Media Parrots Same Talking Points: ‘Most Productive Congress Since Great Society’

Is it a coincidence when reporters and anchors all use the exact same words when describing the 111th Congress in such flattering and historic language? From network anchors in New York to local news across the country, where do they all get the same words?

Obama delusion is alive and well. These people will say and do anything to save their prophet Lamebama. Where were they November 3rd when his party was humiliated.

Whats_Up   December 24th, 2010 - 3:04 am

PRODUCTIVE …sadly, I have to agree. Truth be told, the JourNalsit blog has gone WAY to the DARK SIDE.
They have renamed themselves & their hard hitting talking points …their verbiage HOPING that all will buy their PR, Lies and BS. Evil and Anti-American sums them up.

AlmostDailey   December 24th, 2010 - 3:31 am

HOLY KOW ! What a FARCE these people are.. Polls prove it… IF they were elected.. or WE had anything to say about their jobs.. they would be cut loose so fast you wouldn't be able to find their hairpieces !

OneAmericanDude   December 24th, 2010 - 3:39 am

They're right, they have done more damage than any of our enemies could ever hope to do.

The media is like a bunch of blowflies, just can't waiting to jump on Berry's crap and eat it up.

bsmkchan   December 24th, 2010 - 3:53 am

I have the same question for Fox News. Every reporter and commentators at Fox News always uses the same key words. She is just as guilty as the rest of the leftwing media.

WorldclaZZ   December 24th, 2010 - 3:58 am

If you stand behind a bull for awhile, you'll know that they, too, are very productive. Guess it all depends on your perspective.

MellowFire   December 24th, 2010 - 3:59 am

It's call Propaganda. Replace the word "productive" with "destructive" and we'll be closer to the truth.

Destructive of what? American ideals, U.S. economy, Individual Freedom….

sunflowers   December 24th, 2010 - 4:06 am

Rush plays these dolts all the time. On so many news stories they have the same exact wording that the Obama Whtie House puts out, faxes it to them and they dutifully read it.

claspur   December 24th, 2010 - 4:13 am

Start at the beginning-here first, with the question of, what are the *Progressive-possitive results of The Great Society in the first place?

Shopping is done. I go no where near the mall today or most days for that matter. I did take my permit driving daughter to the mall last week during a busy time, and with her behind the wheel, the only thing I wanted was a martini when we arrived. Busy parking lots and new drivers takes years off your life. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

panther440   December 24th, 2010 - 4:36 am

Now we know where all that missing Stimulus money is being spent… a Christmas bonus for every bobblehead lamestreet media talking head that signed on when they began campaigning this trojan horse.

CheesecakeLarry   December 24th, 2010 - 4:38 am

If by productive, you actually mean; corrupt, evil, lying, cheating, stealing, moronic, then yes they have been that.

Tokyomatt   December 24th, 2010 - 4:46 am

Main stream media is controlled by the Obama Administration. They been told what to say and when. If the Administration tell them to jump of a sky scraper, you just know they will do it.

gwar5   December 24th, 2010 - 4:50 am

This commie congress was the most destructive since the old Soviet Union fell apart.

Saving the world from the brink greatest financial crises in 80 years (their words), and then immediately adding the world's biggest and most expensive new entitlement program and the worlds biggest stimulus spending bill for shovel ready jobs that weren't there, was sheer genius.

Obama is a dream team combo of: Carter + Hugo Chavez + Spike Lee. A loser + a marxist + a loudmouth who thinks he can play roundball

.

joymc   December 24th, 2010 - 5:02 am

What is the good of 'production' when it is production of garbage the American people do not want? This push to impose garbage legislation onto us is proof we need to get rid of these democrats. Instead of representing the American people, dems place themselves over and above the American people. To hell with that. That word 'production' is in the same catagory as that word 'change'. What good is change for the worse?

TommyRichards   December 24th, 2010 - 5:22 am

There is no doubt that most news reporters and TV station’s management appear to be under the forceful thumbs of this administration, starting from the top up, the producers. Apparently, these weak kneed and unprincipled pro-left wing Putz’s have been castrated and placed under the Hitler-Like demands of parroting Whitehouse messages. – a very sick and dangerous precedent!

While we await the 2012 elections, HOW do we attack, subvert and/or bankrupt these leftist news orgs?

This CAN NOT STAND!

If we don't do something about the lies and propaganda spewed daily by the MSM, we're going to see them bond together again and completely control the results of the next presidential election — and primaries.

That video was a perfect example of how they create a coordinated wall of deception.

bashley   December 24th, 2010 - 5:48 am

The 111th Congress has all but guaranteed that the political divisions in the Republic will not be resolved peaceably. Soon, the average American citizen, and indeed the average person in countries round the world, is going to feel the full effects of what these criminally negligent and hopelessly corrupt administrations and Congresses have done to the economy, to our rights, and to our liberties. And when that happens, there will be no place on Earth for these contumelious pieces of dung to hide to escape our wrath. And that applies to these smirking, self-important propagandists who cover their asses on TV too. It is already beginning, and in the coming days, it will accelerate exponentially.

Merry Christmas, patriots. Hold your loved ones close this season.

