The differences are quite clear. One was an event engaging people who are effective in changing the agenda across the country, in direct contrast to the agenda pressed by the MSM. That event would also remind many people of the radical period of the 60s and 70s that the press works to downplay, lest it shed an embarrassing light on someone.

Most likely if pushed, the MSM would simply excuse the ineffective event as an isolated and therefore non-newsworthy gathering. They happen every day in that park, right? Commonplace. Move on.

Well said. I can personally trace this kind of selective reporting by the MSM back to when Ronald Reagan was in office and the plight of the homeless was the story of choice. The day after Bill Clinton took office you would have thought that every single homeless person was now comfortable in their new homes. The stories of their plight all but vanished. It was obvious, the homeless problem no longer fit the narrative. Even back then many of us were aware that the MSM was by and large pushing the liberal agenda. We just didn't have a Fox News or a Breitbart that made it so clear.

This is why the newspaper industry is in shambles, why conservative blogs and news sites are the most visited, and why FOX news is demolishing every other cable news network. Anarchists are actually very pathetic. They were in town recently for a large scale protest of an event and I was able to speak to some of them. They are actually kind of pathetic. They live in abandoned houses or in wooded areas. They don't work because they are lazy. They want to live off the government (ie. they want to live off the rest of us working folks).
