, they have a right to be molesters, and you violate their privacy by complaining.
The lawmakers that stood silent are disgusting, and certainly are not representative of the (normal)people.

To Mary Pat Jordan (I can’t even type that without laughing)

Anyway, this thread is about Congress and Jackson. So, as well a being a LEFT-WING WACK JOB you must be a gold plated simpleton as well. Are you lost?

You gotta love the LEFT-WING LUNATIC FRINGE

Hypocrisy rules in the GOP!   June 30th, 2009 - 12:16 pm

What you really got to love is the right wing hypocrites who condemn everyone else while praising Jesus (and looking for their pants)! You want the GOP to come back? Try this:

a) Stop criticizing others about infidelity while boinking bimbos on the side.
b) Stop trying to codify morality while piddling little boys.
c) Keep your wide stance to yourself!
d) Stop trying to stymie medical research over some arcane religious value system.
d) Stop cutting revenue (taxes) while increasing spending.
e) Stop the patriotic flag-waving while starting unnecessary wars that kill our troops.
f) Stop preaching about abstinence being the best form of birth control while you and your daughter conceive out of wedlock. Right, Sarah?

How’s that for starters? It would be a big improvement.

BWAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hahahahahhahahahaa!!!

You gotta love the RIGHT-WING LUNATIC FRINGE.

Summer   June 30th, 2009 - 12:33 pm

Our Congress is full of overgrown, emotionally half-baked, disturbed little children posing as adults.
Of course they would offer a moment of silence to one of their spiritual peers.

GOP: Grand Old Perverts!   June 30th, 2009 - 12:42 pm

What you really got to love is the right wing hypocrites who condemn everyone else while praising Jesus (and looking for their pants)!

Eric Robinson   June 30th, 2009 - 12:58 pm

The difference between Liberals and Conservatives is, Liberals celebrate, defend and promote deviant behavior, while Conservatives know that they are wrong, whether they themselves are flawed or not. Think of it this way. You have to sets of parents, one Conservative, and one Liberal. Both sets of parents consume alcohol, and enjoy sex. The difference is, the Conservative parents don’t ask their school aged kids to join in, when they throw a party.

Tika   June 30th, 2009 - 1:03 pm

Nothing wrong with paying some respect for the dead. If they had not done that before for people other than their peers, then shame on them.

smearjay   June 30th, 2009 - 1:36 pm

Would the Democrat’s still had a “moment of silence” for Michael Jackson if he had been convicted of being a Pedophile? I bet they would have. Maybe the Republicans should have a “moment of silence” for Jackson’s victims.

GOP: Grand Old Perverts!   June 30th, 2009 - 2:17 pm

The Republicans should have a “moment of silence” for the passing of the GOP’s moral character!

dr jay   June 30th, 2009 - 2:37 pm

tika, why respect the dead when they do not deserve it in life.

Hypocrisy Rules 12.16pm

Don’t worry L’Arse we’re going go have a moment of silence when your next gerbil dies.

By the way, we know how much you LEFT-WING WACKOS hate being ridiculed. So, if you want to avoid ridicule you should refrain from plagiarizing the other guy. It just makes you look LEFT WING STUPID and it might be more trouble. It ruined Biden.

What did you expect?   June 30th, 2009 - 2:51 pm

Sour Grapes,
Hickok = sophomoric

Keith   June 30th, 2009 - 2:58 pm

Congress should take more moments of silence. Then there would be less time for them to spend our tax dollars.

TGC   June 30th, 2009 - 3:08 pm

I wish congress and this joke of a president would take a long moment of silence…about 4 years.

youridiots   June 30th, 2009 - 3:08 pm

so which is worse having morals and ethical standards that you aim for but fall short of or having none at all and criticizing the other guy that he can’t meet his?

Zero   June 30th, 2009 - 3:10 pm

Well in Portland, OR it’s the trendy lefty gay mayor who has been piddling boys,
not the occassional conservative (ain’t many left in politics here). And of course
before him we had Neil Goldsmidt, mayor and then Gov. of the state who was screwing
his 14 year-old babysitter. At least the Ensign and Standford were
not screwing kids, like you Donks love to.

