We are already broke from Medicaid, Medicare, S-Chip and the VA, and now the government wants the private insurance industry too. Just like the banking and auto industries. Know why genius? Power sweetums. The Left wants perpetual power. And all the money that comes with it. Everyone is not ‘equal’ in a Socialist government poopykins. Do they care about ‘healthcare’? Nope. Is there any doubt that health insurance companies don’t make out like bandits on this legislation? Any whatsoever? This is corrupt crony capitalism at it worst. I would be embarrassed to call myself a Democrat. Simply pathetic.
I am predicting if this healthcare bill passes, President Obama’s status as a Natural Born Citizen will face a truly meaningful challenge in the courts. Up until now, most politicians and media outlets (and sleepwalking Americans) have been satisfied with accepting that the President is a US Citizen and the birth issue a red-herring. However, the elephant in the room just knocked over the (arguably best and approved by 80%+ of the US population according to polls) standing healthcare system in the world. Is the Obama a Natural Born Citizen concern – voiced by the “crazy right” – finally going to be questioned and addressed by politicians and the media… and the center of mass for this discussion finally occur. Whether he was born in Hawaii or not is really irrelevent in the context of getting him thrown out of office – that is the US-Citizen question. But it’s the Natural Born Citizen status that is the key to any (in my opinion) meaningful legal challenge. Does the parentage of one US-Citizen confer Natural Born Citizen status? Or does it require two US-Citizens to confer Natural Born Citizen status. Why this question was never fully asked before, I cannot pretend to know why. But if you have any part of your being that wonders what the true answer is, you’ve got to at least think that the US court system has to address it. Right, Left… it doesn’t matters. Do we want to gloss this constitutional issue over as this administration pushes policies that most Americans find distasteful and illegal? It appears that the healthcare issue will be the flashpoint in my mind… the folks that don’t want this are going to go to the courts to challenge the President’s legal status as a Natural Born Citizen. That is the prediction of one of the “little people”.

More false smoke and mirrors on how much all this will cost. Remember it isn’t too late to turn this big mistake around. At this point, you like I, probably keep getting busy signals on the phones of the Congressmen. So please, for those who know the Senators and Representatives personally and can call them directly, please call them and ask them to reconsider their votes. This vote is really important for it is a bad deal to over 300 million Americans. When you have to twist arms and bribe Congressmen for votes, and when you can’t get anyone from the other party to vote with you, AND when the MAJORITY of Americans, shown in all polls, are against this bill, please ask these Congressmen to vote NO, and to come back to the table to debate the problems of this health care bill so that a proper bill can be passed with votes from all parties and with the approval of at “least” a majority of the America people. It’s not too late to stop this bill from being the biggest mistake forced on well over a majority of the Americans. Please pass this on also. The amount of Americans who feel they are not being listened to is so huge, that the entire Democratic party may become extinct in the next upcoming elections. Medicare and SS are socialist, government, one payer programs-supported by the tax base of the working class citizens. Talk about the redistribution of wealth that is so often alluded to. That’s exactly what this is–except its redistribution of monies from the labor force that flows into the U S Budget that in turn subsidizes this money hemorrhaging program. The benefactors have a sense of entitlement( payouts are tons more then they fever paid in). They and their spouses (some who contributed a paltry amount or none all) lustfully enjoy a WEALTH of perks at little cost to them and at the expense of BIG GOVERNMENT. This is government’s intrusion at its summit–BUT when one is a recipient of the largess-then its quite acceptable.
I will NOT pay for anyone else other than my family to have health insurance. My husband and I have worked way to hard to get where we are today. We could of asked for help, but didn’t. Those constituents or fans that support this health care bill do not have a good argument as to why they support the bill, do not fully understand what is in this bill and/or are the suckers on our government. The ones that get assistance to pay their homes, utilities, day care and groceries, but then drive around in their fancy cars and brand name clothing. They say they can’t afford to have health insurance, but they have enough money for cell phones, cigarettes, beer, brand new televisions and the list goes on and on.
