Well that really is a tasty looking boy–who wouldn’t get excited? I’d say the anti-gay crusader needs to change and gain moral clarity. He’s behaving like someone in the Roman Empire.

I do not care WHO it is whether Democrat, Republican, c.Independent, Christian leader, business man, etc.- if you get involved in this stuff you are going to get burned. Except I will say that the Lib. media will bypass any wrongdoing on their own sins and pass the blame.

What happens is that peoples egos and pride overtakes their lives and they turn away from good and God. People in leadership positions fall to the pressure that the rest of the world engages in.

I am a Christian and a sinner, but Christ washed my sins clean- it is a daily walk with Him being filled with the Holy Spirit that keeps me from falling to the pressure of the world. He-Jesus Christ keeps me – it is only by His grace and power that does so. I myself have NO part in it- NOT by works, rituals or by my own goodness.

It is interesting how CNN and the other liberal media selectively choose what to air and what to ignore..No doubt, this guy deserved to be revealed..but, so does Obama and the rest of his administration with all they’ve done and plan to do to this nation’s people…After all, I suspect the damage done by the boy ‘king’ will affect far more than this guy who calls himself a minister..CNN..your bias is showing..STILL..

This is a sad story. I have a few things we should all note:

1) The Family Research Council is distancing themselves from him (‘no contact for 10 years’). This suggests to me that they are at least suspicious that the accusations are true. I am not saying that we should assume guilt but I have to reluctantly admit that it looks that way right now.
2) The fact that the church has sinners in it doesn’t mean that Christianity or the Bible is not true. To the contrary, the Bible teaches that all sin and fall short. We shouldn’t be surprised by sinners in the church, we should expect it.
3) If we are going to start rejecting institutions for the sins of the members, let’s all take our kids out of public schools – I have read quite a few stories about creepy teachers over the past year.

Hi Jude, I don’t think anyone is defending the man. Hypocrisy is a bummer. My concern is with the resulting mockery and denunciations of Christianity (or Christian sexual ethics) that seems to always follow stuff like this.

So we have Rekers “I am not gay and never have been,” wide stance Larry Craig “I am not gay and never have been,” and a host of others on the Right who are gay, bi , whatever and deny it even while caught. And YOU are their enablers. Now you are denying the revelation of this. Get real – there are gay people that are Republican, conservative, whatever. You say it’s all a liberal conspiracy – sounds like the mirror image of Hillary.

But what IS wrong with this is that these people are so conflicted with their persona that their inner conflicts have perpetuated the prejudice that people have on what is a natural condition. Being gay is part of human sexuality. People don’t choose to be gay. They are born or perhaps develop that way (the exact causes are not known) but it cannot be changed. Being gay does not make someone evil no more than being straight make someone good. Live and let live – Rekers and others need to come to terms with the reality of what they are.

I see a far stretch from the media in order to promote more gay lifestyles and make it more acceptable. Why is this news?

I’ve also heard of 3 gay guys from Obama’s church who got shot in the head 40 days apart to shut them up for having had sex with the Obama: Nate Spencer, Donald Young, and Larry Bland.

I’ve also heard of Vera Baker and Barack Obama cheating on Michele O. during the campaign by meeting in hotel rooms.

I am a conservative but this whole story sounds fishy to me! I have stayed in hotels in Europe and in the US and they have a thing called “Bell Hops” that carry your luggage for you! A kid like that massaging you for an hour a day by the time you pay him $75 a day and round trip air fare to Europe plus food etc. You could have went to a spa everyday!! Weird!!

Thoughts:
1) This young Rent-A-Boy allows people to violate his body in exchange for money. Gosh, I don’t for one second believe he would give false testimony for money, do you? He doesn’t even have to take his clothes off to get paid. And he seemed so morally troubled by Rekers behavior. Aaawwww.
2) Interesting this story of great importance reached only Anderson Cooper.
3) It was my impression that in the photo of Lucien standing near Rekers and his baggage card, the face of Lucien seems to be blurred. And Rekers doesn’t even seem to be aware of his presence. Interesting that this picture was the best example of two people involved in an illicit relationship the Left could find. You’d think they would have at least selected one where they were facing each other, eh?
4) All the business and community leaders I know carelessly leave paper trails and computer histories of their visits to Rentboy and other pornographic sites. They know the press and their political enemies would never look there…..
5) Anybody checked the President’s computer records to see where he’s been? Or does he just dribble off-line?

NOW I see the appeal of religious conservatism… A worldview based on a made-up mythology allows you to ignore facts and intellectual rigor and just make things up and believe them. What fun!

This story is of importance because Rekers have been involved in most major anti-gay cases / legislation around the Country. Rekers is a cofonder of the Family Research Council and a board member of NARTH. So basically conservative anti-gay rhetoric rides on Reker’s shoulders.

The story is authentic because Rerkers acknowledged to have hired the rentboy to carry his luggage (if you are suspicious of that, then you are suspecting Reker’s account) , also they were pictured in the Miami Airport, curiously Rekers is the one handling their luggage as they await for the elevator.

Reker’s behavior is consistent with Ted Haggard’s, Larry Craig’s, Mark Folley’s and all the other closeted conservative who condemn gay people.

The Bible says a lot of things. And we don’t necessarily follow them all. This crusade against gay people has to end.

Look at Raker’s mustache…….GAAAAAAAAY. Another hypocrite Baptist. I wonder how long they’ve been covering up his behavior or renting male prostitutes, I’d bet this wasn’t the first time.