And what about the constant stream of bribery convictions. Lets see, you
got Jefferson of LA. on trial for the $90,000 in marked bills he took from
some Nigerian. You’ve got Conyers wife pleading guilty to felony bribery,
and some real tough questions leading back to Conyers himself, you got the Gov.
of Illinois giving Senate seats to an unqualified dolt for money, and he’s
sitting there in your caucus.

As long as Congressmen or anyone else confine their sexual exploits to consenting
adults I have no problems with it. Sadly many Democrats seem unable to meet this
“common sense” limitation.

I am zero tolerance for bribery and stealing from the public. Sadly, this seems
to be a ‘business as usual’ practice in the Donk party.

Big Dog   June 30th, 2009 - 3:12 pm

I agree completely. People are acting like he cured cancer or something.

Adam   June 30th, 2009 - 3:14 pm

“) Stop preaching about abstinence being the best form of birth control while you and your daughter conceive out of wedlock. Right, Sarah?”….I love this one. Actually abstinence does in fact work when practiced…..and clearly the sex education in schools does as well since they have 1.5 million teenage pregnancies a year. While informing children about abstinence is not always followed through by them it is clearly just as true that showing children how to put condoms on doesn’t fair any better.

Heal thyself!   June 30th, 2009 - 3:15 pm

If you can’t meet your “morals and ethical standards”, don’t presume to tell me what mine should be!

JD   June 30th, 2009 - 3:18 pm

Gee, why not offer a moment of silence for all the men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan? Who payed the ultimate price.
Instead of some pedophile, overdosed wanna be white boy.

ScottW   June 30th, 2009 - 3:19 pm

Funny. The stupid Congress will do a moment of silence for an entertainer but generally pukes all over those who sacrifice their lives for their country.

SilentAl   June 30th, 2009 - 3:20 pm

Being “accused” of and “convicted” of are two entirely different things get a grip america

Andrew Jackson   June 30th, 2009 - 3:22 pm

Is it true that Michael will give his last live performance at his funeral? Will they help him put the glove on?

big b   June 30th, 2009 - 3:22 pm

Moral character? This coming from a whack job liberal who supports that pos in the white house who, along with congress, is azz raping our country????

Redford   June 30th, 2009 - 3:24 pm

Hi,’Doctor!
love your photo…now go heal some people.ok/

ken newton   June 30th, 2009 - 3:26 pm

A moment of silence for Michael Jackson? What about giving 5 days for congressman time to read a 1500 page bill, that effects everyone in this country, including our future…but we find time for Michael Jackson, who had plenty of time in the spotlight….wtf

William   June 30th, 2009 - 3:27 pm

Heal thyself!

“If you can’t meet your “morals and ethical standards”, don’t presume to tell me what mine should be!”

I can tell you anything I want–remember the 1st Ammendment? I just can’t make you listen. But I don’t really care either.

Midway Island   June 30th, 2009 - 3:34 pm

The “moment of silence” is for the death of our Republic.
The Sith have won.

gho   June 30th, 2009 - 3:38 pm

I love the name calling here.

Can we be any more childish with the name calling and crap slinging?

You people on both sides are pathetic.

Cheyenne   June 30th, 2009 - 3:39 pm

Why is anyone surprised (or disgusted) that the Democrats would eulogize a weird pervert? Just consider Bill Clinton and all he did to women other than his wife. He’s the only President to be accussed of rape!! Yet, he remains a Democrat icon, loved and respected by those who know all about a long string of women that so far publicly ends with Lewinsky. The others have not yet come to light.

Heal thyself!   June 30th, 2009 - 3:39 pm

You are absolutely right, William. You are free to shoot your loud, hypocritical mouth off. And I can consider the source and ignore your dumb butt! If you don’t care, then why comment?

mike jackson   June 30th, 2009 - 3:40 pm

You will all be starving soon beause of the leaders you all support. You will be at the mercy of the goverment and they will show you no mercy. You will all be dead like Jackson soon.

