I like the music. However…
Global warming doesn’t make everything warmer all the time. That’s not how it works. If global warming causes increases in ocean temperatures by, say, 1degF on average, that is a huge amount of additional energy. Some of that energy heats the air above the water by a small amount. Warmer air can hold more moisture, so if the whole atmosphere above an ocean (a lot of air) picks up just a little more moisture than it had before, that is a lot of additional water. Since climates all over Earth fluctuate in temperature quite a bit during a year (for example, the Midwest gets hot in the summer and very cold in the winter), you’ll have normal hot and cold weather now with more moisture added to the air. In the summer, this leads to more rain, thunderstorms and tornadoes. In the winter, this leads to more blizzards, snow and ice. In other words, a very small change in average ocean temperature leads to much harsher weather world wide.
Despite being scientifically wrong, I like the music.

there’s a difference between climate and weather. The difference between weather and climate is a measure of time. Weather is what conditions of the atmosphere are over a short period of time, and climate is how the atmosphere “behaves” over relatively long periods of time.
When we talk about climate change, we talk about changes in long-term averages of daily weather. Today, children often hear stories from their parents and grandparents about how snow was always piled up to their waists as they trudged off to school. I sure have from my parents, who are in their 70’s, of winters in northern vermont when they were growing up.. That doesn’t mean that we will never get an unprecedented blizzard as we’ve seen in the mid Atlantic States this winter. If you take long term averages of the weather over the last 100 years, it has gotten warmer
We’ve noticed here in Vermont that spring comes earlier each year and that summers are much hotter than when my parents were growing up (or even when I was a child in the 1970s).
Long term averages show an increase in the temperature. But we still get freak blizzards now and then! That’s weather for you.

What would you expect from a political party that wants to want to tax the very air that we breathe AND blame their political opponents for the weather….and apparently even earthquakes and hurricanes now (Thank you Danny Glover, et al). Of course blizzards and record cold are simply an anomaly. Bwahhhhhh!!! Personally I think the Gores should stick to their mental illness advocacy efforts. That’s a tuff sell, Ken. Global temps have decreased slightly over the past 11 years. That’s why the e-wackos
dropped the term “global warming” and starting using “climate change.” That way

CO2 is plant food by the way. Plants ingest CO2 and emit oxygen. And that’s
a good thing. I remember learning that in my 2nd grade science unit at LeMay St.
