ShamaYah. Sure. There are many solutions that do not create yet another entitlement program our great grandchildren cannot afford.

It wouldn’t even be an issue if our parents, parents paid their own bills instead of sluffing them off on future generations, as well as everyone who came later.

We can start with: removing unfunded mandates, allowing competition across state lines, allowing small business to group together as a single entity for insurance, allowing people to purchase plans “buffet” style instead of plans that must cover everything from mental illness to warsteiners spots.

Most importantly, we can reform a judicial system run amok and eliminate “litigation lottery” with actual tort reform.

Once that is done, we can simply change a line or two in the tax code. Allow people to deduct medical expenses — if you don’t pay in, you would still get your expenses back.

And all without a government thug division and socializing 1/6th of the economy. This has nothing to do with being “christian” or anything else. It has to do with being an American who is unwilling to shoot our grandchildren in the foot financially.

There are hundreds of other ways we can do this, I list simply a few ideas. The problem is we can’t debate about it, they just have to slam another bill they didn’t read down our throats.

Jesus instructed HIS followers to take care of the poor and hungry…never a government of a nation! That charge was given to the followers of Christ.

Today we have the Salvation Army, The Purple Heart and others that have continually fed, clothed, and housed those of the poor. Every denomination has also done the same. My denomination has a drug rehab program, an unwed mothers program, a food pantry, etc.

Perhaps, the denomination you attend does not do these things and maybe you should start one to start doing the instructions given by Christ.

This should have nothing, nothing to do with government! It is not their charge to take care of the poor that is the responsiblity of individuals and churches.

And all administrations prior to this one have always recognized what individual denominations have done for years on behalf of helping the poor. That is why we have the ‘faith initiative’ programs that we have to help them financially to help the poor.

So if you prayed today that your government would take over the charge given by Christ to HIS church…you were praying in the wrong manner. You should have prayed that GOD would help your denomination and you, personally, to do what you can to fulfil the charge that GOD gave you and them!

Jesus would never approve of a government doing HIS charge…that is our responsibility and Americans of all faiths have always done everything they could to do just that.

Today I prayed that GOD’s will be done in this legislation…not my will! That is what HE would have wanted you to pray also…that HIS will be done…not yours!

Keep praying America…GOD is in control in all things…he sees tomorrow…we only see today…we trust HIM…we believe HIM…we pray to HIM that HIS will be done in our country, our world and in our lives!

GOD bless all Christians today…that have prayed the same!