Norm   June 30th, 2009 - 3:40 pm

To Ken Newton 3.26pm

Attaboy Newt, wish I’d said that.

They take our salary check and stand silent for a dead KOOK but don’t bother reading the bills they’re paid to read before they vote on them.

Liberal = Negligent

Larry Croft   June 30th, 2009 - 3:42 pm

I just woke from a week long drunken binge to learn the high pervert Michael Jackson died. Great news!!

Tolerant?   June 30th, 2009 - 3:42 pm

“You gotta love the RIGHT-WING LUNATIC FRINGE.”
Gee, you sound really tolerant yourself. Heck you sound like you might be on a fringe, too. By the way, Praise the Lord! My pants are firmly affixed, but then why were you looking?

You’ve got to (“gotta”) love people with nothing better to do than than generalizing others in an inflammatory manner. Oh, hey, and I’m not a Republican, either. I don’t trust either party and I think the lot of them ought to have term limits. I also have many gay friends. I also love Jesus. What? I don’t fit your stereotype? STOP OVERUSING YOUR CAPS LOCK and OVERPUNCTUATING!!!!!!

shoalsnh   June 30th, 2009 - 3:43 pm

Leftiws would be the ones who want to have a moment of silenc for a freak who bought off all of the people who caught him molesting their children. And as far as Repubs having sex with women that at least is straight. But then again you have the King S###ball John Edwards who puts all other pols to pale with having an affair, fathering a child and now there is a video of his sexual activities. This against a woman who is very ill. Way to go Libs, you have reached a new low.

Jefferson Davis   June 30th, 2009 - 3:44 pm

Even though it’s a DEMOCRAT who is rightfully nauseated the COOL AID DRINKERS will find some way to blame it on the GOP instead of there own whack job METROSEXOFASCIST party and there new messiah OBAMANATION OF DESOLATION! Gotta laugh about that! Have fun circle jerking each other!

Bawny Fwank   June 30th, 2009 - 3:48 pm

I would like to propose a moment of silence for the American economy under these democrats.

FiringSquad   June 30th, 2009 - 3:52 pm

DID SOMEBODY SAY LARGEST TAX INCREASE IN HISTORY OF THE WORLD !?!?!?

QUICK, PRAY TO SAINT MICHAEL ! ! ! ! ! ! !

How STUPID ! ! ! ! !

Swibbie   June 30th, 2009 - 3:53 pm

“gho”, I bet you are not even smart enough to see the irony in your own post.

Let me give you a clue: Lecturing people about name-calling by calling them names is what I find “childish” and “pathetic”.

savage24   June 30th, 2009 - 3:57 pm

Accused but not convicted! This shows that justice is not only blind but selective and not always just. Justice has become a joke, it all boils down to who you are , not guilt or innocence. Law enforcement has become nothing more then revenue enhancement. Putting child molesters in jail cost money, arresting jaywalkers makes money. The courts are just as sick as the child molesters!

timmbo   June 30th, 2009 - 3:58 pm

Geez, you guys will find anything to name call, and put each other down. Im not a fan of Michael Jackson’s personal choices in life, but is it a reason for this childish fighting between left and right wing? I think not. Im gonna remember MJ for his talent, instead of what was never proven.

So what if the left and right wing dont agree, you people are acting like a bunch of 3 year olds in daycare fighting over who ate the last cookie. Its pathetic. Grow up.

nancy   June 30th, 2009 - 3:58 pm

I am offended by this.Congress has gone out of their minds.

Response to "Hypocrisy rules in the GOP!"   June 30th, 2009 - 3:58 pm

I guess to be a hypocrite, you have to have values and standards in the first place.
Also, i guess that a handful of people represent a group of people…

Shelly   June 30th, 2009 - 4:01 pm

HA HA HA!!!!!!! LEFTWING MOONBATS!
OMG I CAN HARDLY STAND IT THEY ARE SO RETARDED

Patrick   June 30th, 2009 - 4:04 pm

Oh, why did the silencing of Congress have to be for just one minute? Make it permanent.