That's funny. You know what this Democrat-run government reminds me of? You familiar with that big blob of collected waste floating in the middle of the Pacific? One article called it a "trash vortex." It keeps expanding, collecting more trash, and is completely adrift. That's a good allegory for the Dems and their union pals.

They networks are all owned by the same institutional investors and Wall street banks that are really running the country. They are getting the FED to pump them TARP 2.0 right now while we are being spoon fed this crap on TV. They are private banks! Taxpayer money is going to them without congressional appropriations and the networks are silent on this while the democrats are aiding and abetting the theft.

ABC, NBC, CBS — the parent companies are owned by the likes of Goldman Sachs, Barclays, JPM, Citi; and GE even got TARP 1.0 and TARP 2.0 directly from the FED. This is unheard of for a non bank.

(survey: The Pew Research Center for the People & the Press’ biennial media attitudes survey was conducted July 22-26)

■"More than twice as many people believe the press is liberal vs. conservative (50% vs. 22%). In 1985 it was 40% vs. 19%"
———————————————-

ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, NPR and CNN along with The NYT (who gives parroting orders to the rest of print media) have become nothing more than a bunch of bubble-headed cheer leaders shaking their pompoms for Obama and the left.

It is a good thing that FOX exists to present an opposing point of view so that viewers can decide which media outlet is most believable. When all media are in lock-stop they have become nothing more than a propaganda machine. Think China, Venezuela, Cuba, the USSR and Nazi Germany.

It is little wonder that FOX is the big winner in the ratings game, The msm would do well to take note.

Jamesb   December 24th, 2010 - 7:59 am

They have a law already – it's called the 1st amendment – I was kind of joking but in a stealthy manner,

I'm with you – more laws = less freedom. The American press has almost completely abducated their role as "watchdog" and are now "cheerleaders" – except they're ugly ones.

We must recapture the press, education system and the judiciary if we are to save ourselves as a country.

wimperwimper   December 24th, 2010 - 7:59 am

These kind of coordinated efforts has been going on between the media, on TV shows, news, advertising, art, music, documentaries, movies, etc. They all get involved in pushing the message to achieve their agenda. The liberals have been coordinating their "message" attacks on the public for decades — it's just more sophisticated now. Thank God people are finally getting it. Creepy Press all say the exact same thing?? that is very creepy. Most productive Congress well if you count 65 per cent of us former Dems went Tea Party that was very productive. Too bad this group has already been voted OUT, in 12 maybe we can finish the job vote out the remainder, undo all this Productive Nonsense that the 111th legislated in dark of night and other frauds. The work to restore our Constitutional Republic cannot begin soon enough.

BuckSmith   December 24th, 2010 - 8:42 am

The journalists are right, but it a reference frame issue. Productive for Washington DC and journalists that report on it = destructive for the rest of the country.

NYresident   December 24th, 2010 - 8:43 am

The MSM propping up of Obama and the Democrat party is truly disgusting! Have they no shame? How can these people call themselves journalists? And it's not just the TV media; the newspapers, from NYT down to local rags like mine (Poughkeepsie Journal) pump out the propaganda. How did this happen in our country? If it wasn't for the internet (and they know it), they would have likely succeeded in brainwashing most of the nation. As it is, they are only able to keep their Democrat minority minions fooled.

NYresident   December 24th, 2010 - 8:45 am

I heard a good saying the other day, I think it was on one of the Breitbart discussions:

Add one drop of raw sewage to a cask of fine wine, and you have a cask of sewage. (or something like that; these leftists pollute everything they contact)

BillyDKidd   December 24th, 2010 - 8:51 am

Do we really have to ask where the words came from? It is propaganda from the chief Propagandist. I pray America wakes up before it is truly to late.

Thale_Taxurfeet   December 24th, 2010 - 8:53 am

Sued? Maybe so. Hard to deny the US citizen standing when there are so many among us, who are less willing/able to root out multiple sources for their information, relying only on Pravda.

Maybe we should ask a weepy Sally Struthers to make an infomercial for the poor unfortunates among us who can't afford the price of a daily dose of paying attention to sources other than Pravda?

An easier approach, not to mention less costly in coin and time, would be to deny Pravda any and all access to your dollars. Notify them that you're going to bitterly cling to your devalued, depression era dollars, while notifying their primary revenue sources, the advertisers, that they too will be denied any of your money not seized and redistributed by Uncle Joe ah, make that Uncle O.

The Progressives/Leftist/Democrats/Socialist/Communists or whatever their moniker is today, use the threat of a boycott action all the time. Maybe we should too?

NYresident   December 24th, 2010 - 8:54 am

Take heart all Christians here, I've been reading a book about end-times prophecy, and this is all fitting in. The U.S. is not mentioned by symbol or other means when end-times prophecies of the Bible are studied. That means that either the U.S. is no longer the U.S., or the U.S. teams up with one or more countries that will constitute the "10 kings" who/that (person or country) are involved with the final attack of Israel. But the rapture will take us away first, so we won't have to live through the seven year tribulation period. Just imagine a world without any Christians, and you can get a hint of how evil and corrupt it will be. Right now, the Christian influences in this country are barely holding it together. And sadly, when the rapture occurs, most people left behind STILL won't acknowledge the truth of the Bible!
