She is merely giving an example of how she was able to implement small changes in her family’s life to eventually attenuate good changes in their overall health. I have to agree that she should not have mentioned her young daughters having weight issues. They are both at a very vulnerable age and are at that point where they are not sure of themselves and to have your own mother air their dirty laundry on the air was in poor taste. They have to be totally mortified. Most female children are a bit chubby before they grow into womenhood and afterwards they lose the so called “baby fat”. Leave the kids out of the spotlight. I feel so sorry for those children if their mother feels it is okay to discuss their personal issues with the rest of the world. The kids look great and look very healthy that is all that counts. It is one thing to discuss this issue in private with your Country Club friends, but to say something like this for the whole world to hear, is a bit over the edge.

I hope when Michelle arrived at home that her mom slapped her off the side of the head and stated how would you have liked it if I announced your personal dirty laundry over the PA system when you were in school. You would have been mortified and you just did this to those poor girls.

Michelle Obama is 50 pounds overweight. Because she has a personal trainer and full time cook, she has managed to get down to ONLY 50 pounds overweight.