Chukkalady   June 30th, 2009 - 4:05 pm

MJ was a child molester and a pervert! Welcome to congress!

Kathy   June 30th, 2009 - 4:05 pm

Well, we have a show biz president and a circus in Washington so why not a moment of silence for MJ.

Kimberly W   June 30th, 2009 - 4:05 pm

When a Democrat who takes his directions from Nancy Pelosi says he is “almost” nauseated it has to be something special.Birds like that obviously don’t nauseate easily

Nancy Pierogi   June 30th, 2009 - 4:07 pm

I think what he meant was that he was nauseated to have to look at Pelosi’s face.

Painter   June 30th, 2009 - 4:10 pm

The difference between us hypocritical, right wing lunatics and you left wing lunatics is, we still realize that there is a right and wrong. It’s easier for you to feel good about yourselves, kids, animals and multiples thereof, are all fine,so go ahead hold your heads high, (above the stench of your depravities).

circle8   June 30th, 2009 - 4:10 pm

ONLY THE LIBERAL CONGRESS OF THE USA WOULD TAKE A MOMENT OF SILENCE FOR A CHILD MOLESTER. WAS THE MOTION CALLED FOR BY BARNEY FRANK?

Jefferson Davis   June 30th, 2009 - 4:13 pm

Yes this is absolutely ridiculous and offensive for Congress to observe a moment of silence for a suspected pedophile and certified nut job and to not observe even a single moment of silence for all of our brave soldiers who have perished in Iraq? That should tell you right there what values the left wing weirdos in control of Congress have which is absolutely none except for child weirds who have had plastic surgery!

Rhyno   June 30th, 2009 - 4:17 pm

“The US Open was on and we went there (to the cloakroom) to watch that…”
So, instead of making the decisions that affect millions of Americans, you were hiding in a closet watching golf? Who is this guy?
I don’t agree with the moment of silence thing, either, but… golf? Really?

farmhouse   June 30th, 2009 - 4:19 pm

…and Bawny dropped to his knees.

Pat Scot   June 30th, 2009 - 4:19 pm

Why isn’t John Ziegler getting credit for this?

Michelle   June 30th, 2009 - 4:20 pm

That moron at 2:16 won’t be laughing that hard this winter when he freezes to death because he won’t be able to afford the electric bill.

i'm just sayin"   June 30th, 2009 - 4:21 pm

Hey “Hypocracy rules in the GOP”

I agree with everything you tried to say…when its applied to goofy libs.

Typical dem – take your own faults and lay them on your “enemy”.

You are a sick emmer effer and what’s wrong with you is exactly what’s wrong with this country.

Jefferson Davis   June 30th, 2009 - 4:21 pm

Not in prayer though

Mike   June 30th, 2009 - 4:22 pm

What is this talk of “Republicans”? I am unaware of this word. I think I saw it in the dictionary between “Bull Moose” and “Whig”. At least, I may as well have …

Boiler   June 30th, 2009 - 4:25 pm

Glad to see there are some posters on here that are not fans of Michael Jackson’s personal life. Guess not all male adults want to throw pajama parties with pre-teens. Give me a break though about your “never proven” or “never convicted” malarkey. His payoffs to the kids’ families truly show that there is a class divide when it comes to justice.

At least we can remember Michael for being the first celebrity to walk around with his little pet always in his arms. Who would have thought that having your very own Webster would be the precursor to celebrity Chihuahuas?

Joy   June 30th, 2009 - 4:25 pm

Why should this surprise anyone…………. this CONGRESS is so OUT OF IT… that they have NO IDEA what the real world is like. For them to have a moment of silence is disgusting. I don’t think they do that for any MILITARY person that is killed do they ??? That would be more appropriate than for Michael Jackson. Sure he is a LEGENDARY performer, but come on. For Gods Sakes………. he was a child molester, didn’t pay his bills and had other UNCHARACTERISTIC problems. I hope to see some type of PROFESSIONALISM from our Congress people when another celebrity passes away. BUT I WON’T HOLD MY BREATH FOR THAT. I would have become NAUSEATED also if I would have had been in that room too.

