The “nuclear” option is a resort the Democratzi can use to enforce the “government run” option in a bill originally without it! So you know it is a failsafe to get what they want in the long run. All they have to do is once something more “neutral” is passed…they will declare it not working and bring in…”government run” healthcare!
So they are trying to come in the back door on something that won’t go through the front door!

Pass what legislation, Maxine? Remember, Obama is too gutless to put his name on any legislation now. That way, he can remain a pussy and not feel responsible for any “warts” in the legislation.

According to Sept 8th WSJ Page A20, government is already paying nearly 47 cents of every nealth care dollar spent in 2007. Get your facts straight. Then again if one listens to drug addict talk shows, thats what one can expect!

ted09, what’s your point? You want to take a bad situation and make it even worse? Are you saying that the 47 cents is good money and the 53 cents is bad?
And the 47 cents is not actually paid by the government, you idiot. It’s paid by the taxpayers. A little lesson in capitalism – governments don’t produce anything. They only consume. Take that 47 cents and give it to the private sector and you’ll end up with a better health product, more innovation, better drugs, better treatment.