Christina   June 30th, 2009 - 4:25 pm

It struck me as a little wierd and I must admit I was surprised since there are so many really pressing things to pay attention to.

OK, so they had a moment of silence! So what! Making a big deal out of anybody’s expression of grief is really out of line. Maybe it made somebody feel a little better that their auspicious body had done a little something, especially since so much grief is evident all over the world. This is outside of politics (at least I hope it is!) I am as right winged as you get and am feeling a little grief for MJ myself– he made such a HUGE contribution to music.

Grief is natural — even for Dems and even if it is a stuffed animal, or a flower, or even a moment of silence.

Doug Ramsey   June 30th, 2009 - 4:26 pm

I hate to be cynical, but it seems you congressional people aren’t getting much done a
anyway.

Keith   June 30th, 2009 - 4:28 pm

Where was the moment of silence for Farrah Fawcett & Ed McMahon. I didn’t read about any leters of condolence being sent to their families from Obama?

DJH   June 30th, 2009 - 4:29 pm

I’m not a republican but it always cracks me up to see idiot liberals whine and cry about hypocrisy. HELLO, POT – look in the freaking mirror.
Democrats in general, AND LIBERALS IN TOTAL are the most intolerant, hate filled, hypocrites but they’re the first ones to point their crooked little finger and start laying blame at everyone else’s feet who doesn’t agree with their sick, twisted, unAmerican idea of what this country is about (ie. entitlement).

And I agree with him that this was ridiculous. it is a shame, BUT HE DID THIS TO HIMSELF, he made himself a laughing stock, he called into question his sanity, etc. How is his death (by his own hand no less) any more tragic than the 10 year old girl shot in Chicago last week – or the football coach in Iowa? IT ISN’T!

How sad and pathetic a life must you lead when the death of someone who didn’t even know you existed and, other than listening to his music, had zero impact on your life affects you so? But then, lib twits by and large think so called celebrities are important when the fact is they are nothing more than the modern day equivalent to the court jester.

Marie   June 30th, 2009 - 4:30 pm

Wasn’t it the Black Caucus led by JJJr. who offered the moment of silence? How ironic that the last thing MJ wanted to be or look like was black. Wonder why he didn’t fit their criteria of a racist?

Bawny Fwank   June 30th, 2009 - 4:34 pm

I would like a moment of silence in congress for Billy Mays… at least he contributed to society.

mary   June 30th, 2009 - 4:36 pm

Is there ever a moment of silence when a member of our brave military gives the ultimate sacrifice? Not from the anti-american liberals.

I'm just sayin'   June 30th, 2009 - 4:37 pm

Keith:

Farah and Ed were whiter.

Oops! Waitaminute…

Bawny Fwank   June 30th, 2009 - 4:38 pm

You will never see a moment of silence in a democrat congress because they hate the military. That’s why you don’t hear any news reports coming from over there about how great a job they are doing.

hoppy   June 30th, 2009 - 4:40 pm

Can we be any more childish with the name calling and crap slinging?
You people on both sides are pathetic.

gho And you join the name calling….nice

Eric   June 30th, 2009 - 4:43 pm

Wow, a Democrat I agree with! Did anybody else feel the Earth move just now?

harryshell   June 30th, 2009 - 4:44 pm

Summer – you got it almost right. This is not speaking ill of the dead. It is speaking ill of the idiots who make up our Congress.

Jackson wasn’t one of their spiritual peers. That would be insulting to Jackson. He was one of their role models. Modern day Democrats aren’t fit to walk on the same ground he did. It’s a sacrilege that they do it anyway.

To put it another way – while Jackson deserves some degree of respect (though he was no MLK or Mother Theresa), people like Pelosi do not. They deserve to have their voices dubbed over by cartoon characters like Donald Duck. That would at least alert people to the fact that they are listening to the mind of a cartoon.

TK   June 30th, 2009 - 4:45 pm

Ohhh I see. It’s OK to be unfaithful to your wife if you are a Democrat. Got it.

Jack Blade   June 30th, 2009 - 4:46 pm

black kettle potus

Bawny Fwank   June 30th, 2009 - 4:50 pm

See, if they just showed a video of someone reading the bill on the Golf channel they might have realized what a piece of crap they were voting on before they passed it. But liberals love crap, they would have voted on it anyway. Most liberal state in the world, California, completely broke… what a ‘role model’ they are (words of our TOTUS).

Bill Blast   June 30th, 2009 - 4:50 pm

Know why the right wingers are against abortion?….Gives them less children for them and their religious leaders to molest

sean   June 30th, 2009 - 4:50 pm

bawny… if we took a moment of silence to honor the dead soldiers (who died fighting the unfounded republican oil war that YOUR messiah started), they’d get even less done than they do now.

tyler durden   June 30th, 2009 - 4:52 pm

Umm.. last time I checked Mike Jackson was a child molester..what is the need for a moment of silence again..?

Secondly, Mike Jackson is a child molester who paid off several victims to make the case go away, and he is a child molester who BOUGHT three chilren for his private menagerie, using his massive wealth.

So,, that also makes mike jackson a modern slave master.. none of those three kids has a ounce of Jackson genetics. Look at all three kids, and none have any african phentoype whatsoever.. jackson prior to all his surgeries was typically african in his appearance. The children would certainly be expected to partially resemble their white mother, but there is NO way that you get three entirely cauacasian children with the father being Mike Jackson..
so lets have a moment of silence for a nation in which a known, notorious pedophile predator is allowed to BUY THREE CHILDREN for his private stock, with his immense wealth, and is later passed of as a great man.. stop this nation, I want to get off.

Bawny Fwank   June 30th, 2009 - 4:55 pm

Ronald Reagan was once asked when he considered a fetus to be a human… his response: “When it votes republican.”

Jefferson Davis   June 30th, 2009 - 4:56 pm

Can you imagine the criticism from the Socialist Atheist Left if we had observed a moment of silence for Charlton Heston (Moses) when the GOP controlled Congress? Never would have heard the end of it? Again if anyone deserves a moment of silence it’s the brave men and women in our military who have given there lives for this country!

Bawny Fwank   June 30th, 2009 - 4:56 pm

War for oil? Where’s the oil?? I’m still paying $2.60 a gallon for gas. Whos’s got the oil???

Sglick   June 30th, 2009 - 4:57 pm

Funny how somehow remembering a global entertainer who has passed away is somehow ‘bad’ — just because the Democrats are in control of the government…yet last I checked, it was two REPUBLICAN presidents (Reagan and Bush 41) no less who took the time to honor him!

Please, don’t let those pesky facts get in the way of your precious worldview!

Keith   June 30th, 2009 - 4:57 pm

I’m just sayin:

You’re right…what was I thinking. According to Michael, “it don’t matter if your black or white!” unless your a politician!

Charles S. Opalek, PE   June 30th, 2009 - 4:58 pm

A moment of silence in Congress? For an entertainment figure? Spare me! How about a moment of silence for all the Congressmen that voted for the Tax and Trade Scam (ie: Climate Change) Bill?

Here are the facts on global warming for those Congressmen that voted yes, but really didn’t know what was in the bill anyway.

Greenhouse Gases:
a) 95% of all CO2 is put into the atmosphere by nature; 5% by man.
b) 99.999% of all water vapor generated is by nature; 0.001% by man.
c) wv by a factor of 26 has more of a spectral absorption bandwidth or global warming effect than does CO2.
d) after the effects from CH4, N2O and CFCs are added, the ghg gw generated by nature works out to 99.72%; man’s 0.28%.

CO2:
e) In 1825, CO2 levels were higher than they are today.
f) 600 million years ago CO2 levels were 7,000ppm, 18 times higher than today.

Temperature:
g) for the last 600 million years the atmosphere has been between 12C and 22C. 44% of the time it has been AT 22C. Right now we are at 14.5C. If all the known 4,000 gigatons of fossil fuel reserves were burned and thrown into the atmosphere, CO2 levels would reach 2,450 ppm. The attendant temperature increase would be 1.4C, with a resulting temperature of 15.9C, nowhere near any ‘tipping point’.
h) ice core data shows a correlation between CO2 and temperature. CO2 increases come about 800 years AFTER temperature increases. It is increasing temperatures that drive CO2 out of solution of the world’s oceans.

So, if CO2 isn’t the cause of climate change, what is?
(1) lunar orbit/declination cycles.
(2) Earth orbit Milankovich cycles.
(3) Planetary mechanics (Jupiter/Saturn orbit beat frequency cycles) which alter the Sun’s angular momentum creating 11 year Sun spot cycles.
(4) increasing cloud cover (global cooling) created by more cosmic ray flux, modulated by the Earth’s magnetosphere, which is varied by solar wind and coronal mass ejections from the Sun spots.
(5) (1) thru (4) above account for the elephant in the room; CO2 is the flea on the elephant’s rear end.

It wasn’t even a full minute. This Congress can’t even do a moment of silence right. Let me guess; a Democrat first suggested it, a Republican objected and then everyone voted for it just like TARP, Stimulus and Crap and Trade.

Jefferson Davis   June 30th, 2009 - 5:03 pm

Yeah Sean I seem to recall a bunch of your Socialist Comrades voting to support President Bush in that “unfounded republican oil war” which the DNC ( DO NOT CONFUSE me with the facts party) brainwashes it’s followers to think by the imbibing of the cool aid! Even your new messiah Obamanation of Desolation voted to support it?

Thanks for spending “an awful lotta time”…..
We still “respect the hell out of ya”…..

Can’t these smiley-sounding phoneys on every radio show learn to be sincere and not such a bunch of lackeys and sycophants? Try to talk like real people and think about the crap you’re speaking on air incessantly!

PERVERT!!They should have used that minute to read some of the legislation they are blinding voting on instead of wasting it on a pediphile who overdosed on drugs. Why honor a successful singer who was a moral failure? Anytime you find gay pornography in a man’s bedroom with little boys’ finger prints all over the pages, chances are there’s a pervert present…..aquittal or no. Character doesn’t seem to matter much to the left. Hence, a President who doesn’t have enough will power to even quit smoking. Let’s hope his determination and will power is a tad stronger when it comes to national defence and standing up to terrorists. Let republicans run the country and keep us safe and let democrats run hollywood and entertainment.

Why am I not surprised that they would have a moment of silence for someone who while enormously talented threw it away along with any positive influence he could have provided. Why am I not surprised that they held a moment of silence so they could avoid tackling the many and serious issues that need to be addressed? Why am I not surprised? Because this is the largest group of the laziest, most useless, self-serving, progress hindering, incompetent bunch of fools, crooks and losers all in one place in the country!

Drew Baye   June 30th, 2009 - 5:09 pm

The extreme right and left are both lunatics, as is anyone who would ask for a moment of silence for a child molester. Jackson was an entertainer, and not a scientist, doctor, soldier, fireman, or police officer or someone who actually does something important.

They should have held a moment of silence for common sense, which seems to be dead in politics.

Jack Blade   June 30th, 2009 - 5:09 pm

Gotta agree with Randy on that!

I am a conservative who credits M.J. for his talent and hold him responsible for his faults. Far more important is to notice the hatred and hipocresy of liberals. They call evryone else “intolerant”, “racist”, “antiwomen”, “antienvironment”, all the while spitting into everyone who disagrees with them: They would not let secure-order views be even heard (so much for freedom of speech), they utter vile jokes about Palin’s dauther (so much for compassion and respect for women), they wanted our troops to get killed so we would be forced out of Iraq (so much for love for country), they praise Castro and Chavez while calling Bush a fascist (so much for hypocrites), they speak of fairness while robbing from the successful to give to bums (so much for justice), they decry racism while supporting quotas (so much for color blindness) and so on, and so on.
What a sad pile of crap they are. They know they hate this country that is why they touchy, they know they are weak and cowards, that is why they concede to the bullies of the world (Iran, Chavez, Castro) while castigate our friends (Colombia, Hondurans). If I were them I would feel the same way: worthless!
